Part 42's

Today is the first day that Jaselyn will set foot in one of Alex's company branches. Because he's going to represent the company to meet with Robert Stuart to discuss work.

Jaselyn stood in front of the mirror, making sure she was ready to go.

He didn't want to let Alex down because of his appearance, so he actually wore such neat clothes.

"You ready?" Alex asked who had walked into Jaselyn's room without knocking on her door.

"I...Yeah, Alex what...Do I look weird?"

Alex looked at Jaselyn, he approached the woman who had made him opiate.

"You're so adorable."

Jaselyn frowned hearing Alex's words.

"How can you say I'm adorable, look at me wearing formal clothes right now." Jaselyn puffed her cheeks and looked into Alex's eyes.

"You've dared to look at me like that, hmm?"

Alex pinched Jaselyn's cheek slowly, because to her it was so funny.

"It's okay. From now on you must be braver, whoever wants to hurt you, you must fight him."

Jaselyn nodded in understanding.

"Well let's go down, before we leave we have to have breakfast."

"What... Brian's coming too?"

"Do you guys still fight each other?"

Alex and Jaselyn came out of the room and walked towards the dining room.

Alex understood the meaning of Brian's words, he then sat next to Jaselyn who had sat first in front of Brian.

After saving the file that Brian said, they also enjoyed breakfast there quietly.

After they finished walking together out of the mansion.

"Brian, do you know what to do?" Ask Alex.

"Of course, brother don't worry."

"You go with Brian." Alex said to Jaselyn, but his hand would not come off Darius' shoulder.

"Yes, but he's really gonna help me, right?" Jaselyn asked Alex.

"Yes, you can tell me if he bothers you."

"I wouldn't trouble him brother, if I could I would've thrown him."

Alex stared intently at Brian, while Jaselyn remained silent and did not respond to what Brian said. Jaselyn knew Brian wouldn't dare to do that to her.

"Are you ready?" Ask Alex to Jaselyn.

"Yes, I'm ready."

"Alright, if anything happens call me."

"Isn't there Brian?"

"So now you don't need me anymore, hmm?"

"Ti's...No, it's not that."

"Here you go, I'll watch you from afar."

Jaselyn nodded in understanding.

After Alex kissed Jaselyn's forehead, the car that Jaselyn and Brian rode in drove away from the mansion.

In Jaselyn's car, silent, she tries to stay calm. Because he was determined that he had to change everything.

"Are you afraid of meeting your ex-father?" Brian began the conversation.

Jaselyn turned her head, and shook her head.

"I'm not afraid, I just don't know what to say if Mr. Stuart says anything that might make me fall."

"It wouldn't have happened, if he had said that then he was already preparing to lose it all."

Jaselyn looked out the window again, trying to understand what Brian was saying.

"You can definitely Jaselyn, they might have been nice to you. But it's been over 10 years that they've treated you unfairly, and all your hard work has been taken away by them."

The car continued to drive until they finally reached a building with a height of 27 floors. The building is dominated by black on the outside, and milk chocolate on the inside looks so sturdy and magnificent.

Brian and Jaselyn got out of the car, and walking into the building, two guards at the front door opened the door for the two of them.

"Good morning second young master and miss lady Jaselyn." Said the two guards.

"Yes good morning." Said Brian who continued walking, followed by Jaselyn who only nodded back the greeting of the two guards.

Inside the lobby, a 40-year-old man walked over to Brian and Jaselyn.

"Good morning second young master and mistress Jaselyn. Sorry I was late to say hello."

"It's okay uncle. Oh right, please show me the files that Jaselyn has to learn before they come."

"Good second young master."

The three of them then walked towards the elevator which would take them to the floor where they would work later.

Arriving there, some employees they passed greeted them.

(Previously Brian had announced to all the employees who were in the company who Jaselyn was, so they already knew and called Jaselyn by the name of mistress).

"Alright Jaselyn, you'll be working in this room for a while. If all the trouble with the Stuart family is over. Then you'll occupy the main room upstairs." Brian said as he opened the door.

"Main room?"

Brian walked in, he sighed softly as he looked at Jaselyn in astonishment.

"Of course, did you forget that my brother made you CEO of this branch of the company? So of course you'll occupy the main room, the CEO's room."

Jaselyn opened her eyes wide, she did not expect that what Alex said earlier was real.

