56. Starry Eyes

Twenty minutes and Railene's turn to audition. Today was the last day of the audition and Railene was just one of the students who applied for the audition on the last day. Not as much as on the first and second days. There's only a few people left after Railene.

Railene looked up to look at the jury. The three people also noticed him. He walked to the center stage of the auditorium and introduced himself briefly. He built his usual self-image. It was a bit cold yet pure and innocent as he smiled. Railene looked mysterious due to the look in her eyes.

"My name is Railene Aristokelly" Railene said briefly.

He bowed for a while before looking back at the three judges. He looked at Jack who had stars in his eyes. Railene becomes increasingly convinced due to Jack's sudden spirited condition. If Railene can feel it himself, then the two judges on his right and left side can too.

"Is this the man you're looking for, Mr Jack?" Ask the person on his right.

"Hmm..., he's the right guy, right? Just look at his appearance and aura is convincing. What do you think, Director?" Jack sent his opinion.

The man called the director nodded. There was a small smile on his lips. He had become one of the people from the list of people who were stunned the first time he saw Railene.

Railene is so beautiful. The pure yet mysterious charm of the little girl made her imagine a person from the upper world. Some kind of unreachable entity and not part of the mortal world. The realization is perfect. And the two men who had just seen him for the first time became very aware that Railene was indeed very compatible with the character of one of the characters from the film they were working on.

"Good, Railene. Can you practice this character..."

"Can you be more cruel than this?" The tone is empty and deep. It depicts a little girl with high intellect. His eyes crept and were fixed on the tombstone bearing the name of the figure that was important to him.

"You said you'd protect me and take me to the end of the world. You said you'd be with me forever. But you actually left. You left me alone."

"Tian, you're a liar!"

Silent moment. As if missing from the crowd of mourners who were gradually fading away. Leaving himself alone in the quiet.

Those eyes were full of sadness, anger, hatred, and helplessness. The emotions swirling in his eyes gripped coldly. Bringing up empty gloom that hurts.

There is no crying. But even that's more sad to see. Hearts that are slashed because they cause feelings of abandonment, loneliness, and despair.

"Tian, now what should I do?"

Then the sound of applause began to reach his ears. Railene looked up again and faced the three judges who had starry eyes. After controlling his memories from the past, he returned to his usual self. Smile after the show.

"Good, good!" Jack is most excited. If he did not remember his image and age, he would definitely be prancing around with pleasure. In contrast to him, the other people were astonished and shocked.

They gave aplause while confused and immersed in astonishment. Such a powerful aura and emotion was extremely profound. Even the three can see that Railene is better than the original actress. "Okay, thanks for participating. We will announce the results in two days" Jack said with a friendly and big smile.

"Rail, how? Did you bring it well?" Arkan immediately asked after arriving in front of him.

The four spoke while walking.

"Hmm, I think that's pretty good. The jury's good too" Railene said.

"That's great. The last time I went in and tested, they were all pretty cold. I almost ruined the scene. I didn't know if I was going to pass the audition or not. But, I hope you escaped!" Arkan said with passion.

"Rai, what are you playing?" It was Ben's turn to ask.

"That's someone who lost a friend" Railene said straightforwardly.

"Are you crying?" Ask Arkan again.

Railene laughed softly and shook her head. "No. It's a difficult character. Her best friend died but she couldn't cry. But he's sad. It's hard, anyway" Railene explained strangely.

They were confused and did not continue.

"That means we're all waiting. Announcement for the model tomorrow morning. When was the acting audition announced?" Ask Ben.

"Two days left. It was the day after tomorrow and it didn't seem like as much as other field audition participants. The list is a bit big, "Railene replied with a frown on her forehead. It was only for a moment and he returned to his usual look.

"No problem, it means less competition. I'm sure you'll get away!" Arkan said again.

The four children continued the conversation and headed for class.
