The Late CEO
Part 5's
Two days later Alex and Brian attend William's family engagement invitation. They get the invitation from Alex (Leon)'s private secretary who is addressed to the CEO of company D. Group (Dominic Group).
Everyone does not know who the CEO of company D is. The group is hot in the media at the moment. They don't even know if the company's initial "D" is Dominic.
Arriving in front of a luxury hotel in the middle of country city Y, Alex and Brian get out of the car. Leon who became their personal driver tonight helped open the car door.
"You just wait outside, I'll call you to come inside." Alex told Leon.
"Good sir." Leon slightly bent his body.
With a straight look ahead, Alex walked towards the entrance of the hotel, while Brian walked beside him.
A worker at the hotel opened the hotel's main door smiling at Alex and Brian.
The two brothers walked into a large room where the engagement party would be held.
In front of the door that was quite large there were two officers who were assigned to check the guests' invitations. Anyone who does not carry an invitation card is not allowed to enter.
"Good night sir, I'm sorry can I see your invitation card?" Said one of the officers.
Without saying anything, Alex gave the officer an invitation card he had brought.
"Okay, please come in, sir." The officer gave back his invitation card to Alex.
"My guy's still outside, he's called Leon Smith. If anyone named Leon Smith comes looking for Alex, please let him in."
The two officers looked at each other like they were considering Alex's words.
"He is the private secretary of the CEO of the company in D. Group. The person who held this party invited the CEO of the company D. group directly. And now his private secretary is taking care of one outside business." Alex said casually yet carried such a powerful aura.
Hearing that, the two officers nodded in understanding. They also agree to Alex's request, because they believe that the person in front of them is someone who knows the CEO of the company D. Group.
After that, the two officers helped Alex and Brian open the large door behind them.
"Please enter gentlemen." Said one of the officers.
With a definite step Alex and Brian walked into a room that had been filled by William's family guests.
Everyone stared at the door, to see who had entered from the big door.
Because the two men just entered wearing tuxedo suits from famous fashion designers, who will only issue 5 sets of designs every one year. And of course it is very expensive.
Inside the large room, Alex searches for where William's family is. He wanted to see how the family reacted after seeing and also knowing who Brian really was.
A meaningful smile is engraved on Alex's lips after discovering where William's family is.
"Come, let's greet the family that's having this party, my sister." Alex told Brian.
"Of course, big brother, we should say hello to them." Brian said he agreed with his brother.
Both of Brian's hands clenched when he saw a man hugging the waist4ng the woman he loved all this time, and the woman looked so happy to be in his arms.
Alex and Brian walked past some of the guests there. Until they get in front of William's family, Alex and Brian stop.
Laura William and her family were shocked to see Brian standing firmly in front of them. Brian uses a tuxedo from a famous designer, which may be the same price as one of Laura's cars.
"B..Brian." Laura said with a stern voice.
Laura's father, none other than Sean William, walked a few steps forward.
"You, how did you come here? I've never invited a poor man like you." Sean William arrogantly pointed at Brian's face.
Alex let that go, he just smiled with a cynical look and hear every word the old William said.
Brian just kept quiet not answering the questions that were thrown for him, even he did not respond to Sean William who was standing in front of him.
All the guests turned their heads, because Sean William's voice was quite loud, the guests began to whisper to find out what had happened.
"Laura, did you invite her secretly?" Asked Laura's mother who had been quiet beside Laura slowly.
"No Ma, is Mama crazy? Why would Laura invite him, would only make Laura ashamed."
Madam William and Laura looked at Brian contemptuously and also questioningly.
"Sorry Mr. William, I'm disturbing. It's your daughter's happy day, so it's not good to make everyone who has come feel uncomfortable." Alex finally opened his voice.
Alex would have wanted to put the William family to shame, but he still tried to hold it back so that the surprise he wanted to show was more interesting.
