Ch.99 - Martial Overlord intermediate stage
After Huo Cai’er could move, he took the pills he had on his own to heal his wounds.
He could see the Moon Lion not far beside him but he was not worried at all because he heard Xiang Shin's conversation with the Moon Lion earlier which made Huo Cai’er know that the Moon Lion it was Xiang Shin's partner.
While Huo Cai’er was recuperating, Xiang Shin was busy with a wide variety of herbs that were still in the screening process.
One day passed, Cai’er was now fully recovered, he changed his damaged clothes and approached the Moon Lion who was lying casually under a tree.
“Where is Xiang Shin?”
The Moon Lion opened one eye to look at Huo Cai’er then closed it again.
“He was in the west cave, I don't know what he's doing but you better not bother him.”
Huo Cai’er did not reply, he immediately sat beside the Moon Lion quietly.
“You Spirit Beast contract Xiang Shin?”
“Not.”
“You're his subordinate?”
“Not.”
“Then you're his friend?”
“Not.”
“But you seem pretty close to him.”
“Not really.” Moon Lion just answered soberly without giving an explanation, “you are quite talkative also little girl. Looking at that flat face of yours I thought you were a dull quiet human being.”
Huo Cai’er just realized he was asking too many questions. Does he want to know more about Xiang Shin? I don't know, Huo Cai’er chose not to think about it.

In the cave.
Xiang Shin had just finished in the process of refining the herbal essence. There are 7 liquids with different colors, each in 7 balls of holy water.
“Alright, time to start the mixing process!” Xiang Shin fused his palms together.
The seven water balls instantly fused together, as well as the 7 liquids inside.

After struggling for a full 2 days, Xiang Shin finally finished concocting the Saint level Elixir.
Xiang Shin made a formation symbol in the air then made it fly out at medium speed. The formation symbol approached the Moon Lion and Huo Cai’er who was still under the tree.
“Lion Moon, I want you to stand guard near the cave, lest anything enter the cave where I am until I come out!”
The sentence came out from the formation symbol, then the formation symbol disappeared.
“Huh, that human always just gave the order,” Lion Moon snorted in annoyance. He leapt up high until he landed a few hundred meters from the cave.
He did not know what Xiang Shin was going to do inside there because there was a magic formation in the mouth of the cave that blocked his perception.

Xiang Shin opened his eyes, the overflowing aura on his body disappearing, as well as the sword mark on his forehead. Xiang Shin stood up, stretching his muscles for a while before walking out of the cave.

The Moon Lion and Huo Cai’er were still faithfully waiting for Xiang Shin outside. With the Moon Lion spreading its aura, not a single living creature dared to approach, not even ants and mosquitoes.
The Moon Lion stood up, looking towards the mouth of the cave. He saw Xiang Shin walking out with an aura that felt different from before.
“Grrr... it turns out that he just broke through, his aura feels very strong,” Moon Lion actually grinned, he felt like he wanted to once again go berserk fighting against Xiang Shin.
Huo Cai’er could also feel the pressure from Xiang Shin's strength. It felt like he was in front of his father who was in top shape.

Xiang Shin's reflex took out his Daonya Sword, spinning down with a sword slash.

Xiang Shin could finally see who was attacking him. It was a figure of a creature with an insect-like body, having two legs and 4 blade-shaped arms curved like a katana, its entire skin as if it was like an extremely hard armor.
The creature's two arms have managed to hold Xiang Shin, but the creature still has two other arms that have now been eyeing him from the left and right.
Xiang Shin took out two Dao Swords to withstand the attack. Simultaneously a magic formation circle formed behind Xiang Shin's back.
The magic formation shot out 5 elemental energies, decisively hitting the strange creature.

The strange creature was pushed hard down to hit the ground.
