The Sugar Mommy
Without a Husband

After waiting all day, Rian still did not contact Elsa. She also did not manage to contact her husband because his phone was still off.

This made Elsa even more agitated. Although she tried to convince herself that her husband would soon call her, but still anxiety hit her.

Even to do homework, he was not focused. For example, like now, he was lifting a bucket filled with clothes that he wanted to wash.

She should have poured the laundry into the washing machine, but she poured it into the garbage bucket. Elsa who was wide-eyed was shocked to see her behavior.

"God! Why did I pour it here?!" chirped Elsa then quickly took back her laundry and put it in the laundry bucket.

Feeling unfocused on her homework, Elsa chose to sit for a moment in the dining room chair. He breathed a long breath while daydreaming. All this happened because she thought of her husband who until this moment had no news.

'How's this? Why can't Mas Rian be contacted? His friends also do not know his whereabouts. Who else can I find information about Mas Rian?' elsa with her mind.

So agitated, Elsa even had time to think of leaving for Jakarta and find out the condition of her husband. However, seeing her condition it was impossible for her to leave Faqih or leave it to her parents. It was even more impossible if he took Faqih a long journey. His baby son must be exhausted.

"What should I do? Can I wait until tomorrow?" muttered Elsa fondled the decision of what he would take.

As she struggled in her mind, Faqih cried from her room. As if awakened from her daydream, Elsa ran into the room to check on Faqih.

Elsa immediately held her son who woke up from his sleep and cried loudly. "Why are you crying, baby? Faqih woke up, huh? Don't cry, son, I've got you here" said Elsa, trying to calm Faqih.

But Faqih did not stop crying, instead he was getting fussy. Elsa also tried to give milk bottles that she had made for Faqih when her son was about to sleep.

Unfortunately Faqih did not seem to want to drink her milk and she still continued to cry loudly. Elsa was confused to see her son who never stopped crying.

'Why is faqih? Not usually he cried continuously like this, ' Inner Elsa who now began to feel anxious to see the condition of her son.

Elsa then looked at her son who was carrying her. Feeling that something was awkward, he then touched Faqih's forehead. "Jeez, Faqih's got a fever. She should cry like this,"

Elsa then walked out of the room and took a basin of water that had been given cold water. Then bring him back into the room to compress Faqih.

After compressing Faqih for a while, his son did seem a little calmer. But the fever has not yet gone down.

Having no supplies of drugs at home, and worried about the fever that never went down, Elsa finally decided to take her son to the nearest health center.

Fortunately it was still noon, so the puskesmas near Elsa's house were still operating. Elsa instantly prevented a rickshaw that happened to pass in front of her house.

"Sir, can you take me to the puskesmas at the end of the alley? I want to check on my child who has a fever" Elsa said in a hurry.

"Mr Elsa, who's sick?" shouted a mother who turned out to be next door neighbor Elsa. Several other neighbors who happened to be in front of the house became curious to see in the direction of Elsa.

"Faqih, Mum. Her body is hot, it looks like she has a fever. I want to take it to the puskesmas mumpung still daylight," said Elsa from inside the rickshaw while holding a sleeping Faqih.

"Be careful, Ma'am. May Faqih be healed soon, yes" said the other mothers. Elsa simply nodded then asked the pedicab attendant to leave immediately.

"What a pity, Elsa. She's so shady all by herself when she takes care of her son" commented the middle-aged mother whose house is right next door to Elsa's.

"Where is her husband? Why is it never seen now?" another mother who looked younger, and happened to be chatting with her.

"Listen he said he wandered to Jakarta looking for work," the middle-aged mother replied while looking at Elsa who was getting away with a look of pity.

"Oh yeah? Wow, it's great to be a city person. What does Miss Elsa's husband do in town?" ask the young mother who began to feel curious after hearing that Elsa's husband went to the capital.

"So, no one knows. He rarely goes home either. Perhaps already at home living in the city," the middle-aged mother replied as she spread her shoulders.

"It's a shame. Elsa now has a lot of money. But on the one hand she received less attention and affection from her partner," the young mother stared at the rickshaw on Elsa and looked further away.

"The name's alive, Mom. There must be less and more. No, don't gossip anymore. We can only pray that Elsa's family will be happy" the middle-aged mother said.

Actually Elsa has heard rumors about her who now has to fight alone from her neighbors. But he never cared about his neighbors.

And he also never hurt because of these words. Because the reality is that she currently has to fight alone when her husband migrated to the capital.

Elsa arrived at the puskesmas and immediately took Faqih to the check room. While Faqih was being examined, he finished his administration.

Elsa reentered the check room after her administration was done. "Dok, how's my son? Nothing bad, right?" elsa asked with a look at her worried face.

"Mother's son is just a common fever, no need to worry. Lately it is the season of toddlers getting the flu. Here I give you antibiotics and heat-lowering drugs. Please drink until it runs out, ma'am," said the puskesmas doctor explained.

Elsa nodded her head in understanding then carried the sleeping Faqih back out of the examination room towards the medicine taking section. While waiting for the cure, Elsa sat pensively staring and stroking Faqih's head.

'Yesterday he was still okay. Is Faqih fever because I can feel my anxiety about Mas Rian huh?' inner Elsa looked at her son's nilar who was fast asleep in his carrier.

She feels her son has a fever because lately she is too anxious to worry about her husband. However, because of Faqih baby, sometimes still drink breast milk even though more often drink formula, so surely can feel what the mother feels because of their strong inner bond.

'I can't be so nervous. Faqih still needs me. I must be strong for Faqih. I'm sure soon Mas Rian will soon be telling, 'Elsa's inner self is strengthening again.
