The snow is getting heavier. Malfoy's house had already been cleaned, but there were still some knights standing guard around. It has been two days since the incident happened. While they stand guard there, Ramos and other members seek information through amagine leaders and the citizens. Their testimony might be able to give us a clue.
Aletta as a person who knew Malfoy's kindness was quite hit hard at hearing the news. He could not think of the culprit. As people think about this Malfoy, Aletta also thinks a good man shouldn't have ended tragically. However, Aletta became curious as she recalled Camelia once asking something about the man. At first when I heard the words of Camelia, I thought Aletta was just a relationship between them. But after the incident that happened, Aletta started to think of another possibility.
Maybe Camelia was investigating something. Aletta was eager to ask her friend. However, Camelia was nowhere to be seen.
Besides Camelia, of course Aron was still the main one in Aletta's mind. So for the reason of bringing drinks to the knights, the woman almost every time visiting around the house of Malfoy.
"Today, you've been watching all day. The air is very cold. Come and warm your body with this hot honey tea!"
The two people who had come first picked up and sipped the cup without hesitation.
"Miss Aletta, you're coming again."
"This snow almost froze my hand. We are greatly helped by your kindness."
Aletta filled all the cups quickly. He didn't listen too much to that adulation. His focus was on the bigger cup, once it was fully filled, he allowed everyone to drink and take that one cup with him.
"You drink. Warm up your bodies."
Aron was looking around in the side yard when he saw a woman holding a cup coming towards him.
"Mr Aron has worked hard. I brought a glass of hot honey tea. I don't know if you'll like it, but it'll be good to warm up. Drink."
Aron has seen this woman several times. He also knows his name. When he took the cup, Aron thought of nothing but the goodwill of this woman.
"Call me Aron." He received the cup and drank a few sips. "Snow will be heavy. You also have to think about your own body. Don't wander around outside the house."
Oh seriously. Can Aletta faint now?
Gaining the attention of a loved one, Aletta had never felt this happy.
Aletta turned her face in embarrassment. He muttered, "I'm willing to freeze as long as I can stay close to you."
"Sorry, what did you say? I didn't hear."
"Ah no-no." Aletta's body temperature rose to barely feel the cold around. Next to her hand held her face, while the other hand floated slowly in the air.
"It's not cold at all. I'm glad I could help you."
Aron's face was flat, but he welcomed Aletta's intentions. His legs shifted slightly as the woman's hand almost hit him.
"You are a good man."
Praised a second time, Aletta's face instantly met red, while her hands moved once more.
"Ah no need to overdo it. I just want to help."
This time Aron was not alert, he dodged too late when the pleasure hand hit his arm hard.
Unwillingly, the cup that still contained half slipped from his hand.
Oops.
Aron's eyes twitched at the glass lying there. His face was still flat but a sudden shock immediately struck.
"That's okay."
Aletta did not know what to react to. It felt like he wanted to melt immediately and fuse with the snow.
This fucking hand!
Meanwhile, under a tree not far from there, Leah was in the shade holding an umbrella. He has been watching those two since. It seemed that he did not see clearly what had just happened as he suddenly muttered.
"Why do other people's stories always go so easily?"
...•••••...
Gerald arrives at Tirian's residence with Sean. His friend was playing with a bee so when the two arrived at the door of the room that led them to meet the owner of the house, Sean just said to wait at the door.
Inside, Tirian stood beside the bed staring at Camelia.
"Sister."
Tirian shifted from his position and stepped towards Gerald. "You've come. How's things at Troas?"
Gerald was not sure of the answer, he simply said, "The massacre of one family. It's not known who did it yet."
"You're not in to check?" Tirian asked. "It's possible that you could have a vision and could have revealed the culprit."
"no need. It has nothing to do with me."
When Gerald accidentally looks into the bed, words have reached his throat to ask Camelia's condition, but at that time Gerald lost his courage and swallowed her back.
Meanwhile, Tirian who understands his sister's temperament does not dispute further. He remembered their plans.
"Hows it? Have you found Alaric?"
Gerald nodded. "It has. Sean saw him wandering around Midland. I've asked someone to take care of it."
