67. Missions

Railene already knew what happened to Diza when her mother came home. Although his tone, habits, and mannerisms were still as usual, Railene had penetrated the memory of his head and looked at Bram's sudden proposal.

Railene honestly did not expect that a cold business man like Bram would shoot straight at the target quickly. It was a bit rushed and honestly he could understand Diza's current confusion. Despite that, Railene did not discuss it and acted as usual.

The day passed quickly. The time allotted for the first and dangerous mission has finally arrived. During the day, Railene was still filming and came home for lunch with Maria. He remained at home until his mother left again for the night watch picket. Railene didn't follow because she had her grandmother at home. His grandfather is still in the company. Overtime due to ongoing international cooperation since the proposal from Railene was accepted.

By seven o'clock, Railene alerted Selena through her sophisticated computer device that looked very ordinary and rather ugly. Even so, its function exceeds most other advanced computers. It is very fast and has a very large database. Railene wasn't worried about the theft or anything else. As long as the other person does not know that it is valuable, then fine.

Selena immediately receives the information and informs her that she will find Railene in her relatively lower security CCTV backyard. Railene will also hack for a moment the CCTV and go with Selena. He was not worried about being found because he had admitted to being tired and wanted to go to bed early. Then her grandmother or the maids won't see Railene until morning.

Railene was silent for a moment.

"Are you connected to the other messengers? Why do you know that most people of choice like me have different characteristics and strengths?" Ask Railene wonder. This is a new knowledge for him. He had not thought about the classification of powers that other people had other than himself.

"Oh, I almost forgot. When you went to bed yesterday, a ball fell again and there was a sign. In it says that the development of your mental strength increases rapidly and there is a new list of strengths that you will awaken later" Inchara said. Railene did not interrupt and Inchara continued.

Inchara screamed in his mind, then continued.

Railene fell silent and frowned unconsciously. He did not think about the slowness of Inchara who had just realized that he was the guide, he was just confused. Selena was already standing at the back gate of Railene's mansion. He looked at the greenhouse building that was shining under the moonlight. A soothing sight he may never get because of his complicated and unstoppable life journey. He has no time to relax.

Railene came a while later. He carried a small backpack on his back and carried the laptop of his slightly smaller raft. Run towards Selena and greet her warmly.

"So Lena, let's go. I just turned off the CCTV for five minutes" Railene said, looking at the small digital watch on his wrist.

Selena helps Railene ride a rather tall Jeep and drive through a small road in the woods. Not passing through the housing community because the car and license plate are not registered. He was reluctant to be suspected and did not want to take care of this trivial matter.

During the trip, the two chatted about the mission.

"How much time do you need to make a direct observation?" Ask Selena while focusing on driving. He put an earpiece in his ear and shut down while channeling communication with the special forces. It was also approved by his boss.

Railene observes Selena's actions and secretly admires Selena's cool aesthetic. "One minute. But it took about three to five minutes using binoculars and camera media" Railene said.

Selena nodded naturally.

"There's an ice cream shop near the target restaurant. We wait there and you watch those people pass by. There are about a hundred steps in length between an ice cream shop and a restaurant. Do it at that moment. Can you?" Selena asked expressionlessly.

"OK, um," Railene agreed, muttering.

Selena remained with her cold face that slightly distorted the warm situation. Since meeting Railene, her face has had more emotions.

"Can I get some ice cream?" Railene asked with a serious face.

He wanted to eat ice cream when he heard that what he was visiting was an ice cream shop. He could not refuse his second favorite food after yogurt. And he also had no idea the mission arrangements could eat and drink or be banned altogether. And so he asked.

Selena slightly looked at Railene and the corner of her lips twitched briefly. He again realized that the person beside him was still a child who had difficulty resisting the temptation of those sweet items. So, he sighed and nodded.

"You can have ice cream" Selena said in the end.

Railene smiled brightly for a moment.
