Chapter : 16 – Star Lake

"Well Sakura, Sasaki, you're still beginners, aren't you? What if you come with one of us to run a quest?" kento's proposal to the twin brothers.

"What's? Why don't we just run a quest together?" rebut Amaya who was a little awkward with the words of Kento.

When Asahi saw those two people, her feelings became uneasy. The pair of Sakura's eyes sparkled shortly after hearing Kento's proposal. He's getting uncomfortable with this.

These two people finally chose a hunting quest that has a B rank, which is hunting a monster called Loch Ness Monster that is in the highlands.

This monster is a mythological creature in folklore that inhabits the Loch Ness lake in the highlands of Scotland. The developer deliberately took this folklore for just a sweetener Ring of Chaos game. Of course the lake in this game is not named Loch Ness like in the real world. The Loch Ness Monster was located in a vast lake that became the estuary of four great rivers.

The lake is called Star Lake. As the name suggests, the lake is named as such because according to the news, at night the lake reflects the light of the stars in the sky. So that makes the lake as if it has its own star located in the water, creating a very beautiful scenery.

These two people follow the flow of the Casa river which is near the city of Fortuna. It is one of the four major rivers that empties into Star Lake.

The journey turned out to take quite a long time, after the displacement of this world, Asahi was increasingly convinced that this world was getting bigger. The proof, from the city of Fortuna to Star Lake only takes up to four days, while in the game only a few minutes. He actually wanted to use a teleportation item, but it was a pity that no one had any of them.

"We arrived, this is Star Lake where the Loch Ness Monster resides. I asked again, do you still want to take this quest?" asahi said it reassured Sakura's decision to take on this mission for training materials.

After that Asahi pointed to the only boat that was on the edge of the lake. If in the game Ring of Chaos, the boat is a place to choose the level of difficulty when going against the boss. In the boat, the player will fight the Loch Ness Monster in the water. Indeed when fighting the Loch Ness Monster, the pelayer was slightly unprofitable.

"The boat should be a place to pick a difficulty before going against the boss. But right now I'm not too sure about it, but for sure, inevitably you have to fight Loch Ness who is in the middle of the lake using that boat."

Sakura swallowed her hard-earned saliva. However, only once did he perform a mission that came from a quest. Previously while playing Ring of Chaos, he and his sister only focused on leveling and carrying out system missions.

Actually Sakura and Sasaki cannot be considered as novice players. But as they focused more on leveling and selling materials, as well as ignoring the mission of the system that became the mission of the Ring of Chaos story, making their growth a little slower than others.

Asahi was not ignorant of Sakura's change in expression, so she took the initiative to ask. "If you're not mentally prepared, I can complete this mission for you."

"Be careful Sakura, the Loch Ness Monster is quite ferocious!" asahi shouted as Sakura was already running her boat towards the middle.

This girl actually felt a little afraid to challenge Loch Ness Mosnter alone. But what could be done, he had already chosen this quest and arrived here, if he were to retreat now he should feel very ashamed.

By imposing her courage, Sakura continued to paddle to the middle of Star Lake. It turned out that the lake was quite vast, from the middle here to the outskirts where Asahi stood there were probably a hundred meters more.

"Am I gonna be okay?" he began to doubt himself.

Suddenly his eyes saw large bubbles not far in front of him. His heart began to stiffen, guessing that this was the Loch Ness Monster who became the boss of this place.

So Sakura immediately turned back her boat to give her some distance. And sure enough, it was only five seconds after Sakura slightly moved away from there, from within the gliding water of a monster seven and ten meters tall. His neck was very long and his back was very large. His four legs were long and wide.

As soon as it came out of the water, its fiery red eyes were staring at Sakura full of anger.

"Dead me.." - Sakura complained while shaking violently.

"Use your long-range skills! As much as possible don't go near him!" Asahi gave directions from the edge of the lake.

A loud voice sounded deafening as the fist managed to hit the neck of the Loch Ness Monster. It was also when his body armor was completely destroyed and the monster's neck was slammed hard.

"Successful! Asahi I made it!" Sakura exclaimed in excitement for successfully showing a great show in front of her idol.

However, Asahi's response managed to drop his spirit to the lowest point at that time.

"Good, now get ready for the next game. The Loch Ness Monster will enter a berserk mode that increases all of its power. I'm surprised you can get the Loch Ness Monster into berserk mode this fast, which is important fight!"
