Chapter : 15 – Lavender Life Story Sheet

After the departure of her masters who brought new members to be invited to the alchemist room, Lucy resumed her work.

Sweeping the floor, mopping, tidying the plants, all he did alone until noon until it was finished.

Lucy walked towards her room which was in the row of the Dragon Republic alliance servant house. The complex was built on Cu Qing's suggestion that the servants also needed rest. My name is Lavender, an ordinary orphan girl who was born in the slums of the end of the Sky Heaven world. My parents died from a plague that had spread in my birthplace.

Every day, I support myself by collecting iron or wood garbage to be sold to free sellers who sometimes pass on large roads near slums. If there were no merchants passing by, I would not eat that day.

When they looked at me, the oldest of them looked with sharp eyes, and then not long after, he said to his friend.

I didn't know what he meant until the oldest man touched my head and knocked me unconscious for a moment. As soon as I woke up, I was in a clean white room that was out of nowhere. In front of me, there was an old man I knew as a witch who had knocked me unconscious.

"What's your name?" tanyakanya.

I timidly replied, "L-Lavender."

"How old are you?"

"This year is seventeen years."

"Good, it fits!" the man's face suddenly lit up and immediately pulled my hand out to be invited out.

He led me to another room containing countless magic formations displaying impressions that I did not know. When they talked, I managed to steal the sound that they were looking at a game, and the people in it were called players.

I didn't know what it meant until the man who asked me to take another witch and told me.

"Lavender look at that." This new witch pointed to one of the screens.

There I saw three people huddled up against a transparent screen that read "Character Build", and under the inscription appears a woman who ranging from head to toe apparently very similar to me. I was even surprised.

"Lavender, from now on you will be that person" he said later pointing to the exact same woman as me. "You will be the most loyal servant of the Dragon Republic alliance led by Hikaru Kento."

I saw a sword knight on the transparent screen, the magician introduced him as Hikaru Kento, what a strange name.

"As per what they made, their new maid's name was Lucy, so from now on your name is Lucy. You will be a servant NPC in the Dragon Republic alliance."

I was still astonished and surprised by his words, I took the initiative to ask. "Sorry sir, I..."

"We're the ones apologizing for having to coerce you without hearing your decision. But help Lavender, help us. Our world is in a critical moment" said the witch suddenly in a slightly sad voice.

I was shocked, totally clueless as to what he meant.

"I mean sir?"

"You'll know when you become Lucy in the Dragon Republic alliance. I'll provide you with great magic that you can use anytime and anywhere. But remember, these sorceries don't use in front of the Dragon Republic alliance members until the time comes, or you'll be doomed!" said firmly.

I was confused as to what to answer and subconsciously my head nodded. The witch then cast a spell and pointed her right palm at me. After that there was some kind of strange power entering my body, a very strong power but it felt very comfortable.

When it was over, my appearance changed. I was wearing a maid outfit with a long skirt, not to forget there was also a white apron on my front body that was tied together with a white belt as well. But.....

"Sorry sir...this, what are these cat ears for?"

The two witches facing me were also presumably as good as me. He then turned his gaze to the transparent screen and looked at the three people who were facing each other.

"Heheh...with this Lucy will be more beautiful." said one of the three people.

"Basic otaku!!" snapped up the man I knew named Hikaru Kento.

"okay!!" then a man who was yelled at by two friends pressed the "ok" button on the front screen.

"Ken!!" snatched two of his friends.

"Eh, what is this?" my body was suddenly enveloped in a bright light, making the witches there look at me expectantly.

"Lavender–no, Lucy! From today on you will be the most loyal servant of the Dragon Republic, the one who determines all our fates, you will be the observer. And if the time comes, when the countdown to the Birth of the Immortal runs out, you will understand everything. Four years from now, you will understand all of our actions. About those so-called players, they are your masters, and you become their NPC. Beware Lucy, and one more, forgive our selfishness!!" said the witch who had introduced me to Hikaru Kento while prostrating. Strange indeed but everyone there also bowed to me.

"I'm sorry!" shout them in unison.

Still confused and shocked, I began teleporting from where the witches were to where the Dragon Republic was. In the middle of the teleportation trip, a lot of information regarding the Dragon Republic entered my head.

Among them, I know three people named Hikaru Kento, Tanaka Asahi and Seina Ken. Then they are not from our world, but from a world called earth.

Then I got information about the things I had to do there. How do I do the work, how do I answer when the player asks, even how do I move every second and where should I walk every time. All that information was very strangely memorized out of my head, so that when I reached the Dragon Republic, more precisely in front of the three people, I immediately said...

"Gentlemen, meet my name Lucy, the servant of this place."

"Aaaahhh....Lucy is so sweet!!" seina Ken shouted hysterically. I did not change my expression at all because according to the information that came into my head, it could make them suspicious of me.

"Lucy, do you know who we are?" ask someone named Tanaka Asahi.

"Master is my master of the newly formed Dragon Republic alliance a few weeks ago. You're named Tanaka Asahi, then you're Hikaru Kento, and you're Seina Ken. From today on, Lucy will be the most loyal servant." I said it all in a regular tone and neat sentence.

But the next incident scared me a little, because they looked at me suspiciously. A second later, they laughed.

"Hahaha, the Ring of Chaos is indeed very sophisticated. Our NPC maids are even like real people." exclaimed Tanaka Asahi.

"Yes right!"

According to the information that went into my head, all the actions of the "player" I saw were some sort of projection of their expressions on the earth there. So the three of them were currently facing an object called a computer and were conversing with me using words typed through a long flat object full of keys called a keyboard.

I didn't understand it clearly but all that I was patiently living through until when I realized what the Birth of the Immortal was. It turned out that these people were none other than the players I knew, and no one else knew about this other than the people called "The Observers".

According to the information that entered my head, the Observer was in charge of observing all the movements of the player and leaking the information of the Birth of the Immortal when the time came. That's why, four years later, it finally arrived.

I went to one of the Dragon Republic's servants and said to him secretly.

"Hey, do you know who these gentlemen are?"

"All I know from the information when I was transferred here is, they were called players."

"Yes that's right, and you know about the Birth of the Immortal being tipped over by our master right?"

"Yes, I know."

"Those are the immortals! Today is the day they move from earth to our place. The astrologer's prophecy is true!"

"I'm serious! Just wait, maybe after this they will arrive. It's still too early."

From then on, all the servants in the Dragon Republic learned that their masters were the immortal himself. When the immortal was born, it meant that the time had come. So I immediately gathered all my fellow servants and said to them.
