Ch.47 - The Illusion of Unlimited Death

The chaos in the Heaven Formation Sect was over but the situation had not been completely good.

The higher-ups of the Heaven Formation Sect no one knew what was the cause of the thousands of disciples who rampaged and attacked mercilessly.

This incident killed tens of thousands of their disciples as well as many destroyed buildings. It was definitely this very detrimental to the Heaven Formation Sect.

Out of the thousands of rampaging disciples, hundreds of them had died while the rest had been captured with the help of the Sect Elders.

But just after they managed to catch the rampaging disciples, they suddenly exploded and ended up dead until none of the thousands survived.

The members of the Heaven Formation Sect were enraged by this incident, especially the Elders because they simply could not prevent a single rampaging disciple from blowing themselves up.

If not for the disciples that many were Sect geniuses, they would not have cared even if they died. Especially with the death of all the rampaging disciples, they could not investigate the cause of their rampage.

The Elders now only had one guess as to the cause of this chaos, that of a giant cube hovering above the sect.

The Elders were trying to search for the whereabouts of their Sect Chief, yet they could not find him, not even they could contact him with communication tokens.

So they all suspected that now Duan Mu was inside the giant cube, fighting against the brain behind this chaos.

Xiang Shin and Duan Mu were still fighting inside the Devil Trap. If they were to fight outside, perhaps the entire vast Heaven Formation Sect would be blown apart due to the sheer intensity of their fight.

Duan Mu was getting more and more difficult against Xiang Shin, he had already spent thousands of formation papers and dozens of formation crystals just to deal with Xiang Shin's endless attacks. It was rare that he had the opportunity to counterattack.

To make formation paper requires special paper materials and drawing formation symbols is also not as easy as turning the palm. While making formation crystals requires Qi crystals and special tools to carve them.

Both paper and formation crystals were treasures to formation experts. Although Duan Mu could create formation arrays without the medium of formation paper, yet it would not be as effective as using formation paper.

Moreover, it would require time to form formation arrays as well as consume a lot of spiritual energy if without any other medium.

Xiang Shin's swift slash instantly targeted Duan Mu's neck. Luckily Duan Mu could still dodge, yet misfortune immediately greeted Duan Mu.

Xiang Shin's powerful kick hit right on his face. Duan Mu bounced violently with blood spurting out of his mouth.

With a body still shrouded in light energy as well as a pair of wings on its back, Xiang Shin moved swiftly waiting for Duan Mu in his bounced path.

Xiang Shin focused the energy on his fist, smashing a punch staying on Duan Mu's back, making him bounce upwards.

Xiang Shin again appeared on Duan Mu's bounced path and gave a streak of attacks that made him bounce towards another direction.

Xiang Shin continued to do the same thing to countless numbers, breaking Duan Mu's bones or breaking, even some of his bones jutting out to tear flesh and skin.

Duan Mu's internal organs were destroyed every time Xiang Shin landed a kick or punch on his body.

Duan Mu was lying in a very miserable condition, blood was flowing in all parts of his body, every bone was no longer shaped like before except for the head and spine.

Xiang Shin had indeed intentionally done so that Duan Mu did not die instantly.

“Guhk!” Duan Mu spewed out a lot of blood.

“How are you feeling now Duan Mu?” Xiang Shin stood beside Duan Mu, “you know? Seeing your current condition is still not even satisfactory for me. I still feel like I want to destroy your body to the brink.

“A..k.” Duan Mu had even trouble saying a single word in his current state.

“I'll ease your pain a little,” Xiang Shin made a green magic circle.

Grain of light shot out from the green magic circle, entering into Duan Mu's body.

Duan Mu immediately felt a feeling like he had just drunk water after being sunbathed in the wilderness for months.

Although Xiang Shin was anxious to destroy Duan Mu, yet he wanted to hear what the middle-aged man's last words were.

“Do not. kill me.” Duan Mu still hoped to stay alive.

He had still not achieved his ambition to become part of the God Formation Sect.

“Is that your last words?” Xiang Shin did not care about Duan Mu's merciful pleas.

“I return.. plant a new seal.. which is stronger.. on the second body..the girl... if I die..they also... will instantly die.”.

Xiang Shin still put on a flat face, not because he did not care about the safety of Qin Zhiyun and Qin Qiaoyu, but because he had already predicted it.

“What if you release that seal alone, old man!”

“Don't. please.”

“As per my guess, you will say that. But this has already happened once, so don't think I'll let it go a second time!” Xiang Shin raised his right hand.

A magic circle with hundreds of magic circles in it was formed on his hands. The magic circle had a blood red color.

“I've taken the trouble to design this magic circle, so I let you be the first to feel it.”

The Illusion of Limitless Death!

The magic circle shrank then entered Duan Mu's head through his forehead.

“Consider the taste of infinite death until you become a dog!”

Duan Mu's eyes closed slowly, he did not die but his consciousness entered into the illusion of boundless death.

This magic Xiang Shin created to torture someone so that the person would obey.

As the name of the magic suggests, the target will enter into an illusion where he will feel death continuously in different ways.

Before the mental and soul of the target is damaged to the point of having an animal-like nature, the illusion will never stop.

Now Xiang Shin only needed to wait until Duan Mu became like an animal.
