The Late CEO
The Part 57

"Mr Dominic." Say someone.

Alex and Jaselyn stopped stepping and turned around.

"Good afternoon Mr Dominic, do you still remember me?" Said the woman currently standing in front of Alex and Jaselyn.

"Sorry, many women have met me. Whether it's a client, a business associate or... Restaurantkeeper. So I don't remember you."

Alex's words made the woman feel awkward, falling asleep she said it in front of another woman.

"You are so happy to joke Mr. Dominic, I am the daughter of Mr. Barley. A few days ago we met while discussing cooperation between our companies." Said the woman.

Alex nodded, "I'm sorry I don't really remember, but what did young lady Barley call me?"

"Ah yes, does Mr Dominic have time? Ah, I mean, I want to....."

"Sorry lady, I'm busy preparing for my wedding with his future wife."

Alex hugged Jaselyn from the side while smiling at Jaselyn.

The two eyes of the woman opened, she could not believe what she had just heard. Because all this time he did not hear if Alex had a lover, even getting married.

(While many already know, it looks like 🤭)

"Oh, is that true? Sorry, i.. I don't know about it, Mr. Dominic." Said the woman awkwardly and disappointedly.

"It's okay, sorry I don't have time."

"Baa.. Okay, no problem."

Alex took Jaselyn away leaving the woman, she had no interest in lingering there. Because they also still have to find a dress for their wedding later.

"He's... Is he really getting married? Why don't I know anything about it?" Said the woman from the Barley family.

Walking together, Alex and Jaselyn enter a store that specializes in selling party dresses.

"Welcome ladies and gentlemen." Said the shopkeeper.

"Yes, please find a party dress for my wife. And look for the ones that aren't too open." Alex said to the waiter.

"Okay, sir, I'll bring you soon."

Alex nodded.

Jaselyn who was not so interested in some of the dresses inside the store was just silent.

"You really don't want to buy another dress, honey?" Alex told Jaselyn.

"No, I don't want to add to my dress."

Alex rubbed Jaselyn's head gently.

"Alex, it looks like the woman liked you." Jaselyn.

"Let it go, a lot of women like me. But I don't care."

"Really?"

"Honey, in front of me there is already a woman who is so beautiful and who I love. So why do I care about other women who like me."

Jaselyn just nodded.

"Don't think about it too much, soon we'll get married. So throw away those thoughts that bother you."

"Yes, I understand."

Alex nodded and smiled.

"Master, madam. This is the best party dress in our store. All these are dresses made by our own shop owners." Said the store waiter while carrying more than 5 pieces of party dresses on the hanging shelf.

"You choose first."

"Alex, I don't know which one is right for me."

"You choose what you want, I'm sure what you choose is the best."

"Alex."

"Pick it."

Jaselyn could only give in, she turned around and started choosing the one she wanted from the party dresses.

"This looks good, this gold color even though the model is quite simple but displays the impression of luxury and elegance." Jaselyn.

Jaselyn picked up the long dress with her arms open, then took it to Alex.

"Alex, is this good?" Jaselyn said as she showed me the dress.

Alex steadied the dress closely, "Doesn't anyone have long sleeves?"

Alex chuckled at the answer from his future wife.

"All right, we'll take this one. But is there no fabric for this dress?"

"Fabric?"

"Yes, I certainly don't want you to wear this open dress without a cloth to cover your arms later dear."

Jaselyn looked at Alex in confusion.

"Master, that dress model is the latest model." Said the shopkeeper.

"Yes, but do you have silk fabrics of the same color as this?"

The shopkeeper looked at the dress that was still in Jaselyn's hands.

"It looks like we have two fabrics of the same color as the dress, please wait a moment. I'll get it." Said the shopkeeper.

"Yes." Yeah."

Jaselyn looked at Alex, "Why should I wear a cloth, Alex? Isn't that gonna get me in a little trouble?"

"No dear, you can put it up to cover both your arms and your back."

Jaselyn could only shake her head hearing all that.

"He's a very possessive man, it's worth it that I almost died at his hands."

Not long after the shopkeeper returned with two pieces of cloth that he had said.

"Master, madam. These are the two cloths I just told you." Said the shopkeeper while revealing the two cloths.

Alex saw and held the two cloths, then took one of them.

"This seems to be better, and the color is more in accordance with the dress chosen." Said Alex.

"Alright, then we take that one." Jaselyn.

Alex nodded, "We chose this cloth. And please pack this cloth and dress." Said Alex while giving credit cards to the waitress.

"Okay, please wait a minute."

"Yes." Yeah."

Alex looked at Jaselyn who was looking out of the store, and smiled because she was about to marry the woman in front of him.

"Sir, this is the dress and cloth you bought. And this is your credit card." Said the store clerk, giving Alex lots of credit and a papgergbag.

"Yes, thank you."

Alex walked up to Jaselyn, "Honey, let's go. I'll take you to lunch first before I go back home."

Jaselyn nodded, "Yes."

Alex and Jaselyn get out of the store and walk towards the eating elevator leading them to the car park.

"What do you want to eat, baby?" Alex said after putting all their groceries in the car.

"How about we eat seafood, I know a good place."

"Well, we're gonna have some seafood this afternoon."

Jaselyn nodded with a smile.

The two of them got into the car, and Alex drove his car to where Jaselyn had said he was.

"Alex." Jaselyn.

"Hmm, yes."

"Is the venue for our wedding already in place?"

"Yes, Leon said if today they start decorating the room that we will wear later."

Jaselyn nodded.

"Why, honey, do you want to see it?" Said Alex.

"No, I'm just asking."

"really? If you want to see it, after we eat we can get there."

Jaselyn shook her head, "No, if I see her now. It won't be a beautiful thing anymore, because I've seen it."

"alright. It's up to you, baby."

Jaselyn nodded.
