He can't blame anyone for this. The limited knowledge of Sonia's parents and the limited medical costs make them neglect the health of the girl. If only he knew sooner.

Doctor Coltrain reveals all the possibilities that can happen and the risks, doctor Coltrain said that Sonia should not be allowed to get pregnant if she knew the girl's heart condition was as severe as this.

But he can breathe a sigh of relief, because Coltrain doctors are willing to help, they will jointly handle the case of Sonia . Doctor Coltrain flew in from Germany to help him.

That's when the terror really hit him. Recollected by her Sonia who was always nervous and pale the last they met.

Blood was flowing leaving his face. He sat in his chair, thinking back to another pregnant woman who had abandoned him. Sonia might as well leave him.

He closed his eyes, trembling. Already months apart, Sonia never complained again about her absence, starting fights, or doing anything that could make her feel guilty. Sonia must survive. Fuck the other stuff.

Accompanied by Galih, he immediately faced the commander at once to the Lemdiklat committee, Galih explained everything, finally he was allowed to go home from his education.

"Will he survive?"

"My girlfriend will survive?" Lips vibrate.

His eyes were hot and he looked down to hide it. If Sonia dies...

If the girl dies, what will I do? how can I survive without Sonia? thought.

Doctor Coltrain arrived the next day, directly to Sonia who was lying in bed. Perform this examination with other team of doctors.

"This is doctor Coltrain," Galih introduced them. "This is IPTU Dimas, the husband of Sonia."

"It's nice to meet you. Also sorry about this situation" said doctor Coltrain who turned out to be very fluent in Indonesian while shaking his hand.

The doctor's facial expression is serious." Galih's doctor gave your wife a history of health. You don't know about his heart condition?"

And he just shook his head weakly, right, he didn't know at all and was never told.

Doctor Coltrain nodded in understanding.

"Sonia the main one," He cut her, his eyes narrowed with emotion. "Whatever happens."

Doctor Coltrain smiled."We hope to save both of them, from the results of the examination, explained Sonia could not, her heart is not strong, first we will do cardiac catheterization first and worst possible after SC surgery, if Sonia's heart is unstable, then we'll have heart surgery soon."

He recalled the first time he saw Sonia, when the girl, in a white headscarf, smiled shyly at her. Or when Sonia talks to the rose, which makes her want to laugh.

"What's going on?" Papa, who arrived from Bandung this morning, threw himself in his side chair.

"They're doing cardiac catheterization" he said.

Papa sighed deeply, clearly papa knew what his current feelings were like, the old man stroked his shoulders slowly.

All had gathered as if giving strength to her, including Audrey who left the child to the baby sister to see Sonia who was struggling.

"If I lose her," he said to Audrey who was sitting right next to him.

"Nothing else is precious enough in this world for me to survive."

"That's not what the Union wants." Audrey replied slowly.

"The Union appreciates life, you can see it from the way it takes care of its roses."

It bites the lips. He remembers Sonia who always teased him about talking to roses, Sonia does like to plant.

Coltrain's doctor said that Sonia should not be allowed to get pregnant if she knew her heart condition was severe like this. He really did get down to hearing it.

but he was disappointed, making him hate God, until finally he could accept the fact that no one can oppose destiny.

And now, he did too, bargaining for Sonia's life. But Sonia had significance, she prayed without a voice. Much more important than himself.

"But you can't bargain" he thought. It never could. You can ask, that's all.

He fell down and kissed the Musholla Hospital prayer mat. He bowed and spoke to God. He made no offer. He only wished Sonia the best.
