The Part 33

Company celebration party day P. The group finally arrived. Alex was ready in his black tuxedo suit, now he was waiting for Jaselyn who was still in the room.

The clock shows at 5pm, which means another hour and a half of the party will start.

"Why hasn't he come down yet?" Alex muttered as he looked at his watch.

Seeing that Jaselyn had no sign of going down, Alex decided to meet Jaselyn in her room.

A few taps rang out in Jaselyn's ears still sitting at the side of the bed, playing her fingers.

The door opened, Alex entered the room and walked over to Jaselyn who was sitting on the side of the bed. Jaselyn who was daydreaming, gasped as she felt a movement beside her.

"Tu... Alex?" Jaselyn said in surprise.

"You okay?" Alex said as he rubbed Jaselyn's cheek gently.

Jaselyn nodded slowly.

"Don't be afraid, I promise no one will dare touch you let alone take you."

"Taa...But.."

"Believe me, I won't let a single person hurt you. We'll see a good show there anyway."

"Per..show?" Jaselyn asked in surprise.

"Yes, so we're leaving now before we're too late."

"Sa... I don't have to come along."

"Jaselyn, this is the first time I've ever attended an invitation in person, because it's usually Leon who represents. So you have to come as my side."

Being a companion means that everyone who comes to the party will know that Jaselyn has a special relationship with Alex. And that would make the Stuart family very sorry for throwing Jaselyn away, who could be close to owner D. Group for the sake of a little funding according to Alex.

"Come on." Alex extended his hand to Jaselyn.

Jaselyn stared fixedly at Alex's eyes, hesitatingly welcoming the helping hand.

Alex immediately clasped Jaselyn's hand as their hands touched and smiled.

"You're mine, I won't let anyone touch and hurt you."

Alex took Jaselyn by the hand, and walked downstairs.

Under the servants seeing his master holding Jaselyn's hand, they smiled happily. Some even say that soon there will be a big party.

In front of the mansion a driver was standing firmly waiting for the arrival of his master.

Alex deliberately used the driver because he wanted to continue sitting side by side and holding Jaselyn's hand. While behind the car there is another car driven by Leon and David.

In the car, Jaselyn said nothing, preferring to look at the road from the car.

"I'll take you somewhere after the party."

Hearing that Jaselyn turned her head and looked at Alex.

"Eumm... Alex?"

"Hmm yes?"

"Bo..could I ask you for help?"

Alex smiles hearing that Jaselyn wants help from him.

"Say."

"I want to go to the orphanage where I live, before I'm adopted by the Stuart family."

"We'll be there later."

"Really?" Jaselyn said enthusiastically.

"Of course it's dear." Alex kissed Jaselyn's forehead which looked so adorable.

Jaselyn's face immediately flushed red from Alex's unexpected kiss.

"You're really adorable, I don't want you to look like you were in front of anyone else." Said Alex.

Jaselyn remained silent for a while before finally nodding her head slowly.

Seeing that Alex couldn't help but kiss Jaselyn's cheek furiously.

"Al's....Alex, in the..front there is..."

Alex glanced ahead and saw the driver from the glass of the car in the middle.

The driver who felt in a sharp gaze by his master, could only swallow his saliva with a hold.

"A. Just assume I'm not here, miss." Said the driver nervously.

Hearing that Jaselyn snorted softly while slightly pursing her lips.

"If it's thought to be non-existent, then what ghost drives this car?" Jaselyn muttered softly but was still heard clearly by Alex and the driver.

"Hahaha, it's okay if you want to think like that, baby."

Alex grabs Jaselyn's hand and puts it on her foot, Jaselyn flinches and is astonished to see that, she wants to pull her hand from Alex's feet, but Alex clasps her hand so firmly as not to let go. Jaselyn left her hand on Alex's feet.

Not long after they had arrived in front of a luxury hotel, where a celebration party would be held.

Alex and Jaselyn who had gotten out of the car looked straight ahead, Alex pulled Jaselyn's hand slowly which had retreated one step back.

