The Last Elementis's

The Last Elementis's
THE TLE 14

After patrolling Camelia plans to stop by Lea's house for a while . He had already visited three empty houses that he said belonged to missing victims. However, as if this matter only revolved between the kingdom and the knights, the atmosphere that existed in the residential area seemed calm and peaceful. Home that Camelia check—other than bad condition because it has long been abandoned—no suspicious things found there.

Camelia had also interviewed some residents, but their response was flat as if it did not matter. While Aldwin as the leader of the amagine race does not also provide meaningful information.

The only thing that sucks today is the weather. Already entering early autumn, Camelia never had any problems with the temperature of the environment but somehow she started to get distracted with the air that was a little cold. Not to mention for the umpteenth time his search was just in vain. Camelia got nothing but a hand full of dust.

"What the fuck? My expedition is not this low." Camelia entered Lea's house with a bent face. "Working as a garrison certainly won't be this relaxed, will it? Come on, I need a challenge."

Camelia just finished washing her hands with a water barrel in the yard. He regretted having to endure the coldness in his hands.

"Ah shit. The snow hasn't even come down yet but I'm already going to freeze just like this?"

So when looking at a piece of cloth on the table, thoughtlessly Camelia moved to pick it up. He looks around. When she did not find Lea in the front room, Camelia realized she had entered without permission.

"Lea... Are you inside?"

There's no reply.

When she was done with her hand, Camelia looked down to see what she was wearing. His face was flat, before. However, not anymore when he found a carved letter on embroidery on the end of the cloth. It's the letter 'A'. Camelia had no experience of romance but she clearly understood this was the initials of someone's name.

Then as her mind remembered one name, Camelia reflexively threw the handkerchief over to the table.

Not me, not me. I'm not wearing it.

Camelia's mind continued to deny that her unwashed hands had left a brown stain and the condition of the handkerchief had been tangled by the wet imprint as real evidence. However, the perpetrator instead moved away from there without lowering his gaze in the slightest.

The guilt he was trying to deny made his mind momentarily empty. Camelia certainly did not forget that she was in the house of a wizard, but the woman was still surprised to see some objects that allegedly were bags, flying from the inside. Luckily the face he knew immediately appeared afterwards, breaking the dazed thought that had just melodied him.

"Oh you're coming?"

Lea asked as an expression of greeting, but did not get a warm welcome.

Camelia was a little upset and easily forgot her sin. "Good, you almost made me hang with these flying things."

The busy Lea paid no heed to it. The wizard woman caught and arranged one by one the real thing was a tote bag into a larger container to hold everything. There were about twenty pieces when Lea counted them.

"You want to sell everything?"

"Well, of course I have to be paid." Lea replied but her focus was still on those items.

Camelia looked for a chair to sit on. "That much? Tumben once you want to make it."

''Do you forget or do you not know?"

Camelia stared indifferently. "I chose both, so what?"

"I'm so surprised if anyone doesn't remember about the autumn festival." Lea was done with her work and looked at Camelia by folding her hands in her stomach.

As if having gotten her lost memories, Camelia called out 'o' in a long tone. "You're short of money to have to trade there?" ask again.

Aletta massaged her temple. The woman immediately nodded, what was she thinking lately? why is his brain so slow to think?

"Dear Camelia .. I will not change my profession as a merchant." Each said Lea press but still with a tone that remains calm. "Your own mother ordered all this. Do you know where the festival is held?"

Camelia shakes.

"good. The festival will be held in Bree. You know how far it is from Troas to Bree?"

Camelia nodded. "Well, it's pretty far away."

"So if Troas residents want to participate there and need to bring a lot of stuff, what do they need?"

Camelia thought a little and then touched the circular thing on her waist. "Bag mm magic..oo..." The mouth is back. Realizing her inaction, Camelia suddenly asked, "do I look stupid?"

Lea looked at him pityingly then shrugged her shoulders. "I didn't say that."

Camelia paused for a moment, before shaking her head quickly. "Well, before I get any more stupid and forget everything, quickly answer me." Strangely, he suddenly fell silent. "Wait what do I want to ask you?"

...•••••...

Camelia's thoughts these days are like a tangled thread. He was trying to find the common thread of the problem. Starting from the discovery of an empty house that is suspected because the occupants are missing, then a three-way relationship between the cat and the man he followed, to the case of the death of one of the residents of the amagine race suddenly. All of that seemed simple, but upon second thought, Camelia felt this was unusual.

Camelia took a moment to lie down to help her figure out what she really wanted to ask.

When she saw Camelia rise up to take a seat, Lea gave in to her busyness and asked, "Do you remember what you wanted to ask?"

