Rian stepped his foot into the house with a feeling that was still unfazed. He stood in the small living room with a breath that was still heard hunting. Both of his eyes were still burning as if his anger was still at the top. He turned around when he heard the footsteps that followed him and was followed by the sound of the door closing.
“Indeed to admit it's hard, huh? You're really unbelievable again, Elsa. I have not worked for now because it has not been accepted anywhere, but you should not take shortcuts too,” snapped Rian. His eyes glared at Elsa in front of him who now looked teary.
Since then the woman was yelled incessantly by her husband. Even though he was strong but in fact the slander sounded so cruel that it managed to hurt his heart. “I have to explain what else is the same to you, Mas? I've told you honestly that I never stole, but you trust the majority of the citizens who hate us more than I who always support you.
He wiped his tears with his right arm, but again his tears fell even more this time because it was so tight he felt. His mind was so deadlocked that he could do nothing but defend himself in front of Rian.
“You liar!” shout Rian.
Elsa shook her head quickly. “You are wrong, I do not match what you accuse,” is wrong.
“You always refuse to acknowledge. I'm tired of facing you, Sa. You don't know, that the neighbors scolded us and some made fun of us. I'm ashamed to hear that. You are only at home, so you do not know that we are the talk of many people,” said Rian.
Elsa felt her legs start to limp until the woman knelt down suddenly feeling that her strength was not enough to support her weight. Rian who saw Elsa began to limp no matter and immediately opened the door of the house to avoid a more devastating quarrel. Outside the neighbors there are still many who gather and busy indulging in the disgrace of others.
Seeing Elsa and the neighbors who always hooked her made her anger stronger. If only in this world there were no laws running, maybe Rian had hit them one by one so they could learn from what they were doing.
“Damn it, I don't want to be constantly like this. I need to find a way out of this prison. But how? I have no power over it.” Rian nodded along the way. He had no idea where his dirty feet would take him away, most importantly he left his house for a while so as not to hit Elsa.
While in another place, someone banged on the door of Mak Ratih's house quite tightly. Mak Ratih who is making sour vegetables in the kitchen, looks to immediately shrink the stove and walk towards the front with quick steps.
“Who, anyway, outside? Are guests important?” ask him to yourself.
Mak Ratih directly grabbed the doorknob and opened it later. He saw a middle-aged woman with a purple light and a long black hijab with a face look quite panicked. “Mak Ratih, has Mak Ratih found out lately?” suddenly tanyanya.
“What news? I'm not out yet because I have my son here, so I don't know anything. Is there any?” asked Mak Ratih curiously.
“That's loh, said Elsa's neighbors stole food at Mak Ratih's house. Now Elsa and her husband are fighting again because there is a neighbor who seems to complain to Rian, that his wife stole food at the house of Mak Ratih,” his brother whispered.
Mak Ratih looked surprised, his two eyes perfectly rounded. “Gosh, who accused Elsa like that? Since when has this rumor spread? Elsa never steals food in my house,” kilah Mak Ratih. His voice reflexively rose along with his progressing steps towards the terrace. As if he also deliberately raised his voice so that people who accidentally passed by heard what he said.
“I also don't believe completely in them, Mak. There is no way that innocent Elsa stole food at Mak Ratih's house. But seeing the behavior of such neighbors, made me finally come here to make sure. You said there was evidence where Elsa took Mak Ratih's food,” the woman's fight again.
He moved closer to Mak Ratih. It seems that the woman does not want to be involved in this business, but she also could not bear if Elsa became a bully-an neighbor.
Mak Ratih was shocked. He shook the woman's hand. “Who? Who saw him steal food in my house, huh? Tell Mak Ratih who it is,” pinta Mak Ratih firmly.
The woman put her mouth close to Mak Ratih's ear, then began to whisper. “Say the Gina caught Elsa taking food from Mak Ratih's house when she helped Mak Ratih make the cathering. At first the Gina just saw Elsa eat and thought it was natural, then the next Gina also saw Elsa bring food from the house of Mak Ratih,” he said very slowly.
Mak Ratih recalls the day Elsa helped him make the cathering, but he had no idea of it at all. Maybe when Elsa eats, Mak Ratih is buying salt. “I didn't know about the incident because it looked like I was out at the time. But why would Elsa eat at my house? After all I also did not ban it and that's his right because he helped me make cathering,” martial Mak Ratih.
The woman in front of him nodded in agreement to what Mak Ratih said. “That's how, Mak, now Elsa is with her husband so don't get along. The last time I saw Rian was leaving his house probably because he didn't want to see Elsa first.”.
“Many neighbors are gossiping, yes?” ask Mak Ratih, making sure once again.
“Many, Mak. Even they think that Rian also stole in the village next door.”
Mak Ratih shook his head with a sliced look. “I really can't bear Elsa because the neighbors here are really mean to her. They hate Elsa so much because she has nothing. I hope they all apologize to Elsa and make amends for everything they did because what they did was outrageous,” sis Mak Ratih.
The woman nodded again while rubbing Mak Ratih's shoulder. “May they want to do that yes, Mak.”
