The Last Elementis's

The Last Elementis's
THE TLE 31

"He's an amagine knight. What makes it like this?"

While Gerald was trying to calm the knight down, Camelia scavenged the bag to look for a rope.

The knight no longer rebelled after Gerald hit him on the shoulder. Camelia gave him the rope she found.

"Quickly tie."

The knight's face paled with black adorning around his eyes. There are dark veins sticking out around the neck until it goes up.

Camelia instantly took out two papers and muttered in front of her. He mentioned Lea and Aron on different papers before folding them into butterflies and flying them.

"I've never seen anyone with symptoms like this. You ever?" Camelia asked Gerald which was answered with a slit.

"Be careful." Camelia's face was too close as she observed the knight. So Gerald reminded him.

Who would have thought the person they thought had fainted suddenly went back into a rampage. Camelia's face was indeed close, but it was a bit far away because she only looked down. Gerald who had tied his hands was still sitting in front of the knight. Gerald could have dodged when the knight's mouth suddenly opened to make him a target.

But Camelia in her short mind immediately thrust her arm until she was bitten.

"Akh!!!"

That was too shocking. Gerald whose reflexes were fast even took some time before forcefully pulling the knight's head away. Not staying silent, Gerald put a lump of cloth to block his mouth that continues to gap.

"Is he an animal? Why does he like to bite?!" Camelia roared in pain. The condition of his body is not good, this bite actually worsens. Not to the point of making blood flow profusely, but the traces left behind had exposed his inner skin.

Luckily, five other knights came to help. Gerald finally has a chance to turn to Camelia's hand.

"You okay?"

"Don't you see I got bitten?!" Camelia.

The bite looks not too bad. However, because Camelia was complaining of pain, Gerald became hesitant if it would not transmit anything dangerous.

Gerald turned his head to the newly arrived knight. "Why is he like this?"

The five people shook their heads. "We don't know. A few days he looked unwell then when he woke up he was acting strange."

"Go and check. He's probably infected with an animal virus."

While the knights took his friend away, Gerald took out a small bottle from the pocket of his robe. He rubbed the green liquid on Camelia's wound. "Why did you give up your hand to get bitten?"

Ringisan Camelia was restrained from anger. "I protect you bo—" This guy really— "See...I had to give up my hand. Are you still questioning my sincerity?"

Gerald of course still did not believe this woman's confession. However, what he had just seen moved his mind to question all of that again.

She really likes me?

Gerald sped up the cloth in Camelia's wound and quickly moved away.

"I've applied the elixir, your wound will heal soon. Don't do that again, I'm not asking you to protect me."

Camelia threw a face. Cih, he's not even grateful.

"Your feet should be okay. Quickly stand we must continue the search"

After saying that, Gerald had already stepped away.

Camelia's gaze showed dislike. "If I hadn't thought about my source of energy, I wouldn't have sacrificed myself. Basic heartless man."

The wound on his arm was slightly throbbing, but it was covered by a chill. No one noticed even Camelia who had just stood up, that on a tree not far from her a bird that had been perching since just now had just flown out of its place.

...•••••...

Gerald did say they were going to find Nory. However, Camelia did not know if the meaning of looking for someone was done with without the need to stop by to ask.

"I don't think until next season we'll find the kid."

Gerald who was walking by his side put on a serious face. "Why can?"

After painstakingly dragging their feet, they finally found life.

Hustle and bustle of the heart of Fordland City presents a crowd. It was nothing if Camelia had found the sight in this cold weather. Then it is no longer surprising after knowing they are entering the market area.

"Maybe it's just me here who's distracted. Cold and survival is obviously something different."

Between the giggles on her lips and the painful pulses on her arms, Camelia had no idea which one she should care about. He then dropped the option on a store to go sip a warm drink. Gerald's whereabouts he no longer cared about. Camelia can look for two people at a time if her stamina is replenished. That's the most important thing.

The herbal aroma of ginger blends with the sweet taste of tea in the mouth. Camelia drank it by letting the mouth of the glass stick for a long time on the lips. The warm sensation that radiated from the throat to the stomach, there was nothing better than this now. However, the fun was a little piqued by the screams that suddenly staged. Simultaneously the atmosphere became rowdy as a petite person ran through the crowd.

"Catch that kid!"

Camelia went to take a look, but she was greeted by a very chaotic scene. The straw wagon dropped some of its cargo ties while an old man beside him just got up and cleaned his elbow. Not until there, two baskets of fruit fell upside down, oranges and apples rolling in all directions.

The cry of an old woman's cry added to the fanfare. He pointed to some ceramic fragments scattered on the ground while looking for who would be responsible.

"Give the boy! Little thief, I have to teach him a lesson!"

Camelia finally found out who was shouting. The newly-emerging, bongsor-bodied middle-aged man looked extremely angry. The crowd closed Camelia's eyes. He was trying to see who the man there was talking to. It was then that Camelia realized Gerald was standing in the middle by holding a small child beside her.

Camelia had to wait for the people to give her a new loophole she could recognize who was the mastermind of the troublemaker. The boy Gerald was holding by his side, Camelia recognized him.

"Nory?"

With that Camelia forced her approach them.

"I know this boy. Let me take care of it."

Hearing Gerald's words, the man was not spitting.

"You think he could just run away? I should at least cut off his hand for daring to steal my wares!"

The man's big mouth was too bold to use on children, Camelia thought.

He looked down to judge Nory. The girl's body trembled with a downcast look. His face and clothes were filled with stains. If Camelia had last assessed her tiny body with the word skinny, Camelia would have said this time Nory was nothing more than skin wrapped in bone. Another thing, this time Camelia did not see a replica of the witchstone with her.

"Hold him." Gerald said as he threw a bag of coins at the man opposite him. "Should that be enough?"

Seeing the man not protest and leave, Gerald turned to the old woman who picked up the ceramic flakes. "I'm sorry to have your dangangkangan broken. Accept this."

The old woman snatched the bag Gerald gave her. Without thanking him, he returned to take care of his things.

Seeing Gerald's action Camelia immediately muttered, "He's quite rich and generous."

Camelia then turns to Nory. He tilted his head to see what the boy had hidden in his hand. His eyebrows instantly shriveled.

"Only two steamed buns?" Camelia glanced cynically at where the previous man was standing. "He dares to say cut off someone's hand just for this food?"

Camelia gently rubbed the top of Nory's coconut and cleaned her face. "You don't have to be afraid. You saw Uncle there...." He pointed at Gerald. "In the future we will go with him. He's got a lot of money. We won't be short of food."

Nory simply hid the steamed bun in reaction.

Camelia continued, "Don't be afraid. We're Uncle Alaric's friends. Where do you live?"

Hearing the name mentioned Nory's eyes widened slightly. Unexpectedly, he backed away and turned and ran away.

"Eh wait!"

Gerald arrived beside her, so instead of chasing after Camelia instead faced her and reported.

"I just mentioned Alaric's name but he ran away."

"You're not after him?"

"Ah yes."
