THE SOUL OF MAYRA

THE SOUL OF MAYRA
66 (Night party)

Zikra commented on her smile as her black netra caught the figure she had been waiting for. The plain black girl who was given an outerwear in the form of a knee-length cardigan in dark brown lowered her head earlier. Meanwhile, his cousin at the side walked over with a smile of admiration.

Yeah, the two girls that go together are Mayra and Fara.

"Assalamualaik."

"Waalaikumsalam," Zikra replied still with a smile. "Thank God you two have come, I don't think so."

"Where is that cake, brother?" sahut Fara's. It seemed impossible to reject the invitation of a Zikra Hadid, a popular upperclassman as well as a school waketos.

"There are, beside you," Zikra said to Mayra.

Fara smiled amusedly. He glanced at Mayra who just looked down. Not refuting anything because there was no speech that he had to refute.

"Hi, can you join me?"

The three humans who were at the bar cafe table turned to the side. There was a girl with a knee-length dress who was smiling faintly.

Zikra Raut was just flat, his smile even slightly faded after Shifa's presence there. But Mayra and Fara did not let out their smiles.

"Can't do it, huh?" shifa said make sure. He also had a glance at Zikra who turned his eyes. To be honest, Shifa was made to grumble back then but she was indeed good at covering up her feelings.

"Bo-can, brother. No time, anyway?" said Fara kaku. Afraid of answering wrongly.

The four humans at the bar cafe table were now struck by silence and awkwardness. The more gripping it feels because Zikra who had been talking so much, suddenly silent a million languages.

Accidentally Fara put a little of his drinking water on the table until a kulacino appeared.

"EH—" Fara quickly took the tissue in her slimbag. "Sister Zikra, I'm going to the restroom, yeah. Titip Mayra's."

Zikra nodded and smiled faintly.

"By!" Mayra held Fara's hand making her master turn. It felt like Mayra wanted to say, until he condoned through the eyes.

"Yes already. Brother Zikra, do not become Mayra nitip, yes," said Fara only responded to Zikra's thin smile.

"I doubt your apology yesterday, Zik."

Zikra turned to Shifa with his super flat look. "You believe it or not, it's up to you" he said.

Shifa let out her breath on the spot. In the past, he and Zikra were so close and not this ugly. They both entertained and spent time together. Eventually, Zikra breaks up because Shifa is playing with fire behind her.

Zikra was disappointed at the time, but what could he do? It is better to take Shifa with a new one than to take it back but not to waste the possibility of Shifa playing with fire again.

"You sure like that, huh, same girl?" shifa said as she almost kept seeing Zikra's closeness to Mayra, but not the closeness that it seemed. There is a wide boundary between Zikra and Mayra.

"What do you really want to say to me? To the point!" cetus Zikra was upset. He did not even forgive Shifa. But, seeing it is the same as reminding of the past events. Hence, Zikra was upset.

"Nothing, Zikra. I just want to talk to you, after all this time we've been in the company." Shifa smiled sincerely.

Zikra threw away his gaze.

******

In the cafe toilet, Fara kept talking to Mayra about Zikra and Shifa. Although his speech along the Jagorawe toll still responded Mayra as short as a hyphen sentence.

"YOU'RE MAH MAY, NOT FUN!!!"

Mayra sighed. Her cousin screamed in the public toilet. Not ashamed if many think it strange? Strange, it's okay if crazy how?

"Udah Ra, don't talk about people. You don't want to know," Mayra's reprimand was spurned by Fara.

Tonight's event was filled ninety percent by students who graduated High School. Ten percent of underclassmen and outsiders—maybe they are the special some students/i who graduated—if not special time bother invited?
