Ch.96 - Against the Moon Lion

Xiang Shin had already been 2 days in the Monster Forest yet still had not reached the center of the forest. Other than because of the vast forest, the Spirit Beasts in the Monster Forest turned out to be so ferocious that they dared to attack Xiang Shin and Huo Cai’er even though the cultivation of those Spirit Beasts was much lower than theirs.

Xiang Shin had just slashed at the neck of a giant eagle, killing it in a single slash.

“Fucking Spirit Beasts, they are really like annoying ants, weak but their numbers are so many!” Xiang Shin snorted annoyedly, “ini makes me hungry, I will make this eagle meat into food.”

2 Days had passed, Xiang Shin had now arrived at the central region of the Monster Forest. Several times he had faced off against a Martial Lord-level Spirit Beast, all of whom Xiang Shin could easily kill but he did not intervene and had Huo Cai’er finish them off.

The resourceful Spirit Beast could easily Huo Cai’er defeat using its extremely powerful poison.

“Cai’er, from here we will part,” Xiang Shin took out the fruit he got in the previous auction, “we will split to look for fruit like this.”

A flap of wings appeared on Xiang Shin's back, with one flap he had already moved away from there.

The Moon Lion's claw hit the empty air, but the claw released 3 waves of energy that hit the land, forming a giant claw over 1 kilometer long.

“Grr... Humans, after 1000 years you finally dare to set foot in the Forest of Mosnter! Really brave!”

Xiang Shin raised his eyebrows hearing the Moon Lion turn out to be able to speak. He saw on the head of the Moon Lion that there were 1 silver horn that issued a lightning flash.

“Spirit Beast This is no ordinary Moon Lion. Maybe he was an evolved Moon Lion or maybe another Moon Lion of some kind,” Xiang Shin muttered, he did not lower his vigilance.

“Lion Lord, I came here because I want the tier 9 herbs you keep, if you give me those herbs then I will go straight away.”

“What if I don't give it.”

“Then I will take it by force.”
