Villa

After finishing talking about work, Andreas then handed over the files he had brought to Skylar who was sitting in his big chair in his study.

"These are some people we might be able to suspect."

Skylar took the file and read it, then flipped through it. His eyes were fixed on one of the photos in the file.

"Why did he get on this list?" Andreas glances at the file shown by Skylar.

"Because we filtered all the hospital employees who entered less than two months before the accident."

Skylar frowned for a long time, before then his face stiffened.

"Oh my goodness .. she had free access to this house and met Starla. He must still be inside this house, we need to catch him quick."

Without a second thought, Skylar hurriedly stepped into the door in a hurry followed by Andreas. And at the same time, the door was opened from the outside, Jeane's panicked face appearing with gasping breaths.

"Mr Skylar .. I'm sorry! I neglected to look after Mrs Wolves and now she's on the run with Dr. Alex."

Alex's doctor drove his car quietly through the traffic jam, then they arrived at a turn out of town, into a quiet street. Starla who had been silent for holding back the tension on the way and just continued to express gratitude for finally being free from the hell of Skylar's creation turned her head and looked at Alex's doctor full of curiosity know.

"Where are we going, Doc?"

Doctor Alex looked over and smiled sweetly. "To a house on the outskirts of a city, a place like a villa in the mountains, you will be safe there and Mr. Skylar will not reach you. Once it's quiet enough I'll take you overseas, to my brother's. You can change your identity there, and you really won't be found by Mr. Skylar."

Doctor Alex's words are quite promising, everything sounds so happy. After this, he would completely be free from the shadows of Skylar, and in that faraway place he would change his identity and he would be unrecognizable by no one anymore.

Starla then nodded her head and looked straight ahead, the scenery outside was the forest and the winding streets, the night was getting darker and Starla had started to feel sleepy. Finally he rested his head comfortably on the chair and began to close his eyes and fell asleep.

Skylar stares angrily at the nurse who was drugged to replace Starla on the bed, Jeane who has been told not to let Starla just be with a stranger, as well as the caretaker who was not very smart to check on Alex's doctor and the nurse who was with him—which was none other than Starla.

He was very angry because he had to be cheated in his own house, in his own power he could be fooled. That made him even more angry.

"Why are you so stupid, huh?" skylar's voice sounded calm, but the intensity of his anger made the feathers of the person sitting on the spot stand up and shudder in horror.

The guards looked at each other trying to speak, but could not. They are guilty. Andreas as their superior had instructed to check on anyone before entering and exiting the Skylar residence. But as Alex's doctor seems accustomed to coming with a nurse to check on Starla's condition, they let her go without checking into more detail. Who would have thought that the famous doctor Alex who was friendly and had a smile as bright as the sun turned out to be a hitman hired by Gavino, who had the mentality of a psychopath who was very feared.

Skylar stared angrily at the two guards of his house, thinking what punishment was cruel enough to be bestowed upon their folly. Starla escaped, and not just escaped. For God's sake! That damn woman is now in the hands of a psychopathic killer.

Andreas came back, handed me another stack of files. Distract Skylar. "It seems your guess is correct, Mr. Skylar. Alex's doctor profile is very similar to that of the psychopathic killer. He was a genius graduate of medicine, his life was very mysterious, and according to rumors his mother died by suicide. While his father was killed with his own hands because he was sick of seeing him continue to drink and spend money by gambling. He just signed up for this hospital two months ago, and when we checked his past, it was all blank, there was not a single piece of data on him. As if everything was intentionally deleted."

Starla must survive, though now that is doubtful, as Starla is in the hands of a ruthless psychopathic killer. Even though Starla is his enemy, and desperately wants the woman's death. But Skylar also won't let the woman die that fast at the hands of Alex's doctor. Only Skylar can kill the woman, so Skylar will go to any lengths to get Starla back, safe, and alive.

" Starla, we're here." Doctor Alex shook Starla's shoulder gently.

The woman opened her eyes and found their car parked in an old white villa that was very beautiful showered with bright lights. As Alex says, Starla was taken to the old villa.

Doctor Alex gets off first, then opens the passenger door and helps Starla get off. They walked side by side into the porch of the house, when Alex's doctor unlocked the door, Starla frowned and asked, "This is your house, Doctor?"

"No, it's my best friend's property that was deposited with me, because he's now overseas. I think this place is the safest place for you in the meantime.You can hide here, before I take you far away. Because I know Mr. Skylar will use every means possible to find you."

Starla shivered at the possibility, and allowed herself to be stopped from entering the villa. The interior of the villa is very beautiful, as beautiful as the outside, with ancient and neat Dutch ornaments, looks so comfortable to live in.

"Come, I'll take you into the room, you can rest there. I'm sure you must be tired after a long trip." Doctor Alex steps through the stairs and Starla follows him.

The room for Starla was a simple, well-organized room, and the white-clothed bed looked very soft and tempting to sleep in. Starla unknowingly yawns and makes Alex's doctor chuckle.

"Sleep, Starla. May you wake up in the morning with a fresher state."

Starla nodded her head. "Thank you, Doc. Thanks for everything, I don't know how to thank Doctor for saving me from Skylar."

Doctor Alex stepped to the door, his smile looking mysterious behind the dim light. "It's okay, Starla. I'm glad I could help you get here." Then the man stepped out and closed the door behind him.

Starla awoke from a great thirst, she sat on the bed and coughed a little. He slowly looked around, still dark. Maybe it's early morning.

With careful steps, Starla got out of bed and out of the room. Starla searched the kitchen, but she could not find it. In the end he continued to step up, heading towards the dark-looking second-floor hallway. But there was a white light at the end, he stepped carefully into the light and hoped it was the location of his kitchen, until he was taken to a slightly open door at the end of the hall.

Starla opened it, and was stunned. This is not a kitchen. He was about to turn back his body, when his eyes were fixed on something, and his face turned pale.

There, on one side of the wall was full of images of people being killed sadistically and brutally. As if, every time he launched his action, he would photograph the corpse and then paste it in the room. And not only that, Starla's eyes again found Skylar's picture and some pictures were there too. The picture was taken candidly, it looks Skylar is doing his activities, even among those who are with him.

"There is a saying that great curiosity will one day be the cause of your death."

Starla jumped in shock, listening to that hissing sound. He turns his body around and confronts Alex, who is standing quietly in the shadows. The man smiled, as usual, but his smile this time was not a sweet smile as bright as the sun, but rather a terrifying evil grin.
