Chapter 15: Back to Where I Belong

Today was just like any other day, in the morning I went to school and now in the afternoon I just came home. Pretty ordinary as a girl my age.

"I'm home" I said a little loudly as I opened the door

"Welcome, Brother!!" welcome my brother Kei

He came down the stairs from the second floor, the stairs were located not far in front after passing through the entrance of my house

I hugged her like in the usual days when I came home from the academy, and she usually asked me to tell her something about my school

"Hmm well, but this story is not about the school, but about the collapse of the Eastern Kingdom" I said

Hearing my words, he became even more excited, I could see that spirit from his shining eyes looking at me

The war between these two countries had actually been a long time since the Empire invaded the Federation territory in the North. The Empire thought that the Federation was already on the verge of collapse because it was against Germanica

The Empire took advantage of this and attacked the Federation from the East, as a result they gained the authority to defend the territory the Federation had taken before

Two years later, the situation changed...

The Federation now underwent a great Revolution that had a strong foundation to stand as a new superpower, and their first goal was to take back the territory of the Empire that had been taken over previously

In this war Ryuu appears as the Devil

"Devil..?" ask Kei scared

"Don't be afraid, don't you want to be a soldier?" I said while rubbing her black hair that was the same as mine

"Kei's not afraid!" he said enthusiastically

"Good, so new is my sister,"

While we were talking together, Ryuu appeared out of nowhere and sat down on Kei's left

"Well, even though he killed fifteen thousand lives, you have nothing to fear from him" Ryuu said

"Ryuu!? Why are you in my house?" much

"Who is he, brother?" ask Kei

"He's my classmate, his name is Ryuu", I replied

And again... Ryuu arbitrarily went away and ignoring my question, he headed out somewhere. I intend to catch up with him soon

"It's true that Kei I forgot to tell you, he's the Devil in my story" I said whispering next to Kei's ear

Then I left Kei in a state of shock that was silent petrified in his place because I was confused about what to do

I chased after Ryuu who was walking in front of my house, he was walking leisurely in contrast to the way he walked at school

Come to think of it again, he was like a different person after knowing that I was also from another world like him

"Hei Ryuu, answer my question earlier," I asked as I managed to catch up to him

Ryuu stopped in the middle of the road and I was still breathing heavily from running after him

"Before I answer your question, I think there is a more important question that the man brought," Ryuu pointed towards the group of troops

This group was seven and was heading right towards us, not Ryuu.

They stopped in front of Ryuu, one of them walked up to Ryuu and started a conversation,

"I'm the commander of the Asagi army, I'm here to give a message from our chief, Miss Funomiya,"

He had a great stature with the white protective armor typical of the Asagi clan

What business is it until the clan chief wants to talk to Ryuu?

"He wants to ask for your help, Ryuu. So please get to the palace now,"

"uh? Though he wanted to ask me for help, shouldn't he be the one here?" replied Ryuu arrogantly

Yep, he was a different person from when we first met

"You!! Damn you!!"

"Hoi Ryuu what's going on?" just whisper

"It's easy...."

The Yui clan was doing a massive expansion in the Ming region, their forces were almost at the territory of this coalition led by the Asagi clan. So Funomiya Asagi or this clan leader asked for my help to defeat the Yui clan army, Ryuu said

"Enough get there!!" shouted a woman accompanied by dozens of other soldiers

Funomiya Asagi, the 16th head of the Asagi clan. He was also the one who intended to call Ryuu for his help

the seven teams that had come before bowed their heads to Funomiya in tribute to their leader

"Miss Funomiya, forgive me but this girl is very disrespectful to you," the Asagi commander said as he lowered his head

"It's okay, after all what he said was true, it should have been me who came directly," Funomiya said

"Miss Funomiya?" asked the Asagi commander confused

then he faced Ryuu and bowed slightly to show that he really needed help to defeat the Yui clan

the Yui clan treated all the prisoners as slaves and took the boys as their future soldiers as well as the girls as entertainers of their troops

