About two years have passed since I was born into this world.

my legs and waist were strong enough to support my legs.

I began to understand the language and writing in this world.

I'm also confused what should I do right now, studying? A sport?

I started thinking about what I could do as a baby.

I went around the house once more and looked for something interesting, and I found a room containing books.

I wonder if my mom and dad are reading? Seeing them both seems like they don't really like to read.

But looking at the books neatly lined up on the shelves really amazed me.

There are so many books here but I'm too short to pick up a book on the top shelf. So I just picked up a book that I could get.

There are three books that interest me and these three books are on the bottom shelf so I can pick them up and keep them as I please.

The first book is titled

⟨The Legend of Dark Knight⟩

It was a fairy tale book that told the story of a boy born to the mistress of a king. He and his mother were exiled and abandoned but one day when the boy turned 14, his mother was killed by someone sent by his father. And from there he became strong with black power and began to kill his father and all who had relations with his father.

It was my first and favorite book. A book about revenge. Although there are a lot of adult scenes like***, murder and more it is a very exciting story.

I don't want to suffer the same fate as the main character in this story but I want to have the power like the main character in this story.

The second book is

⟨Magic guide⟩

This is the book I used to learn about magic. It starts from the way magic is used and how to overcome it and some explanations about magic attributes.

The magic attribute has eight types namely fire, water, earth, wind, lightning, ice and two fairly rare attributes namely light and darkness.

According to the book, magic is already a part of the world itself. And humans only have one attribute of their bodies, no humans do not have magic attributes.

Humans who have two attributes are very rare and there is a theory that says if there are humans who can use magic elements more than two then he has a relationship with a god or spirit.

There is also a way of knowing what kind of attributes we have without having to use a crystal ball.

That is, I simply close my eyes and concentrate, so I can figure out what kind of magic element I have.

I followed as the book said and there were three colors shining in my head.

Red, yellow and black.

Red which means fire, Yellow which means lightning and black which means darkness.

I was quite surprised by this attribute that I have, not only fire and lightning, I can also use the dark magic attribute like the lead in the story ⟨The Legend of Dark Knight⟩.

Luckily for me, not only did I have a relationship with a god but also I was able to become like the lead in a fairy tale.

First, in order to be like the main cast in the fairy tale. I have to hide my power.

The third book is a book

A book that describes the monsters that are all over the world and how to deal with them.

Putting aside the book ⟨The Legend of Dark Knight⟩, the other two books are books that I should study.

To be a knight of darkness I must not be ignorant.

I tried several skills from within the book according to the magic attributes I had. It seems that I can't use skills that are other magic elements other than those three magic attributes.

I tried to cast water magic but nothing happened, and I immediately concluded that I could not use other magic attributes.

When reading the book ⟨Magic Guide⟩ without me knowing it is already night and the sun has set.

I really focused until I forgot the time, I saved the books back into place and went down to the dining room while carrying the book ⟨Monster, Ecology and Weakness⟩. The reason if I bring the book ⟨The Legend of Dark Knight⟩ will be very dangerous especially the content does not seem to be for children aged 2 years and if I bring the book ⟨Magic Guide⟩ they will know that if the content is not for children aged 2 years I secretly learned magic.

I pull up the chair, put the book on the table and sit on the chair. My father and mother looked at me with a smile, at once I was confused by the meaning of that smile.

Do they know I'm learning magic? Nope, no. I can't be prejudiced against them.

"Ren, do you like it in the study room?" My mother asked with a smile and a cheerful tone.

As usual, she looks very active and cheerful. And dad looked at me like his face said 'I'm proud of you son' so.

"Yes, I like it."

"Kum."

"Son, I know that you like books a lot, but can you read them? Maybe I can read it to you."

Dad looks very attentive. Well, not that I don't like it but somehow my chest feels warm. Could this be called compassion?

"No, I can."

"Is that so? All right, if there's something you don't understand you can ask me."

Dad looks so proud of himself, I think he wants to look cool in front of me.

Take it easy, Dad, you're so cool.

After finishing dinner, mom and dad went to their room while Nia was doing the dishes in the kitchen.

And this is the perfect time, for me to be a knight of darkness like myself all we need first is a costume.

For the costume must be black, a color that cannot be seen in dark places.

I went into the warehouse where unused items were stored. Right in the corner of the room there is a fairly large chest.

It's so dirty and dusty, seeing the lid slightly open I think the key's broken. I opened the chest and dust came out from inside to make me cough.

Inside there were a lot of used items and clothes, I took out all those used clothes. Some had already been damaged and torn, so I separated the clothes that could be worn and those that were not.

There were 3 clothes that could still be used and it just so happened that one of them was a black robe.

Although this is too big for me but more important is that it can be used.

And there's something I want to try. I put everything back in the crate except this black robe. And I immediately took it into the study room.
