The Shackles of Love The Single Heir

The Shackles of Love The Single Heir
Chapter 5.

At 9 p.m., a silver-colored sedan entered the bar gate at high speed. Dion, who was driving the car, almost hit a couple who were walking towards the parking lot. It certainly made some eyes scream hysterically.

Aware of the danger he had just created, Dion jumped down from his car. The black shirt he wore looked tangled, even the look of his face looked irregular.

"Are you guys okay? Sorry for my carelessness just now. I'm really sorry."

Dion bent his face with a voice that sounded trembling. The guilt did not escape the look in his eyes that looked so sad.

"It's okay, we're fine. Next time be careful when driving. Your carelessness did not only endanger others, but also yourself!" said a man.

Luckily, Dion slammed his steering wheel in the opposite direction. A little late, I don't know what will happen next.

Dion rubbed his face violently, his vision began to twitch and blur. His chest felt tight until his breathing began to falter.

I don't know where and what happened to Dion tonight. When viewed from his body language and facial expression, it seemed like he had just faced a considerable problem entwining his life.

"Oh my God, what did I just do? I almost took two innocent lives simultaneously. What the hell happened to me? I shouldn't vent my anger while driving." Dion blamed herself.

The night passed so quickly, the morning sun began to shine brightly all over the world.

The day had already shown at 9am, Maura was smiling happily. With Bik Sam's hand gently down, a kiss landed on the back of the woman's hand.

"Be careful, Non, say Bibik greetings to Grandma. If possible, bring him here. Bibik misses him altogether."

Bik Sam waved his hand, his eyes glazed over the departure of Maura who wanted to visit her grandmother's place.

Two medium-sized suitcases have been entered into the trunk of the car, plus a brown bag belonging to Mr. Anto that is neatly arranged in there.

Mr. Anto closed the trunk of his car, within seconds it came out of the gate and gradually disappeared from Bik Sam's sight.

Long stay abroad does not make Maura forget about his origin. Even though her mother is gone, she still has a grandmother that she loves very much.

"Crings, crings...,"

The phone inside Maura's bag rang. The beautiful girl smiled brightly as she looked at the screen of her mobile phone that was still shaking.

"Hello Well,"

Maura greeted Doni shortly after the phone call.

"Hello baby, how are you, son? Are you going to Grandma's?" ask Doni who has known about Maura's plans since last night.

"Maura is fine Well, there was Pak Anto who was guarding Maura. You don't have to worry, now we're on our way to Grandma's house." said Maura.

"Have fun there, don't forget to say hello to Grandma!" doni's message to her mother-in-law.

"Yes Dad, I'm calm. Then Maura's phone closes first. Later we will connect again after Maura arrives at Grandma's house." said Maura.

"Okay, kid, I happen to have a business client coming along too."

"Tip, tut..."

The phone connection was cut off shortly after Maura pressed the red button on her phone screen.

Two hours had Maura and Pak Anto down the road to the plantation owned by his late grandfather. The road is quite challenging, making Mr. Anto can not drive his car at high speed.

Elsewhere, Dion was saying goodbye to his friend Diki. The handsome man was carrying a black backpack on his back.

"As long as I'm gone, this bar is your responsibility. Don't let anyone make a mess in this place! If anyone asks you where I'm going, just tell them you don't know anything! Including the fucking woman."

Dion grabbed Diki's shoulder and patted his back slowly. No one knows what makes him want to stay away for a while.

"All right, I get it. Take good care of yourself!"

Diki returned Dion's embrace, receiving the trust that Dion happily entrusted.

The day had already shown at 3 pm, Maura was still sleeping so soundly. He did not even realize that the car driven by Mr. Anto was parked in his grandmother's yard.

"Non Maura, Non, let's get up! We've arrived."

Mr. Anto's voice pressed Maura's eardrum, he opened his eyes slowly while rubbing it with his palm. The beautiful dream that accompanied his journey was dissolved instantly.

"What's up, sir, why stop?" asked Maura who was still half conscious.

"Well, didn't Non want to go to Grandma's house?" said Mr. Anto who was confused to answer Maura's question.

With eyes that had not been opened perfectly, Maura turned her head towards the car window. There is a beautiful sight to the eye. The chirping of the singing bird began to sound clearly in his ears.

"We have arrived, why did Mr. Anto not say it from earlier?" cetus Maura's.

"Well, how come you're guilty, Father?"

Mr. Anto's face grumbled at Maura's words, wanting him to be angry but it was impossible for him to do so.

From a distance, an old woman was seen pacing back and forth in a garden. Although his skin was already wrinkled, but his body was still very strong doing his activities.

Maura jumped down from the car, eagerly running up to the old woman who was busy harvesting strawberries in the spacious garden.

"grandma,"

Maura shouted out loudly, her pair of arms wide open and tightly wrapped around her grandmother's body. It just makes Nek Ida surprised instead of playing.

"Maura, grandson. Is this really you dear?" The wrinkled old lady's cheeks were wet for a moment.

"Yes Nek, this is Maura Grandma's favorite granddaughter. Does Grandma not remember Maura anymore?"

Maura released her hand from Nek Ida's body. His hands shriveled and he kissed her repeatedly. The brown eyeball looked at the face of his grandmother who was no longer young.

"Why not tell Grandma first if you want to come here?"

Nek Ida touched her grandson's face, repeatedly pinching Maura's cheeks until the pretty girl's face reddened like a boiled shrimp.

"No, don't keep pinching!"

Maura held off Nek Ida's hand and hugged the old body back tightly.

It was getting dark, Maura clasped her grandmother's arm. Carrying the old body until it arrived at the house where his mother was born.

Nothing had changed from that house, all was still the same as the last time Maura visited the estate.
