Chapter 5: Luck! a little bit of Miracle... but mostly Luck!!

Earlier at the naval command center, an old man who had the rank of general opened the meeting with bad news

"The British sent both of their legendary Battleships to the East to block our troops in Dacia"

Shortly before Archen's arrival, Germanica made a landing on the coast of West Dacia. This force was tasked with besieging the Dacian army along with the main Germanica forces coming from the South

But with the departure of these two Battleships, their plans could have been ruined

"Therefore, Admiral Doss, can your fleet stop them?", asked the general

"Okay General, I'll bring a fleet to stop them,"

But the incident was not as the General had hoped, the return of a reconnaissance aircraft in the British sea that brought bad news was the beginning

Admiral Doss brought 2 Battleship and 3 Destroyer, these 5 ships should be able to bring victory to the Germanica. But there was an unexpected move from Britain

Both legendary British Battleship ships have left their original positions very far, but that is not the worst news. There is still one more bad news, the British fleet has filled the position of the two ships

It seems that the distance between the two fleets was too close to carry out the retreat command, a fierce battle was fought in the middle of the British sea

"What!!? The British ship reached that point!?", said the General in shock

If it's like this, Dacia can't handle Germanica. It takes time to re-plan

"Is there a ship near there?", the General asked in despair

"Sir, a Destroyer is anchored in the waters near Dacia,"

"Send them a message to survive,"

But the message until a few seconds before the British Battleship ship fired, a short message read, '2 Brits got there' it makes the captain also confused

Fortunately he was also looking in the same direction that Archen had seen before, the captain saw a point he believed to be the Brits in question

"Prepare to fight!!", he shouted

Then the announcement was given to the entire ship to take a combat stance. Seconds after that, the first shot of the British Battleship was missed right in front of Archen

Inside his cabin, Archen and the others were shaken by the enemy's attack. The shots that the British fired were all nothing to hit the ship Archen

Destroyers who included small ships certainly have good maneuverability than the Battleship owned by Britain, but their attacks are also more deviated again because they shoot while avoiding Brits attack

"Wait a minute.... Where's my broom!!?"

Archen left his broom outside the cabin during Brits first shot, he did not think long and immediately ran into the cabin

He immediately thought about the anger of the janitor leader to himself if this was all done

In Archen's mind, "What!!? You left that precious broom?? Do you know how valuable that broom is!!? Your life alone can be replaced for free, but the broom must be replaced with money", he imagined the words

The head of the janitor was very appreciative of the goods on the ship, several times Archen was scolded for damaging trivial items

Archen shook his head erasing the shadow from within his mind, then he stood up and decided to take the broom he left behind

He ran out of the cabin as his ship was bobbing due to the large waves formed by Brits bullets, Archen was worried because the broom he left was not at the location where he left it

But his worry did not last long because as he looked around, his broom only shifted a few meters

"Huh, thankfully", Archen took the broom and was grateful to forget the battle that was going on

When he looked ahead, a bullet twice the size of Archen's Destroyer could see Archen advancing slowly. Instantly the time went slower and Archen was still able to think as usual but his movement also slowed down

Archen continued to observe the bullet which turned out to lead to the command tower, he was immediately scared and immediately returned to normal time. The command tower was the part hit by Brits' bullets, the bullet blast destroyed the command tower from the inside and broke the chain of command on that ship

The falling debris forced Archen to avoid it, and he remembered his friend Nimtz

"Nimtz!!", Archen ran up a nearby staircase leading to the command tower

"Nimtz!!", he finally reached the command tower and saw the situation there

Completely chaotic, all the officers lay helpless on the floor as well as on the seats where they were sitting. Archen found Nimtz lying behind a leaning wall

"Hey Nimtz, wake up!! Don't you want to see my ambition fulfilled?? Hey!"

It was all in vain because all the officers there had died from the Brits bullet blast

"Archen von Kageneck huh?", someone near Archen and Nimtz suddenly woke up

"Uhuk~ this war has been going on for too long. ever since I saw you in the recruitment tent, I don't know why I can be relieved for a moment"

"A feeling like that I once had when I won a battle first, I feel that with that then the war will end soon,"

"But somehow this feeling of relief is a bit different, seeing you is like. That's right, when I saw you, I felt that the war was over and it made me very relieved"

"Therefore, Archen von Kageneck, I give up my office with this ship. May you put an end to this never-ending war" the captain's last words were accompanied by the surrender of his hat as a symbol of his office and his ship.

Archen was unable to react, he just froze. It turns out that there are some soldiers who witnessed the handover of the position, they actually just want to check the situation

Then a bullet hit the front of the ship, causing the hull to leak and fill with water slowly

The soldiers who were in the command tower directly asked Archen to give a follow-up order

"Captain, we need orders,"

Archen remained silent for a moment, until he finally answered

"That command you will receive, point the cannon at Battleship A!"

The cannon tower containing 1 turret was fired towards Battleship A which was closer than the other. Of course this shot missed, then made Brits who had originally decided to leave this battle, come back again

This time only Battleship A aimed its cannons at the Archen

"I'll take over the cannons" said Archen

"Eh?"

Archen aimed his cannon at Brits who were preparing to shoot, this was very common. Shoot or be shot, but what difference would Archen make by controlling it head-on?

The situation came back again, where time went slower. This time, Archen tried to take advantage of the situation by observing the enemy cannons

And it was really profitable, just before the cannon was released from the Brits, Archen had already released it towards the Brits' cannon. What happened next is an event that has never happened in history

The bullet that Archen fired, went right into the cannon that was shooting from Brits. What happened was that the ship exploded, then followed by a follow-up explosion due to bullets in the ship that also exploded simultaneously

Battleship A's ship was split in two with one Destroyer bullet

Battleship B who saw the incident immediately turned his ship and prepared to shoot with anger. Though the Destroyer Archen did not move from his position, but their shots always missed

Archen did the same to these Brits, he smashed the front cannon with a single bullet. But this time there was no explosion

When the front cannon was destroyed, the ship had to turn slightly to use the rear cannon, as a result the point of the blow was also greater than when moving straight ahead

However the Archen also destroyed their rear cannons as they made a slight turn. This is neither a coincidence nor a miracle, it's a person's skill to maximize a weapon

With the rear cannon destroyed, Brits could not fire any more. Victory was already in Archen's hands, but he also realized there was still one more way to destroy his ship

It's suicide, and that's what they do. They were traveling at full speed towards Archen

On the British ship, "Damn you Germanica, only Britain can control this sea, only Britain!!"

"Captain, what should we do?", one of the crew asked Archen

"Hmm? While waiting, prepare the lifeboats", Archen replied casually

Archen looked at the ship that was twice his size with a condescending look, all his plans had worked. There is no reason to be afraid of something that does not happen

Just as Archen thought, Germanica's air force couldn't possibly let the legendary British ship just like that. They would definitely send an attempt to destroy the ship, let alone their efforts had been made easier by Archen

The second Brits were bombarded with dicyat that made the ship start to sink, but it was not enough. If it continues to be left, the Archen ship will also remain hit by a collision

"Torpedo fire, make them stop!"

"Okay captain!"

Three torpedo bullets were fired and exploded at the front of the Battleship, making a huge hole for more water to come in. They sank before reaching the ship Archen

A torpedo is a bullet released into the sea that leads to an enemy ship, this bullet is more powerful than a cannonball. However they also took much more time when released to reach the target

Therefore, Archen released the bullet when Brits was really close and clear direction

"The first step succeeded.." accompanied by the cheers of his crew, Archen whispered as he tidied the captain's hat that had just been given to him.
