14. The Kinoka Twins

Railene and the twins were sitting on a park bench. Sham was behind the boys, giving Railene the opportunity to socialize with the kids her age. He often heard from Diza that Railene did not like his peers. His intelligence makes him mature faster. It makes Diza sometimes worry that Railene can't socialize well.

"So that's your papa?" A boy named Arkan asked. Pointing to Sham with his index finger.

"Om doctor is not my father." Railene answered without looking.

"Who is the Doctor?" ask Arkan again. Looks like Railene found another chatty species.

"Om the doctor's a neurology specialist here. My mother's friend." Railene replied with a light glance.

The object of his attention was Arkan's twin brother, who he said was named Archi. The quiet boy had not made a sound. He watches his conversation with the Arkan boy. His face looked calm but his eyes implied a nervousness that could not be covered, at least for Railene.

In Railene's heart was quite impressed because Archi was even eight years old. How could he hide his feelings so well? Or is it just as long as he is silent? Should Railene make him talk?

"Oh, what's the Doctor doing here?" ask Arkan to Sham.

"I was just accompanying Railene to play in the park." Syam answered with a smile. Gave a warm impression on the two twins.

Railene was silent. He smiled slightly and replied innocently.

"Mother Rail?"

Railene nodded. Still with his little smile he noticed the change in Arkan's countenance. Ever since the two had a fight, Railene had been busy reading through the past of the two.

"Cannot. You should go back to your room. My mom is waiting for me."

"Huh, shitty!" Arkan did not argue. Perhaps remembering the threatening words of his mother so he complied to be taken back to the children's ward where he was treated for severe illness.

Arkan had to go to the hospital many times because of a special condition in which he had to periodically wash his blood. For a child his age, he is quite strong and very cheerful compared to other children. Arkan always wanted to have many friends, but because of his condition, he could not be in school for a long time. His friend was only Archi who was very loyal to the twin.

"Rail, we have to go back to the room. I'll see you again sometime. Then I'll ask your mother for permission so you can be my sister!" Arkan said then saluted Railene and left the park in a hurry for Archi.

Railene watched the two move away. Smile a little for the next time. He looked at Sham who was sitting beside him.

"Om Doctor, I'm hungry!" Whine Railene while holding her stomach. Showing an adorable face that is so beautiful and cute at the same time.

Sham his own joy in his place. He then holds Railene and starts babbling about what Railene should have eaten. They went to the hospital cafeteria and ordered food.

Railene was seated on one of the empty chairs and tables. Syam himself slightly ran to the place to take food. Take orders in a bit of a hurry. Reluctant to leave Railene for too long.

Railene who noticed it walked over. He stood beside Sham and watched the figure of the woman. His forehead shriveled small but then returned to normal.

"There are so many people from the past here." inner Railene tiredly.