"You... You don't joke."

"Oh come on Jaselyn, is everything not clear yet? My sister likes you so much, I never even saw her so tender to anyone else, other than me and our two parents."

Jaselyn looked at Brian, she still could not believe it. All this time he lived like an unregarded person, the Stuart family had always treated him like a servant.

"Jaselyn, I don't know how you feel about my brother. But if you don't like it because you feel it's inappropriate, then you better talk to him. I'm sure my brother will understand and let you go."

Jaselyn took one step back, she shook her head. Before long Jaselyn lowered her head and she suddenly cried.

Brian who saw that became confused, he did not understand why the woman in front of him suddenly cried.

Brian walked up to Jaselyn and shook his shoulders slowly.

"Hey stop crying, I don't hurt you. Why are you crying? Don't confuse me." Brian Say.

Alex, who received a phone call from Brian, came straight to the company.

And it didn't take long, Alex had reached the room where Brian and Jaselyn were.

"Jassely!" Said Alex anxiously just after he was in front of the door.

Brian and Jaselyn turned towards the door, they saw Alex standing with a grim face.

Alex quickly walked over to Jaselyn who was sitting on the sofa.

Jaselyn immediately hugged Jaselyn's body as soon as she sat down beside him.

"You okay?" Speak to Alex softly.

Jaselyn nodded, she drowned her face on Alex's shoulder.

Alex let go of his embrace and looked into Jaselyn's eyes.

"Brian, what happened? Didn't I tell you to look after her?" Ask Alex.

"A...I don't know brother. We just talk for a minute, then... Then suddenly she cried. I've tried to get her to stop crying, but I can't."

Alex rubbed Jaselyn's cheek gently, "Tell me what's wrong?"

Jaselyn shook her head slowly.

"Jaselyn."

Jaselyn hugged Alex's body tightly, and she soon regained her sobbing.

Hearing Jaselyn's sobbing, Alex patted Jaselyn's back softly, and tried to calm her down.

"Did anyone hurt you?" Ask Alex.

Jaselyn shook her head.

"Then?"

"So why are you crying?"

"I'm just happy."

Alex took off her embrace, then wiped Jaselyn's tears and looked at her in confusion.

"happy?"

"Yes. L'm.. I'm happy because I didn't think that the person who hurt me, and almost made me die, was so loving and protective of me. L'm....I'm..."

Jaselyn did not continue her words, she again hugged Alex's body tightly.

"Please promise me you won't leave me like they did." Jaselyn.

Alex was stunned by Jaselyn's words, Alex returned Jaselyn's embrace and she nodded her head.

"I don't want to feel left out again." Jaselyn said again.

"I promise, even I swear if I won't leave you."

Jaselyn let go of his embrace and looked at Alex.

Jaselyn gave a brief kiss on Alex's lips, and the shock left Alex and Brian still there.

"Jassely... You're..."

Jaselyn lowered her head.

"I... Can I stay with you?" Jaselyn said slowly.

Alex, who heard Jaselyn's slow words, grabbed onto Jaselyn's two cheeks and raised her adorable face.

"Tell me again, I didn't listen to him." Said Alex.

Alex looked at Jaselyn in disbelief and surprise.

Without hearing Jaselyn's words, Alex immediately kissed Jaselyn's pink lips.

Today Alex feels so happy, because finally the person she wanted really said she wanted to live with him.

"You're serious Jaselyn?" Alex made sure.

Jaselyn nodded her head confidently.

Alex hugged Jaselyn's body tightly as if he didn't want to let go.

"Ehem, you're not gonna keep hugging, are you? In half an hour Stuart will be here, and Jaselyn will need to study the files." Said Brian who had been a mosquito repellent in the room.

Alex and Jaselyn, unaware that Brian was still in the room, are shocked.

"You, what have you been here since?" Ask Alex oada Brian.

Alex looked at Jaselyn whose face was blushing at Brian's words.

Jaselyn only nodded in understanding.

Alex walked out of the room after giving a kiss to Jaselyn's lips.

"Take him, don't let old Stuart bully him." Alex told Brian.

"I know, brother take it easy."

Alex leaves the company building, and returns to the main company where the company's top brass have been waiting for him for a long time in the meeting room, because Brian's phone alarmed Alex.