Gerald glanced to the side for a moment before looking back at the older brother.
"We need to get him to talk. But I doubt he will comply. So I'm gonna trouble Brother."
Tirian smiled. "You know I've always cared about you since I was a kid. But you always ignored me and never let me help you. Hearing you ask me for help today, I just thought you were an adult."
Gerald's once enthusiastic face instantly turned irritated. "I'm not young anymore."
Hearing him Tirian chuckled. "Haha all right, all right. Tell me what I can help."
"I doubt that Alaric can be easy to be honest with. So can you come with us to read his mind?"
With a smile still adorning his face, Tirian knitted his eyebrows together, but then he said, "It doesn't matter, are we leaving now?"
With that, the two brothers walked out of the room. Sean, who was standing at the door, hid his hand when he saw Tirian coming out with Gerald. He followed behind them. However, Gerald suddenly stopped his steps.
"Please close the door" she asked Sean.
The man who was told to just nod and follow orders. He remained engrossed in playing with his bee companion, but as he pulled the doorknob, Sean's movements came to a halt as he sensed a strange aura from within the room. Sean was initially a bit hesitant, but curiosity drove him to find courage. He also walked a few steps through the door.
Every step of it led him to feel a clearer aura. However, this clarity cannot provide a full answer. Because Sean only knew where the source was, but he wasn't sure what the aura was. What Sean felt was a powerful energy within, but it looked extremely faint.
Looking at the figure lying on the bed, Sean couldn't help but say, "Who exactly is this woman?"
...•••••...
Using the help of two evolved beasts, the three finally reached the outskirts of Midlan City with an air-path trip that took almost half an hour.
The flying beast that Sean and Gerald were riding on was a heyna that could grow wings, while Tirian used his original form which also had the same ability. The three landed in the courtyard of a small hut surrounded by cedar trees.
Sean led them in.
A familiar man sat on the edge of the bed with his legs and hands tied.
Tirian does not like to talk. However, his mood was a little good making him throw some greetings.
"During didn't meet Alaric. After I stopped working with you, I never saw you again. What have you been doing all this time?"
There is no answer to that question. However, Sean instantly killed the silence.
"Every time I look at this man I feel a dark aura from him."
Tirian raised his head then lowered his head back to stare at Alaric.
"Hows it? Can you explain this?"
Gerald was impatient. "Tell me what you're hiding then we'll let you go."
Their desire was ignored, Alaric even threw his face to the side.
"He won't talk."
Gerald was sure about that. However, Tirian did not appear to have experienced boredom. So he still throws questions.
"Someone reported that a few weeks ago someone saw you walking in Death Valley. If you want to explain what you're looking for there. If it wasn't something that bothered me, I'd let you go. But you have to answer correctly. My sister's friend said there was a dark aura from your body. Mm quickly convince me that I don't think bad."
Unfortunately Tirian still had to be disappointed because again Alaric did not want to open his mouth.
"Kakak—"
"Goodoo. Finally my arrival is useful."
Not delaying any more, Tirian walked over and grabbed Alaric's exposed shoulder skin. Tirian suddenly chuckled as his grip on the press deepened.
"I don't usually use more energy to steal other people's minds. However, since you're a little naughty, I'll give you a special gift."
After saying that, a heartbreaking cry came out from Alaric's mouth. It did not last long, but once Tirian removed his grip, Alaric instantly lost consciousness.
Sean looked in horror unable to guess how intense the pain the man had received was.
"Gerald." Tirian finally made a sound. "We should be worried now. This man was indeed hiding something .. that was a little troublesome to deal with."
Gerald's eyes widened slightly in surprise. "So the creature really exists?"
Tirian did not reply, but his laughter had already made things clear. Sean had no idea what the real problem was so he just stared with his eyebrows linked. Gerald himself was deep in thought. However, everyone's focus was diverted when Tirain returned to voice.
"Gerald, about the problem in Troas—"
Tirian paused, but because he had mentioned Troas, Gerald could not cover up the movements on his body that showed interest.
"Clear Brother."
Tirian turned to look at them.
"It looks like you should ask him when he wakes up about what happened there."