"You are my side, so you must stand by me." Said Alex.

David and Leon who had seen two lovebirds from behind walked over.

"All ready, what are you waiting for? Should I buy a rose for you to give to your little lover, young master?" David said to Alex.

Alex glanced sharply at David, Alex was really cold to others other than Jaselyn. David and Leon secretly give Alex the nickname of the melting iceberg.

Although the iceberg has been melted by a young woman named Jaselyn, but her cold aura is still very thick surrounding Alex.

They enter the hotel and walk into a party room, Alex feels Jaselyn's hand, he turns and sees Jaselyn's slightly pale and tense face.

"Don't worry, I'm here." Alex's words appease Jaselyn.

Two guards opened the door for the four of them.

Alex and Jaselyn walked into the room, and all eyes were on them.

They were so surprised also fascinated by the arrival of Alex who looked so perfect.

A few steps they walked began to sound whispered people, who asked about the arrival of Alex along with Jaselyn beside him.

Alex still clasped Jaselyn's hand that was coiled around her arm tightly.

Alex takes Jaselyn to meet with director P. The group congratulates, but before finding out where director P is. Group is located, Alex and Jastanpa accidentally meet with Mr. Yu.

"Good afternoon Mr. Dominic." Greet master Yu while extending his hand.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Yu."

"It's nice to see you come to the company celebration party P. This group. Is this lady your partner, sir?"

"Yes, this is the first party I attended, so I purposely brought my partner."

Alex looked at Jaselyn who was bowing her face, as Alex said to come with his companion.

Mr. Yu looked closely at the couple Alex said, he was a little surprised to find out who the woman next to Alex was.

"Mr Dominic, your partner is..."

"You're right, she's Robert Stuart's ex-daughter, Miss Jaselyn."

"But...She's..."

"Ah I have not apologized to you, when the Stuart family will give their daughter this for you, actually I was the one who kidnapped her so that she does not get to your place.

"Mr Dominic, how can you do that?"

Mr. Yu was silent, he was certainly very upset because what he wanted he could not get, and what made him even more upset was that he would never be able to get Jaselyn, because he didn't dare Alex.

Seeing that Master Yu was silent Alex felt a little satisfied, and he was sure that Mr. Yu would not bother Jaselyn for the sake of his company.

"Submit Mr. Yu, I must meet with Mr. Stanley." Alex said

"Sure, of course Mr. Dominic."

Alex and Jaselyn walked past Master Yu who was still staring at their departure with an unspeakable gaze.

"A.... Alex." - Alex." Jaselyn said slowly.

Alex stopped his steps and turned to Jaselyn.

"What's up, hmm?"

"Better I go back, sa. I feel uncomfortable."

Alex smiled faintly, "Don't worry, after meeting and congratulating Mr. Stanley, we'll leave this place immediately."

Jaselyn stared at Alex fixedly. Alex nodded his head reassuring Jaselyn.

"Baa..Alright."

Alex smiled at Jaselyn's reply.

"Well good night, Mr. Dominic, I'm so glad you're willing to come directly to my company's celebration party." Said Mr. Stanley, the host of the event who came to Alex and Jaselyn.

"Thank you Mr. Stanley, also congratulations to those of you who have worked very hard in building your company."

"Hahaha, thank you, Mr. Dominic."

Mr. Stanley, who had been talking to Alex, realized that there was a young woman next to Alex.

"Mr Dominic, he's..."

"Oh, let me introduce you, he's my partner." Said Alex while pulling Jaselyn waist slowly, to get closer to him.

Hearing that Mr. Stanley was a little surprised, all this time he hoped that he would be able to enter deeper into the Dominic family through his daughter. But hearing and seeing for themselves how Alex behaves to Jaselyn, Mr. Stanley knows that David likes her and will never have a chance to get his daughter closer to Alex.

"Oh, sorry I just found out." Said Mr. Stanley.

"It's okay, Mr. Stanley, I haven't officially announced to everyone either."

Mr. Stanley just nodded.
