The road to the capital

My brother, Rei Orion and his two friends are going back to the capital. Where they are currently attending school there.

Regulus Academy, a school where students learn about magic or how to ride a sword. Thanks to Olivia, she gathered a lot of information for me.

According to the information, many students are outstanding after graduating from there. Some become great adventurers, magic teachers, royal knights and some even become the right hand of the king.

But there are also those who just want to live freely by going to the countryside and living happily.

And for that case, I was hanging out with my whole family and there were also two of her friends - sister Bella and Shiori.

I was digesting the information that my sister had just said about my parents.

“So my father was the king's sword and was known as a hero. Mother is a royal witch and once befriended the queen then brother is now a sword saint, is that it?”

“Y-Yes so.. hehe.”.

So it's not just me who's hiding something?! Don't tell me that Nia is too?

“Ren, don't be mad. We are not unwilling to tell you but we do not know the exact time.”

So you want me to be a child born in a country but my neighborhood is not like the countryside. I feel mentally tired.

Big brother rubbed my head that was looking down, I looked towards him and he smiled at me.

“So that way. Do you want to come to the capital with me, Ren?”

My brother offered me to come to the capital with him. Obviously I wanted to leave but I'm sure both my parents wouldn't be coming along for some reason.

And for some reason, it made me have a brilliant idea and I had a big smile in my heart.

“Alright, I'll come with brother.”

“Good.”

“But I want dad, mom and Nia to come with me too.”

After I said that, the atmosphere became silent for a moment. Nia didn't seem to be bothering about it, but both of my parents pretended not to hear me.

“So mom and dad won't come. Then I will go again and will not return.”

“Alright, I go.”

“If Ren is already like that, mom can only obey.”

I said "Plan success!” in my mind. It was something I didn't understand why my father and mother didn't want to go to the capital so I thought about getting them to go and find out why.

We sat in the horse carriage that my brother used. A while ago I repaired a train that was already half destroyed and it took a long time. Dad couldn't fix it but he was very surprised because I could fix it even though I was holding the tool for the first time.

“Since childhood Ren always just made mom surprised.”

“Young master is really mysterious.”

Mom and Nia felt dizzy with me which was unusual.

“How do you do it?”

“Stop it, I just feel like I can do it.”

The sister also felt dizzy and held her head.

Both of his friends just smiled awkwardly at us. I don't know why they're holding their heads just because of what I do.

The trip to the capital is quite far and it will take 3 days to get there but I am sitting confused on my shoulder.

“Why are you coming with me, Yukari?”

Yukari was resting her head on my shoulder happily.

“Why with that? Can't I come with you?”

“I didn't say you shouldn't come just..”.

“Quietly I've spoken to my parents.”

Free, I can't tell him anything. I was confused as to why he was coming with me. Even though her parents allowed her but still she would be far away from her parents, right? To him who was underage going to a faraway place without being accompanied by his parents it felt like he was much more mature than me.

“He really sticks with you like glue huh?”

“Yeah, that's because Yukari was my precious first friend.”

As I said that Yukari's face turned red again.

“Hei! Can you not say such a thing with a flat face?!”

Mother, Nia and her two friends brother laughed and the journey was still a long way away.
