The Last Elementis's

The Last Elementis's
THE TLE 19

Sean hummed into his house. He held a basket filled with wild berries and some apples. The fruits were immediately washed and transferred to another container. After everything was done, he was confused to see the number of apples that had been reduced even though he remembered having put everything there.

"I'm not going anywhere, but why is it gone?"

Just when Sean turned to look, he flinched almost dropping another fruit when he saw someone sitting on a chair chewing an apple.

"Since when do wolves eat fruit?!"

The quiet Gerald just ignored instead stood back up to pick up one more piece.

"Dessert," said Gerald casually.

Sean became helpless. After putting two berries into his mouth, he said, "Eat, eat everything."

Who would have thought Gerald would come back to his feet and even carry with him his container.

Sean was speechless.

Looking at Gerald who was eating with a blank stare, Sean started to get even, I better see you feverish than being weird like this.

"Where did you bang your head?"

Surprisingly Gerald suddenly put back the fruit container and went to lie down on the cot. Sean who followed with his eyes only became even more shocked.

"What's wrong with this kid?"

...••••••...

"South."

"What?!" Sean became angry. "You've called my name five times, but after that you didn't say anything. "What's wrong with you?"

Gerald rose from his sleeping position.

"I'm just a little.confused."

"What's in Troas? You didn't come home for a few days and I found it to be weird." Sean moves to touch Gerald's forehead. "Surprisingly, this time you don't have a fever."

"It's nothing."

"It's nothing? But you're being like—" Sean's words hang up when Gerald turns out to be continuing.

"....just a mysterious pedophile and a annoying intruder."

Of course Sean the kasmaran god jumped straight from the initial sentence to comment.

"A shitty woman? How thick does it suck your mind?" Sean raised his eyebrows to flirt.

Gerald's eyebrows suddenly shriveled. "I also had a weird dream."

Sean smiled flirtatiously. "What's this woman until you dream of her?"

Gerald's face seriously looked at him. "It's not about him. Sean ... You once said the pendant in my necklace wasn't a simple stone. Please explain why .. I saw someone wearing the same necklace in my dream."

Sean is a descendant of the druids; a race that was once known as rangers. As they live, they derive their strength from natural energy. However, what Sean could derive from the abilities of the druids was just something like being able to talk to animals as well as feeling the energy of all things that were sourced from nature.

So when I first saw Gerald's blue pendant. He immediately stated that the crystal stone was very special.

"Indeed, I felt an unusual energy radiate from the necklace," Sean explained.

"For this necklace I can have sight." It is unclear if this is a question or a statement.

Sean moved from his position. "I thought you were Alpha Samuel's reincarnation. You even lowered his strength."

The confusion that plagued him kept Gerald from interrupting this time.

"But if it's because of this necklace, why now?"

Just hearing that remark, Sean turned serious.

"Color some reason your power doesn't show up. However, we do not know what the cause is. That necklace was around your neck a long time ago and strangely only now does it help you restore your strength...." Sean's words hang as he is unable to draw conclusions from the sequence he forms.

"My strength is not fully returned."

Sean looked at. "Whatchu mean? You said you had a vision."

Gerald shook his head. "I don't always get visions. I don't know how when I try to touch something I want to see, I get nothing. Then when some time I tried to go back, I started seeing her again."

Gerald initially shook his head, but as he recalled Camelia's remark saying about her shining necklace, he immediately nodded. "The neck gives off light."

"That's it, the light." Sean snapped a finger in a radiant face, but a moment later he became doubtful. "But there's supposed to be a trigger."

"I don't understand."

"Materials derived from nature only react when met with something that carries natural energy. I don't know where this stone came from because you never said it either, ah rather you don't know either. From what I felt, the stone was emitting energy that might be equivalent to witchstone."

At this moment Gerald's facial features became complicated.

Sean quickly continued. "It's just my assumptions. Everyone knows that witchstone has been extinct for a long time. I've also never seen the witchstone itself so it could have been wrong, but one that must have been something outside of you that triggered it."

There was a moment's pause for Sean to think back. "Who was next to you at the time?"

Who is near me?

Gerald was silent for quite a while thinking about the answer to that question.

...•••••••...

A week had passed and the promised bidder had finally been completed. In the brackets of that time, Camelia's days were bland. His duty as a garrison was revoked two days ago along with other knights with completely unsatisfactory achievements. There were no cases of death or kidnapping. The figure of the cat he wanted to disturb did not reveal the trunk of his nose. Worse, his protest against Queen Serafina produced nothing.

With this peaceful situation, the royal knights turned to the task of helping the Pyrgos workers to distribute the antidote pills. Camelia and Aron help Aletta divide the bidder in the amagine area. While in the general area there are Mauren and Fiola who are escorted by other knights. Just monitoring and orderlyizing the residents was certainly a tedious job for Camelia.

"Why should we take those pills? They're not gonna poison us, are they?" An amagine woman who was at the very back of the line gossiped while waiting for the queue.

A person with a face that was very deep in the role said cynically." I suspect they're doing an experiment. They're using us to try their experiments."

"really? Should we not drink it?"

Camelia who was standing guard behind hearing this felt the horn on her head immediately appear.

"You guys," he shouted. "You and you." He pointed to the two women who were just gossiping. "Stop marching and go home. And I'll make sure in a few days we'll hear two more bodies being recovered!"

Camelia never wears a suit of armor. He only uses a vintage white blouse with a girdle wrapped around his waist as a top. While his lower body was wearing black leather pants wrapped in knee-length skirt sewing patterns. However, because of her position joining other knights, the women managed to keep quiet. However, a woman with a cynical face threw a scornful look before rejoining the ranks. The whispers are still heard.

Aron who was beside him scolded. "Camel, watch your attitude."

Camelia was only indifferent as she twirled the porcelain medicine bottle in her hands. He had just scolded the two residents who were cons with this antidote pill, but he who was also the same could only accept the bitter reality because he was also an amagine.

"They talk too much. I have a plan to throw this bottle away not as noisy as them."

Aron. "You want to throw it away?"

Camelia nodded. "Why? My body is strong enough so I don't need this pill."

Aron sighed. "You just said it, I don't want to see any more bodies."

Camelia's laughter sounded. "I just scared them. As good people they must obey."

"You too."

Camelia shook her hand.

"No, I refuse to be good."

Aron surrender.

...••••••...

Time has passed a lot, orange color has appeared in the western sky. The line that stood in line was only four people left. Camelia who had seen Aletta up close could not bear to call out to her.

"Allet! You didn't drop the bottles, did you?"

On the previous day, in this state Aletta would definitely come back screaming at least in self-defense no matter where they were. However, this time the woman only looked at him for a while before returning to continue with the task. Obviously this is an oddity that Camelia rarely gets.

Meanwhile, Aron who had just returned after chatting with the other knights, asked as he looked at Camelia's confused face.

"What's up."

Camelia was a little confused, but then shrugged her shoulders.

"either .. just a friend who's having an abnormality."