"Done!" Camelia spoke quickly, as if she would forget if she was a little late. The frown on Lea's forehead had already formed, fortunately Camelia immediately explained.

"A few times I felt full without eating and after finding out the reason, I found it was because I came into contact with a man. You think there's this kind of thing?"

Lea's forehead that's almost straight back shriveled."You certain? You're not making up?"

Lea reviewed Camelia's expression, unfortunately there was no trace of joking there. The woman continued, "If the case is experienced by a witch, it still makes sense. This can happen for some people. But .... " There is a momentary pause. "Who exactly is this guy?"

Camelia cleared her throat, slightly offended by Lea's initial sentence.

Has my identity as a witch been erased?

However, he tried to reconcile and replied, "He's just a cat from Elwood. Mm. I mean he's from the Agrios clan."

Hearing this Lea's face became serious.

Very good, Lea finally broke her words and admitted to her as a witch but somehow Camelia felt it was better that the woman did not say it.

"Your honesty is too piercing" said Camelia.

He tried not to fuss any further and digest the essence of Leah's speech. Since the woman said that it was impossible for this case to happen because the person was a man from the Agrios Clan, didn't that mean this kind of thing wasn't impossible? That what he was going through wasn't really something impossible?

Camelia's interest grew.

"Had this case I been through with a witch as well .. can you explain how such a thing could happen?"

Leah started to think. "I don't know for sure, but what you're going through is called 'absorbing someone else's energy'. The sudden feeling of fullness that you feel is caused by the energy that enters your body. Not much do I know, but I've heard the Elementists do it. They could absorb the energy of other magicians with lower strength as long as their energy matched. Maybe this case you're in is the same as that."

The point Camelia caught was "fit". However, from him who failed to become a witch and then associated with a cat from the Agrios clan, where exactly is that match?

Camelia suddenly thought about the soul mate line. It is said that everything becomes possible with the bond of a mate.

Is he my soul mate?

With her thoughts in mind, Camelia suddenly shook her head.

But I don't plan on liking it yet.

Then a moment later he nodded.

Doesn't matter. It doesn't seem like a problem. Even if I had to get stuck with him because of that match line, I wouldn't be so disadvantaged. Because he mm.

Looking at the silent Camelia, Lea immediately asked, "Your question has been answered?"

"Mn, little."

Hearing this Lea who just remembered something then asked again, "By the way you remember the jar of bubbles I once inched to you? I want to show the people an example."

It broke.

"Oh that's yeah." Camelia tried to neutralize her expression. " It looks like it's in Aletta's house."

Camelia stood up from her place.

"I almost forgot if I had an appointment. I think I'm going to go now."

Lea seemed to be wondering, but then understood. He just said, "alright. Please bring it if you remember."

Camelia had already passed through the door, but then raised her head back only to say, "can you not wait? I don't think I'll remember."

In an instant, he disappeared from there.

...••••••...

"So you didn't join the garrison with the members led by Ramos?"

After escaping from Lea's house, Camelia finally meets Aron who is on assignment.

Aron nodded in response. "I wasn't chosen."

Camelia was not sure what qualifications to use to appoint a garrison, but to her Aron did not lack anything to not be chosen. Besides he does have a capable physical dexterity, Aron is also a wizard. If Camelia and Aron are pitted seriously, even if Camelia is awarded an anti-magic sword, it does not guarantee that she will be able to completely defeat Aron. So when this happened, Camelia could not help but feel astonished.

"I'm sure something's not right here."

Aron, on the other hand, did not object to the decision, so he did not respond to Camelia's remarks and instead asked for something else.

"What have you found so far?"

Camelia instantly adjusted to that new chat. "Nothing" he said, "I haven't found anything."

Hearing this Aron's expression showed nothing. After a brief pause, he said, "Ramos is suspecting Alaric."

"Alaric?"

Aron nodded. "He was supposed to live in Elwood, but lately he's been wandering in Troas. I don't know what his goal is but he has drawn Ramos' suspicions."

"Is he the man that the cat was following?" Camelia spoke to herself, but a moment later Aron had already agreed.

"He's there."

Camelia looked up following Aron's line of sight. He smiles.

"So it was him?"

The man Camelia had just found out his name was in a hurry. Camelia was interested in following him. Aron seems to be doing the same. However, not only had they stepped up yet, someone's speech interrupted the movements of the two.

"Aron!" The voice of someone was heard followed by the appearance of the knight wearing armor matching Aron. Camelia recognized this figure.

"What's up, Killy?" Camellia asked.

The knight named Killy bowed her body slightly towards Camelia. After catching his breath, he said, "There are corpses found near the forest. The symptoms are the same as the person before."

Camelia and Aron looked at each other.

Any more?
