32. The Precious Bribe

"Rai, you can just stay in place and teach me these things. I didn't get involved in IPA lessons. And another month of National Exams. As a good friend, shouldn't you help me?" Ben whines all the time.

Carrying the book in her hand and following Railene around the shelves in the school library. Railene did not pay attention to Ben and was still busy looking for a new book said by the library guard. That was his hobby. Ever since she was reborn, everyone already knew her first hobby and always the first order of the little girl was to read books.

All of the books in the school library were read by Railene within a year. Every month there will be a number of new books and Railene will be the first to read them. Ben quietly went to the school cafeteria, reached into his pocket and spent all his allowance for five days buying a dozen of Railene's favorite yogurts. Getting to know Railene for three years wasn't a waste to him. He knew very well that Railene was weakest if bribed with this expensive yogurt. Especially in large numbers.

Ben knows what Railene likes and hates. The eight-year-old girl loves books, yogurt, ice cream, and action or fantasy movie VIP vouchers. Just give up one of the instruments with a satisfactory amount, then Railene will look at it and fulfill the needed. Ben didn't mind as long as he could get Railene's valuable teachings and could be next to him in the future, he would throw his money at Railene willingly. He knows Railene is a genius. One day the girl who became his playmate would skyrocket to heights he could not reach easily. He always studied hard. Railene is his only true friend. A person she considers sister and she really loves Railene unconditionally. Railene is so brilliant and many people will have envious hearts until someone hurts. At the very least, Ben wanted to stand beside Railene to protect her and guard her properly.

As he returned to the library, he saw Railene in his usual place. It was a special reading room for VIP students. Right now only Railene himself is in that space. Ben came in after sticking an access card on the side of the door. Railene appears to be in books on astronomy. It was quite thick and very heavy. Contrast with the small body of Railene.

Ben was used to seeing the scene and was approaching soon. He sat down on the chair next to Railene and put away the dozens of books he was sure of, which Railene had brought with him in a book trolley in the corner of the room.

Railene is sensitive when it comes to the word yogurt. He glanced at the plastic bag that Ben was carrying and couldn't help but be interested. Especially when he looked, it was twelve and still cold. Railene was still reading the book, but he gulped because he wanted the cold drink.

Ben knew Railene was looking and interested. However, he had no intention of playing Railene. She did look at him funny, but she immediately stuck the twelve bottles of yogurt on the table. Railene. The cold dew in each bottle made it waver once again. Then, his gaze fell on Ben who was smiling at him sincerely.

Railene glanced at the bottles of yogurt and Ben many times before sighing and giving up. He takes one of the bottles and asks Ben to open the seal. Ben knew that and immediately opened with a brighter smile. He knew Railene would always give up on the things he liked.

Waiting for a few minutes after Railene finished his first bottle, Ben immediately asked.

"So when do we start?"

Railene sighed. Then grab the book in Ben's arms and open it. Ask in a normal tone.

"Which one do you need to learn?" Ask Railene to the point.

Ben's eyes immediately sparkled and pointed to several chapters in the book. It is about the electrical circuit along with its theory and also about the universe. The last one is the lunar cycle. Railene looked at Ben with her eyes narrow.

"Did you sleep all the way through class and not hear the teacher? Why are you asking almost all the final class materials?" Railene felt deceived. Not because it was difficult material for him. However, he won't finish quickly because it teaches Ben a lot of material. While he easily collapsed just because of the appetizing yogurt?

Ben chuckled and scratched his non-itchy head. She knew Railene would say that so she deliberately offered her next things. He will ask his house people to prepare what he asks.

"You know there's an action movie coming out today. We'll watch it after school. I ordered a chair for you, how?" Ben with his charming smile expects Railene to melt down.

"Okay, deal!" Railene immediately began his lesson. Ben followed peacefully and with a happy heart.
