Chapter 9: What a Hell of a Shot

The strategy used by General Alexei was actually very good when developed further, Germanica military officials wanted to use that strategy to finish Francia and end this war

With the mobility of the fast ground troops accompanied by artillery fire that made the enemy unable to get out of the trench, when the troops were near then the fire was stopped

With this strategy, the number advantage is important because the troops will fight close

The sound made the entire fleet surprised, apparently none of them saw this destroyer

"Captain Archen, what are you doing!?" ask the admiral over the radio

"Shoot the target, sir," I replied

The shot hit a section of the nonna destroyer but was not fatal, I immediately mocked Otto's shooting ability because of it

"Whatis that? I can destroy a target in one shot" I sneered

"Whisper! then come down here and shoot yourself!!" answerable

But indeed he was a good shooter, in fact this distance was so far that the entire fleet was not aware of it

Of course the enemy ship that felt invisible was panicking, I could see it with my previous ability. Their captain hurried to order the entire ship for a combat formation

"Yosh Otto, fire one more time,"

"Understand sir, shoot in 3..2..1..."

This was the last bullet the enemy could receive, after which their ship fell to the bottom of this dark Baltic sea

"Awe-inspiring shot from you Otto, you're the first Kriegsmarine to sink Nonna's ship,"

Otto's sense of humor is also similar to mine, he also does not look at feathers when talking. He talks to anyone like that

One ship sank, 49 more. The Federation should not waste ships like this, or the Baltic sea would belong to Germanica

The Baltic Sea is directly adjacent to the North Pole making the weather there continue to be cold whatever the season. But because it's the right season, the hard ice covering the sea begins to melt

But in one region, this ice never melts perfectly so even this season there are still large ice islands in the area. This region is called an ice ghost because many ice islands floating there are like ghosts that never disappear

This kind of thing scares admiral heh? But it was possible that we were ambushed, so we were tasked to enter first

The Ice Ghost region was beyond my expectations, I had thought that this region was just like the ocean with just a few ice islands everywhere. However, this was more like a river flow that branched out very much

There is not enough room for two ships to walk side by side, but at some points there is also a wide surface like a lake

Baltic sea access from the British sea is through a strait that is quite large and shallower than both of these seas, therefore the strait can be completely covered with ice when winter arrives

In the middle of this strait is called the ghostly region of ice where the ice never melts in any season, hopefully we can pass through this region without facing the Federation fleet