"What will our territory be under their leadership,"

The Yui Clan was the largest clan in the Ming land that kept growing in size as time went on, there were actually three previous great clans in the Ming, the Kondo clan, the Yui clan, and the Fuma clan

they were a superior clan that had the greatest army in the Ming lands

then came the time when the Kondo clan and the Fuma clan teamed up to defeat the Yui clan which ended badly for these two clans, these two clans lost the battle that decided the future of the Ming

because of this victory, the Yui clan launched a counterattack against these two clans and managed to achieve a total victory over the two

That was the short history of the Yui clan becoming a superpower clan in the Ming land

"Alright, I agree "Ryuu replied

"really? Then-" Funomiya said happily before finally being cut by Ryuu

"But I have to go first to the South, after all I won't fight in the Asagi army" Ryuu said

"What's!? Are you running away!?" the Asagi commander

"Commander!! Let it be, if he rejects it as well I don't mind, it's his right" Funomiya said

The next day, Ryuu picked me up in the morning and asked me to go to the South no matter what he wanted to do. Though he was the only one who was asked for help, then what was my reason for coming along?

But even though my mind said so, my little heart said another. I decided to follow Ryuu after saying goodbye to Kei, I promised to meet him again one day

"Jad.... What do you want to do?" much

"We will head for the territory of the Oda clan" he replied

"D-would?"

The Oda Clan was a clan that lived behind the lush mountains of the South, located one day from here. So it's going to be a long journey.

"By the way you were born in which clan territory, Ryuu? You see, I heard you like to travel, so there's no way you were born in Asagi right?"

"Hmm. I guess later you'll know for yourself, too,"

We passed through a cave that is not too long that leads us to a village outside these mountains, this village is already included in the region of the oda clan

After a 2-day journey, we finally arrived here

This village, I can say, really blends with nature and it adds to its beauty. The residents have jobs such as gardening and farming because this village is in the highlands

Not long after saying that, many people ran towards Ryuu while lifting their scythe and celurit

"Yumu!!! Fuck you!!" yell at those people

"Kyouka, run," Ryuu said

"Eh?"

"Run!!" ryuu said louder

I don't know what Ryuu has done here so they're that angry with him

We ran here and there avoiding the rampage of the citizens to Ryuu. Wait... aren't they just after Ryuu? Why am I running too?

Finally Ryuu ran with my hand to the palace inside this village, he took me because I was running slower than him

"Wait a minute, Ryuu. Why are we going there? Didn't you already create trouble with the Oda clan? If it's there, it'll be their troops chasing you,"

"No-no, they wouldn't dare to do such a thing,"

Not brave? What does it mean not to dare?

As we got closer to the palace, the citizens who were chasing us stopped. It was because they were forbidden to enter the palace of the clan head residence

But instead, there were many troops with red dominant clothes there. They were Oda's troops on guard in front of the palace

"The squad, is Kaguya inside?" ask Ryuu

"Curtainly" replied the troop

He said nothing but let me and Ryuu enter the palace gate, just like what Ryuu said that they would do nothing to us

We entered a large gate that led into the palace, in which there were more troops on guard. It was only natural that the clan head was here and this was the center of the Oda clan

Ryuu and I walked to an open hall in the middle of a beautiful cherry garden, I don't know what Ryuu wants to do here

But looking at his behavior, could he possibly be willing to negotiate? Will it be approved?

"Tadashii Ryuu, what's the reason you're here this time?" ask an old man who came here

"Is this your welcome uncle? But I can understand why you are acting that way to me" Ryuu replied

Uncle? So Ryuu is from the Oda clan.It's only fitting that he seeks help here, everything becomes connected now. It seems that he is the son of an important person here

In that case, there is a possibility for Ryuu's request to be approved. I can't wait for clan head Oda, I hope he's easy to talk to
