The Sugar Mommy

The Sugar Mommy
That Man Looks Different

Elsa invites Judge to chat on the porch of the house to avoid slander. Elsa is full of being slandered here and there. Recently he was even accused of stealing food at Mak Ratih's house. Rather than adding to Elsa's heartache, it was better to prevent her.

The woman outside the kitchen brought a glass of water to the judge. "Drink first, Kim. Sorry for how it was, yeah."

One glass of water is given to the judge. The youngest son Mak Ratih accepted. Elsa sat in the seat opposite the Judge.

"Thank you, Sa. Water is enough, really. I'm afraid to trouble you." The judge sipped water from the glass.

Elsa shaking. "There's no trouble at all, Kim."

The day was getting late, but Rian did not show the trunk of his nose. Elsa was worried that Rian was running away like this. How long does Rian want to act like a child? Every time I get angry and go away. Elsa understands that Rian wants to temper her anger, but does Rian not know that Elsa is afraid of Rian why-why?

As a wife, it was only natural that Elsa was worried about Rian. If Rian wasn't Elsa, he wouldn't care. If anything happens to Rian, isn't Elsa the one who's in trouble too?

The judge cleared the atmosphere between the two of them. It's common for Judges to have trouble finding a topic of conversation when they're together with Elsa. Whether it be then or now, the judge is still wrong. Years have passed, the Judge's feelings have never changed.

"I'm sorry if I offended you, Sa. But I know about this from Rian's story ..." The judge opened the conversation after a long silence.

Elsa nodded in understanding, she understood where the Judge was going now.

What else if it wasn't a matter of Rian and herself fighting? It all started because Elsa was caught eating in Mak Ratih's kitchen. If Gina hadn't spread bad rumors about Elsa, it wouldn't have been like this. It is impossible for Rian to get angry while returning home with a blue-blue face due to a fistfight with a neighbor.

"I know it's not from Rian, Sa ..." The judge seemed to know what was on Elsa's mind right now. "I heard about this rumor a few days ago. I just ignored it. I think as time goes on people will forget. And I'm sure what people say about you stealing my mom's food, that's not true."

Elsa breathed a sigh of relief. At least one person believed in him. Although that person was not Rian, her husband, but it was okay. Elsa was happy enough.

It's just ... Elsa is a bit disappointed because Rian is not like Judge. Her husband was instead busy talking about self-esteem, rather than protecting Elsa. If only Rian could act mature and wise, Rian would not have to go home with explosive anger. Rian could have asked Elsa to speak with four eyes, then find a way out together.

"I'm sorry it disappointed you. I can't help you get Rian home. Maybe Rian wants to calm himself down." The judge gave a pause. "If you and I were not that close. But I always believed that you were a good person. There's no way we're stealing just because we're starving once."

Elsa took a longer breath. His gaze slowly descended downwards and then turned blank. I don't know, now Elsa can only resign. Angry is free. The present state of Elsa is the path of God. Elsa was just an ordinary human who could only plan.

"Why can you trust me, Kim? If Rian believes more in the same mouth of others ..." A wry smile appeared on Elsa's lips. "You don't have to bother comforting me. I'm used to being looked at by the neighbors' eyes."

"No, Sa. I speak from the bottom of my heart ..." The judge shook his head quickly, he hurriedly assured her that he was not lying to Elsa.

For a while, Elsa was pensive. He was hypnotized by the words and the way the Judge looked at him.

The deg!

A pair of Elsa's eyes blinked. It flashed in his mind that the Judge looked different than usual. Elsa shook her head, ignoring what was stopping by her head.

Amidst the silence of Elsa's porch, the atmosphere melted as the cell phone in Judge's trouser pocket rang. Elsa flinched, her daydreams broke and then she turned her eyes in the other direction.

"From Mom, Sa." The judge lifted the square object into the air showing a flaming screen. "I picked up Mom's phone first."

"Yes. Go ahead," timpal Elsa nodded.

The incoming call to his number came from Mak Ratih's number. The judge shifted the screen of his phone before sticking it next to his ear.

"Hello, assalamualaikum, ma'am ..." The judge greeted Mak Ratih in a soft voice.

"Yes, Kim. Hello," replied Mak Ratih. Different from the voice of the gentle Judge, Mak Ratih slightly raised his voice. Just know his name is old man. "Where are you, Kim? Don't you want to go home? It's already night. I'm worried you're why-why on the street."

Judge smiled. He stuck one hand in his pants pocket. "I'm not going anywhere, Mom. It's at Elsa's house. He's waiting for Rian to come home."

"Where is Rian?" There's a pause for two seconds. Mak Ratih said, "Go home, Kim. Don't go to Elsa's house as long as Rian's not home. I just don't want you to be the gossip of the villagers. Anyway, pity Elsa if she gets any more rumors."

Mangosteen judge. "Yes, Mom. The judge is going home. The judge told Elsa first, ma'am."

"Yes already, you be careful on the road huh, Kim ..."

"Good, Mom. The judge is coming home now. Ariston ..."

Mak Ratih replied, "Waalaikumsalam, Kim."

As the Judge raised the call from Mak Ratih, apparently Elsa had left the Judge inside to carry Faqih. The male baby wakes up and cries. But not long in Elsa's arms, Faqih immediately shut up and stopped crying.

"Why, Kim? Mak Ratih told you to go home, huh?" ask Elsa.

"Yes, Sa." The judge put the square thing back in his pants pocket. "You know yourself, Sa. Mom, how about when I get home. I think I'm still a toddler in her eyes."

Elsa laughed a little. "That's the sign Mak Ratih love you. Pengin spend time together as long as you go home." Mangosteen judge. "Here home, Kim. Mak Ratih must be worried waiting for you to arrive home."

The judge can't stay in Elsa's house for long. True said his mother, Elsa and Hakim could have been the victims of rumors from the evil mouth of the neighbors. The judge was not afraid, but the Judge thought of Elsa's feelings. The judge knew Elsa was a fine woman.

Even if the Judge wants Elsa to be his partner, the Judge is better off waiting for Elsa's widow, rather than having to snatch Elsa from Rian.

SERIATE....
