At exactly 3 p.m., Dion's car was parked in the garage. He entered the house with a lethargic face, even his eyes were still flushed with the tears that had been wanting to spill.
Arriving in the living room, Dion found Maura sitting watching television. He approached, then hugged his wife tightly. His body trembled like it was shaken by a massive earthquake. It made Maura confused, she was worried something happened to her husband.
"Sir Dion, what's going on?" maura asked her brows.
Dion did not say, the clear details were finally spilled into the wife's shoulder.
"Sir Dion, don't shut up! Tell me what happened, don't scare me!" maura urged with a trembling voice, she almost cried seeing the state of her husband.
Hearing that, Dion immediately let go of his embrace, then got up from his seat. He grabbed Maura's hand and led her up towards their room.
Both are now in the room. Maura sat down on the sofa, while Dion lay down and made Maura's thigh as her cushion. With his eyes still wet, he stared fixedly at the wife's face softly.
"If one day I leave you without any news, what will you do?" ask Dion.
Maura glared at her eyes in shock, her pulse as if stopping for a moment. Dion's question just made her tears well up her eyelids.
"Sir Dion, what are you saying? You want to leave me?" maura asked softly, the clear details finally fell right on her husband's face.
"Don't cry! I just asked." explained Dion, he wiped Maura's cheek with his hand.
"What kind of question is it, if behind how. What would you do if I left you?" maura replied with a question anyway, she then pushed roughly Dion's head and got up from the sofa.
Dion got up and blocked Maura's footsteps who was about to leave the room. He hugged the wife tightly, then kissed the tip of Maura's head fondly.
"Don't get mad! I'll die if you leave me." said Dion in a heavy voice.
Hearing that, Maura could not help but hold back her tears. His sobs broke all over the room. Likewise with Dion who could not hold himself back, the sobs of the two are mutually unpretentious to each other.
"Here, don't cry anymore! As long as I'm still breathing, it's not going to happen" Dion said, letting go of his arms. Wiping Maura's cheek with his hand, Maura did the same.
After the cries of the two died down, Dion again brought Maura to sit on the sofa. This time Dion held his wife on both thighs.
"What's going on, why can Dion talk like that?" maura asked for an explanation.
"There's so much you don't know about me, I don't know how to explain it to you. Even I've used dirty means just to make you my wife" Dion replied admitting the truth.
Again Maura glared her eyes at Dion's confession, she wondered what dirty her husband had done to get her. He really should know all that.
Dion let out a long sigh, then threw it away violently. He told me everything he had done to Darma and David a few months ago. All he told me without anything covered, it was time Maura knew the truth.
"David loved you a long time ago, but I came to destroy his dream in an instant. She wasn't wrong, she didn't leave you at the wedding. But I'm the mastermind behind it all, I made it impossible to come. I'm sorry, I've ruined everything." explained Dion with teary eyes.
Whether Maura could accept it or not, Dion returned it to his wife. At least he had dared to admit the mistake he had made.
"Why did Dion do all that?" asked Maura curiously.
"I hate Darma, that hate only becomes more when I know you're getting married to her son. I want him destroyed as badly as he destroyed it. This was a sin that he had to bear, even all of this had not sufficiently released my heartache on him. I want him to suffer even more from this." said Dion with glowing red eyes.
Maura gulped her saliva roughly, she did not expect her husband to also hold a past grudge to someone. It reminded her of the pain she had felt before.
"So Brother Dion married me just to avenge that?" maura asked exalting her tone.
"No dear, this has nothing to do with it. I married you because I love you, it just so happened that your future husband was him." explained Dion.
Hearing that explanation, Maura breathed a sigh of relief. He had thought that Dion married him only as a tool to avenge him to Darma.
"Can I believe those words?" maura asked to convince herself.
Dion grabbed Maura's head and stuck it right on her chest. He wanted his wife to hear the sound of his heart beating quickly and find out the truth there.
"Since you guys sat at the bar that night, I've been quietly watching you from a distance. Tomorrow we meet again at the mall parking lot, you dodge and leave. And in the village, I was so happy to see you there for the first time. You're avoiding me again. I was confused thinking about you at that time. I think there's something wrong with me that makes you afraid to see me. After Miko told me all about you, I understood. But you didn't give me a chance to get close to you. And when you cried in Miko's arms that night, I was really angry. That's why that morning I didn't look at you at all, but when you waved your hand and said my name with these sweet lips, I was very happy and eager to hold you back then. But I'm powerless to do it. Even when I found out you were engaged, my chest felt claustrophobic. By the time I found out who your future husband was, I began to plan well. Even though the way I got you wrong, I don't care." Dion explained at length.
Hearing the husband's explanation, Maura's heart was filled to the point of her tears. He had not expected Dion to have harbored that feeling since the first time they met. He drowned his face in the chest of the field and hugged it tightly.
"I'm sorry for everything, I'm insensitive. I don't know how to love and be loved. I've always been afraid of dealing with any man, not just with Dion's sister." isak Maura a hiccup.
"No need to apologize, I understand. From now on, learn to love me. That's all I expect from you, nothing else!" pinta Dion, she then kissed Maura's forehead fondly.
Maura nodded slowly, she did not care about what Dion had done before. It doesn't matter to him anymore, it's all happening. And now she has accepted her husband wholeheartedly.
"Then what makes Brother Dion hold such deep hatred for his father David?" ask Maura to find out.
Dion sighed heavily, then lifted Maura's body and sat her down on the sofa. He then got up and picked up a small piece of paper in the drawer.
He showed the paper to Maura and told her everything clearly. Soon, her tears fell back into divorce. He could not help but hold back the feeling that was raging in his heart. Not even Maura could hear her husband's story. She shed her tears and hugged her husband tightly.
