"Sorry …."
The faint creaking on Starla's forehead was now clearly visible when she heard the speech of someone sitting on her left side.
"For what?" ask without looking. His gaze continued to be fixed on the object in front of him which for him was quite interesting.
"Because you're their victim, too, and it's all because of me."
Hearing that answer, Starla immediately turned her head and instead chuckled. "That's no problem. I—"
"You can get away from me" said the girl quickly as she bowed.
And that sentence managed to get his gaze sidetracked. He looked at the girl. Her lips began to move wanting to challenge, but a second later, the girl again gave a amused smile when she saw Gabriella's messy face.
"Why?" gabriella asked in surprise after seeing Starla even chuckle.
"Your face is really ugly with such a wound," Starla replied and was instead presented with a light flick by Gabriella on her forehead. But that did not stop his laughter which was now turning bitter.
"You are the same. It's no different from me. Your face is even uglier with that extra cut on your lips" Gabriella replied calmly and then chuckled when she saw Starla still laughing at her.
Starla then snorted. "That damn girls smashed my pretty face, Gaby!" starla said with a bit of anger.
Gabriella smiled softly. "Who told you to fight them and defend me."
The girl looked at Gabriella. "I can't see you being bullied by them. You're not wrong and they're even a hotshot at this school. And I don't like those hotshot girls at all."
I don't know how many times they've been like that. Two weeks after the meeting, their relationship is now closer. Starla Valerie Jhonson is the only friend of Gabriella Angelie Wolves at the school.
However, during those two weeks as well, Gabriella still always gets less good treatment from friends at her new school. Not only him, but also Starla who is now also the target of the bully of the pretenders. It all starts when Starla discovers that one gang is intent on raping Gabriella, but Starla instead messes with their plans. As a result, it is not only Gabriella who became their moons, but Starla was also so.
It's just that Starla is better able to retaliate and fight their treatment, in contrast to Gabriella who always chooses silence when they do something to her. Gabriella could only accept the girls tortured her all out and pranked her.
And once in the all-out bully like now, they will always end up on that park bench, where Starla first greeted and invited Gabriella to be her friend. With a face full of wounds and clothes that had turned dirty and looked agitated, they chose to sit in that place, let silence envelop them for a while before the crackling of stupid laughter rang out when their gaze met. They laugh as if nothing happened. The wounds on each other's lips weren't even a problem for the two.
So ridiculous. But that's how their closeness began.
From then on, their friendship began. Wherever both are always. Their friendship relationship even lasted until both had their own busy lives. Once, Gabriella asked her brother for approval to let her work in another company, not far from the company building where Starla worked. Although the request was rejected many times but in the end the brother gave him permission.
"Arlan nitip greetings to you," Starla said at the time before sipping her hot chocolate that still reflected a hint of smoke.
At the moment, they are in a cafe not far from where they work. Every hour of rest arrived, the two were always meeting at the cafe. And always promise not to miss lunch together. Their friendship is that kind of friendship. Start from high school and survive until they are in the world of work.
"really? A—Arlan?" gabriella's great-grandson with her eyes slightly bulged, making the beautiful girl sitting before her frown in wonder.
"Why?"
"T—nothing, Star."
"You .. Do you like it?" starla asked quickly after propping up her chin with both backs of her hands.
Seeing Gabriella silenced with agitated moving eyes, he stretched out his hand and then flicked the girl's forehead.
"Don't choose her to be your partner! That guy's too ugly for you, Gaby."
"He's handsome! You're the ugly one" exclaimed Gabriella as she rubbed her forehead.
Starla grunts. "Just like you!"
Then the laughter sounded again. Music in the cafe. Strange looks thrown by people around them were ignored.

The clangs of spoons and forks that clashed with plates became the only breakers of silence in the dining room. Not a single sentence was heard. Silent and stiff, always like that. They saturate themselves with the food before him.
Oh, actually only Skylar is busy enjoying her breakfast, while Starla prefers to keep quiet and stare blankly at the foods, without even intending to touch them.
"You want to starve to death?" Skylar finally opened his voice.
Quietly for quite a while, the woman again threw the question in a sharp tone. "What do you care?"
"Surrection …."
"I want to get back to work!" Starla said in a cold tone.
"No," Skylar said quickly, but remained calm while enjoying her breakfast.
"What right do you have to govern me?" Feeling neglected, Starla continued. "Besides the bastard and the mentally ill. Are you deaf too?"
The man let out a heavy breath and threw the dinner knife and fork into the table. His back rests on the back of the chair and folds both hands in front of his chest.
"You've been working to be my filler. Then, what else do you want? You want me to send you to a prostitution place and sell you there?"
Starla's eyes looked up at Skylar who was throwing an harassing glance. He then returned the insolent look. A deep sense of hatred was evident in his teary eyes.
That bastard!
"You beast!"

The man threw his back on the back of the chair. His eyes closed tightly, remembering the incident in the dining room earlier. For some reason since on her way to the office, Starla's face always overshadowed her head. He felt something strange inside him when he saw the woman's gaze. Highlight the eyes filled with wounds and hatred, then followed by tears that pooled in the shade of his eyes.
Skylar knew that the sentence he had uttered this morning had indeed gone too far. Honestly speaking, the man was cursing himself at this moment. But for God's sake, the woman always managed to provoke her emotions. Just because of the stubbornness of the woman, it made Skylar look like a cold-blooded killer. But isn't that true?
