The Shackles of Love The Single Heir

The Shackles of Love The Single Heir
Chapter 48.

There was no reply from Maura, Dion turned on his car engine. Now the luxury car drove away from the restaurant and into the highway.

Time and again Dion glanced at Maura, but the wife's reaction remained the same. Maura was still pouting at the glass window that was by her side.

Before long, Maura's eyes caught several carts lined up by the roadside. At that moment his lips again made a sound.

"Stop right here!" pinta Maura without looking at her husband at all.

Hearing that, Dion also reduced the speed of his car and pulled over in a fairly roomy place. He looked back at Maura shortly after turning off his car engine.

"Why stop here?" ask Dion curious.

"My stomach is hungry, I just want to eat here!" maura answered ketus complete with her sour face.

Maura went down first without caring for Dion, then approached towards the meatball cart. That made Dion even more confused considering that his wife said his appetite was gone. Dion let out a long sigh and threw it away violently, then came down following his wife.

"Bang, the meatball is 1!" pinta Maura, she was sitting on a plastic bench with her flat face.

Hearing that, Dion sighed again. But this time his breathing was heavier than before. Maura could have ordered meatballs only for herself without thinking about her husband's starving stomach.

"No, not 1 but 2!" added Dion, he was sitting next to Maura.

"Ok, wait a minute!" answer kang meatballs.

Maura was once again a duckling towards her husband. Even until the meatballs in his bowl ran out, Maura made no sound at all.

After Dion paid for the meatball, Maura now moved to the cart next to her. This time there is Padang satay with a very tempting aroma. Instantly, Maura's annoyance turned to hunger until she wanted to taste everything. It made Dion frown while scratching his head that did not itch at all.

"Yes, the satellite is 1!" pinta Maura, he was sitting on a wooden bench available there.

"2 Uda, not 1!" continued Dion, he certainly does not want to lose to his wife.

Although Dion was actually still confused to see Maura's change in attitude, he tried to understand it. It is better to follow his wife's will than to argue and cause quarrels.

After devouring the satay on his plate, Maura got up and left Dion alone. He got into the car considering his stomach was so full that his eyes began to sleepy.

Dion breathed a heavy sigh. After paying the satay, he followed Maura into the car. Instantly, his smile floated to find his wife who was already asleep on his stool. Without thinking, Dion stepped on the gas pedal and drove his car home.

Upon arrival in front of the house, Maura woke up and went down first. Again, Dion could only sigh and throw it away violently.

Maura was already in the room. After changing his clothes, he threw his body on the bed. His annoyance and drowsiness had melded into one, so he could not bear to continue his sleep again.

"Darling, what's going on with you exactly? Speak up if I'm wrong, but don't leave me like this!" lamented Dion, he lay down beside Maura. His hand gently stroked his wife's head affectionately.

"Get out of here, no need to care so much for me, your girlfriend is waiting for you! Don't you feel sorry for her who's almost crazy thinking about you?" maura replied with her eyes tightly closed.

Hearing that, Dion glared at his shocked eyes. No matter who Maura was referring to, she had no other woman in her life other than the wife she loved so much.

"Darling, are you crazy? Whose girlfriend?" dion was confused.

Dion knitted his eyebrows together, there was a sense of annoyance in his heart hearing the words of the wife who seemed to regret having married him. But he also wanted to laugh at the confession of his wife who wanted to break someone's mouth.

Dion then sat down and lifted Maura's body from his bed. Now the two face each other, but Maura bend her face because she is still reluctant to look at her husband.

"Darling, look at me first!" pinta Dion held up his wife's chin until they met each other.

"I'm tired, let me sleep!" ketus Maura while laying down his body again.

"Wait a minute!" Dion quickly restrains his wife's body and takes her into his arms.

Dion rubbed his wife's head gently nonstop, then kissed the tip of Maura's head fondly.

"Do you regret marrying me?" dion asked withstanding the disappointment in his heart.

"Initially not, but now it is." Maura sat on her husband's chest.

"Tell me then! What makes you regret marrying me?" ask Dion to find out.

"The woman came to me, she even bravely grabbed my hair. It's good, my dad never did that to me. Who her? If he wants you, why not just go near you. Why should I be the prey?" obviously Maura grumbled.

"Who is that woman?" ask Dion curious.

"Where do I know, think to yourself! If not your girlfriend, how could she dare to attack me." Maura said.

For a moment Dion fell silent on Maura's words just now. But he was very sure that the woman was Giska. Who else would a crazy woman be able to do that if it wasn't her.

"So you believe she's my boyfriend?" ask Dion.

"Let's know, where do I know." Maura replied as she shrugged her shoulders.

"Darling, listen to me! I have no other woman but you. You're the only woman in my life after my mother. If you really love me, you can definitely feel it." explains Dion.

"Lies," Maura annoyed.

"How many times do I have to tell you. Have my words not convinced you enough? Do I have to die first let you believe me?" dion was at a loss for words.

"No, don't talk like that!" maura replied, although her heart was very upset but she probably wanted her husband's death.

"You are the first and last woman I love, forever it will remain that way. If I had ever been in a relationship with another woman, it would have been just to treat my loneliness. There's no feeling" Dion assured his wife.

Hearing her husband's explanation, Maura also carved a smile on her face. Now his heart was relieved, then hugged him tightly.

"You take it easy, I'll make a calculation with that crazy woman. How dare he grab my beloved wife's hair" Dion said, fondly stroking Maura's hair.

Hearing that, Maura chuckled. He told Dion everything without anything being covered up. Instantly, Dion chuckled at his wife's story. He did not expect the wife to be so brave against the mad woman. It turned out that Maura was not as weak as she had thought all along.

"Well, that's dong. It was his new wife Dion Adriano, a strong and tough woman. Never be afraid of such a cunning woman! One more thing, never doubt my loyalty to you!" dion said, and Maura smiled.
