Chapters 10.

"The girl's name is Maura, the son of the late Bu Sinta, the only granddaughter of Nek Ida who is none other than Mother's current employer."

"He lives in Jakarta, he is also the only child of Doni Hardiansyah, a successful businessman who is very respected among other great business people."

"A few years ago, he experienced a terrible tragedy. It traumatized him, even he almost ended his life because he could not bear the mental burden he was carrying. Until in the end, his father sent him to study abroad." explained Miko at length.

Dion gasped in shock with his eyes piercing violently, shutting off his still-lit cigarette in his hand. Then walked over to Miko who was still standing on the side of the fence. The explanation that came out of Miko's mouth just now was still not able to be digested perfectly.

"What happened to him at that time?" ask Dion who is getting curious.

"That's enough!" cut Dion to stop Miko's speech.

At once Miko looked confused, again Dion immediately cut off his unfinished speech.

"What happened to Brother Dion, didn't you want to know everything. Why did you tell me to stop?" ketus Miko was so irritated.

"No need to continue anymore! Now I understand!" answer Dion.

"Yes already then. Oh yes, the weather here is getting colder. Is there food inside?" miko asked, her stomach began to rumble cold activity that pierced to the bone.

"Come in, lots of food in the fridge. But cook it yourself, there are no servants here!" sahut Dion's.

After Miko died, Dion laid his body on a long bench. His eyes stared at the ceiling of the veranda as the raindrops that were getting nightly descended more and more.

From Miko's explanation just now, Dion was finally able to understand Maura's true state. There was nothing wrong with her, but it was the trace of the girl's past that made Maura always afraid to face her.

Slowly, Dion tried to close his eyes. His body was so tired that it didn't take long for him to fall asleep.

In the morning, Miko woke up early. He went into the bathroom and cleaned his body.

After taking a shower, he rushed into the kitchen to make breakfast for himself and Dion.

After everything was done, he went out to the veranda and woke Dion up and took her to breakfast together.

After breakfast, Miko said goodbye to Dion. He had to go home as soon as possible because today he had promised to help Nek Ida in the garden.

But no matter what Dion is thinking at this time, he decides to go with Miko to Nek Ida's house and wants to help her garden.

Arriving at Nek Ida's house, Miko entered the house followed by Dion who walked behind her. They both found Nek Ida eating breakfast at the dinner table.

Miko grabbed Nek Ida's hand and kissed the back of her hand. Dion did the same thing to make Nek Ida smile happily.

"Dion, it's you, when are you coming home? And you're Miko, how can you all come at the same time?" ask Nek Ida to find out.

"Yes Nek, this is Dion. Dion has been here for a few days, just today Dion had a visit. It just so happened last night that Miko was at home, so this kid invited Dion to play here!" sahut Dion carved a smile on his face.

"Woi, since when did I bring Brother Dion here instead of the older brother...,"

"Mmmm, um,"

Miko's words stopped as Dion closed his mouth which was almost a slip. It made Nek Ida chuckle at the childish behavior of the two of them.

"Hahahaha, enough Miko, Dion! What the fuck are you guys." said Nek Ida with a laugh so loose.

Hearing the commotion that was happening out there, Maura was curious. She rushed out of her room for fear that something might happen to her elderly grandmother.

Upon arriving at the dining room, Maura's footsteps suddenly came to a halt. What he was thinking was not in line with what was happening. The noise he heard turned out to be just the laughter of some people causing a commotion.

Nek Ida fell silent, as did Dion and Miko. In fact, Dion quickly released his hand which still stuffed Miko's mouth. Instantly, the atmosphere in the dining room was silent again.

"What's going on here?" maura asked with her hard-to-understand gaze.

Everyone was silent, no one dared to make a sound. Except for Nek Ida who was the elder in the house.

"Dear maura, are you awake? Come here, sit down with Grandma!" bring Nek Ida.

Maura nodded her head, she stepped over to Nek Ida and sat down next to him. However, his eyes were slightly disturbed to see the foreign man standing before him.

"Miko, Dion, what are you looking at? Come sit with us!" added Nek Ida.

Dion began to be awkward, Maura's extremely sharp eyes made him go awry. He was eager to reject Nek Ida's invitation, but he also did not want to make the grandmother offended.

"What did Dion think? Come sit! When else can we have breakfast together like this?" added Miko while pulling a chair.

Miko was so free, she didn't even want to bother with Maura's gaze. Fuck that girl to be mad or not. The important thing is that his stomach is full.

"You eat, I'm full!" sahut Dion subtly refused.

Nek Ida glanced at the man, her countenance slightly disappointed. It was not usual for Dion to behave like that in front of him.

"Why is the food in this house bad?" ask Nek Ida.

"No, Grandma, it's not that. It's just...,"

"Then sit down, there is no reason to refuse!" added Nek Ida forcing.

Inevitably, like it or not, Dion was finally forced to obey Nek Ida's request and sit face to face with Maura.

After breakfast, they were all getting ready to leave for the garden. Dion promised to help Nek Ida today. His face looked so excited.

Unlike Maura, she looked very upset. His eyes looked like an atomic bomb that could explode at any moment. Her sour face was clearly adorning her beautiful face.

"Don't look at Brother Dion like that. Be careful, later Sis Maura can get entangled!" miko whispers teasing Maura.

Maura walked first leaving the 3 people behind her, she did not like to see strangers among them.
