The Sugar Mommy
Not Want to Lose

Elsa had never been anything neko-neko from Rian as long as they were both husband and wife. How many times did Elsa say she just wanted her home life to be as normal as anyone else's. Well, Elsa understands that Rian is not part of highly educated people. Of the many jobs in the village, why should be a porters in the market?

It could be that Rian works in a factory, keeps a shop, and there are still many jobs that are more promising than being a pelvic coolie.

"You tired, Sa? Same .. I did too." Rian lowered both shoulders as he sighed. "Not that I don't want to find a more decent job like you said. But in this age, which is always difficult, getting a job is not easy. From our family there is no income, why do I not work there first? At the very least, we don't run out of money to buy rice. Faqih needs milk, pampers. If I don't work, what would our child love?" rian rubbed his hair back. "Or if you keep forcing me to work somewhere else. I was forced to work in the city, follow in Judge's footsteps ..."

The anger in Elsa's chest suddenly erupted, replaced by a feeling of unwillingness to hear that her husband would work in the city like a Judge.

If Rian works in the city, does that mean they'll live separately? Elsa shook her head slowly. Unsolicited, the woman had responded unconsciously.

Rian spoke again. "After I thought every night, Sa. Surviving in the village with a makeshift job, will not make our lives change. Then I had to move on, make a tough decision to get out of poverty. Honestly, I'm sick of being insulted, looked at after the eyes. Until you're accused of stealing food at Mak Ratih's house. I'm shy. I feel inferior because I can't make my wife happy. I'm sorry, Sa ..."

Elsa silently stared at the words thrown by Rian. Elsa squeezed the end of her shirt. As Elsa's heart melts, the fear of losing Rian threatens.

"I told the judge that I wanted to be as successful as he was. It doesn't matter what the job is, I'll take it. For your sake and for Faqih, for the sake of our little family, I'd be willing to live apart from you for a while."

Elsa's body turned stiff. His lips tightly shut. Elsa realizes that she has hurt Rian's feelings too often. Elsa is not evil, she only makes Rian as an outlet for her frustration over her life that she feels is too poor.

"While waiting for the job to come, I will work in the market first." Rian smiled thinly.

Just two hours of Judge sleep last night. How not, the contents of the Judge's head have been filled with fear, threats, the life of the Judge as if on the edge after a friend from the city contacted him.

Mak Ratih reprimanded the Judge last night, but the Judge said he was fine. There's no problem. He came back to the village because he missed his mother.

The judge went outside the room and rubbed his face. The judge yawned, he had not even washed his face and brushed his teeth. Arriving at the dining room, the Judge saw Mak Ratih was arranging food at the table.

"Tumben once you wake up in the morning, Kim," said Mak Ratih smiling. "Wash your face with a tooth first. Keep eating together, yeah."

The judge nodded following his mother's orders. After washing his face and brushing his teeth, the judge returned to the dining table. Mak Ratih went to the kitchen to fetch drinking water, as well as their cutlery.

Mak Ratih's heart is always calm if the Judge is at home. He would be even happier if all his children went back to the village.

Mak Ratih has more than two children. The youngest himself is Hakim, the favorite son of Mak Ratih—if said the other children of Mak Ratih. But the Judge's brother never felt envious. Because when the Judge was born into the world, their father was called by God. All the brothers of the Judge loved the youngest. More succumbed to the Judge than ever since childhood.

"Asalaminophen, Mak ... Judge ..."

"Our voice is Elsa, Kim?" ask Mak Ratih.

Judge nodded. "Yes, Mom. What's Elsa doing here so early in the morning?"

Mak Ratih shook his head. "Mom doesn't know. Wait here then, I'll be out for a minute to meet Elsa, yeah."

"Maroshaaikumsalam ..." Mak Ratih said hello to Elsa.

Mak Ratih found Elsa standing in the doorway of his house while carrying Faqih. Mak Ratih approached the woman, taking Elsa into her house.

"No need, Mom. I'm just here to see the judge. The judge's at home, Mommy?" elsa asked half urgently.

"There ...he's in the breakfast." Mak Ratih raised next to his eyebrows. "Tumben you're here looking for the Judge, Sa. Wh why? You're the same Rian again there's a problem? Rian ran away again?" guess Mak Ratih.

"No, Mom," replied Elsa. "There's something I want to talk to the judge about, Mom. It's about Mas Rian" he added.

Mak Ratih thinks Elsa wants to speak seriously to the judge. Mak Ratih chose to refrain from asking more.

"Sit down, Sa. I'll get you a drink, you call the judge." Mak Ratih pointed to the terrace chair.

"Yes, Mom. Thank you." Thank you." Elsa sat carefully as Faqih was sleeping in her cradle.

He has no appetite at all. If only he were in the city, the Judge would prefer to be alone in the room. Not eating, drinking. The judge always does so whenever he is in trouble. But because here he was supervised by Mak Ratih, the Judge still ate to appreciate his mother who had painstakingly cooked for him.

"Kim," call Mak Ratih back to the dining room. "Outside there's Elsa again from you. He said it's about Rian ..." The middle-aged woman approached her son's chair. "Why else, Kim? Elsa same Rian still fighting?" press Mak Ratih for the Judge to tell a story.

The judge was confused. The problem is that he does not know anything about the problems of his friend's household. The last time the Judge went to Elsa's rhyme, he said Rian was away looking for work.

"You meet Elsa first. Poor him waiting a long time. What else Elsa brought Faqih," persuaded Mak Ratih.

Without being asked by Mak Ratih, the Judge had intended to move from his seat. Mak Ratih sighed, to be honest he was curious what Elsa would talk about with the Judge.

"Hopefully there's no problem with Elsa and Rian." Mak Ratih pulled out a chair, then sat there alone.
