The Last Elementis's

The Last Elementis's
THE TLE 30

"No." Gerald forcibly opened Camelia's grip. "Give us two rooms."

Camelia grunts. "You don't have to worry I won't take your bed. I can sleep anywhere."

Gerald ignored. "Sir please take us to our respective rooms."

Camelia's hands were straight outstretched, the road blocked. He turned to the doorman.

"Master. You didn't see my efforts? Why don't you help me by saying there's only one room left?"

The man was caught in confusion. "Sorry Miss, you didn't say it before."

Camelia glared at him. "You are insensitive."

The man scratched his nape. "So one room or two?"

"One."

"Two."

Gerald's lost his temper. He forced his way in. "Master take me to my room. Let the woman take care of herself. He can sleep anywhere."

"You—" Camelia folded her hands in annoyance. "Squeezer. If the weather isn't this cold I've been leaving you since. You ice guy!"

Since Gerald didn't give her a chance, Camelia was forced to look for another room.

But before entering, Camelia felt something was off. It was like eliminating something, but after thinking again he found nothing. Camelia easily decides to forget.

...••••••...

The night the weather gets colder. Camelia came in carrying a pot of hot ginger tea to warm herself up.

The room inside was simple. There was only one bed, one long chair and a fox that depended as a light. Camelia sat near an iron container filled with charcoal. The warmth from the heater was not good enough, but Camelia still appreciated it. It's worse if there's none at all.

After feeling warm enough, Camelia had no idea of taking on other activities. The cold forced him to lie down on the bed. After all today he had already come into contact several times with Gerald. He does not need to fill his stomach so choose to sleep only. However, after a long period of silence, the woman suddenly opened her eyes.

On the other hand, the room that Gerald occupied had a different atmosphere. It seems that the lighting level of the room was deliberately lowered. The owner was lying in bed. But only his eyes were closed, because his mind wandered to think about the events that existed.

Of all the twinkling in the head, Gerald sought the most reproach at all Alaric's utterances. He still refuses to believe. Somehow he was sure Nori could still give him another reality.

After midnight, Gerald still could not sleep. He does not force me to open my eyes. His position has not changed much either. He could still hear the movement of the door.

Camelia was slumping around in the darkness. After making sure Gerald was asleep, he switched to fox to add lighting. He could finally see clearly around. However, when he turned around, someone was already sitting firmly on the bed.

Caught wet, Camelia just grinned. "Ahehe there's something I want to talk to you about."

Not waiting for Gerald to react, Camelia immediately moved to the chair and sat facing him. He said, "You don't wonder how I can get energy from you every time we touch?"

Gerald only looked at it for a while before turning to sleep. "No."

Unaccepting being ignored, Camelia moved to the side of the bed and pulled it. "I'm not done talking!"

Camelia's high voice forced Gerald to move quickly. He sat down and glared at her. "You want to wake everyone up?"

Their position was finally faced with Camelia standing in front.

"You don't want to hear me."

The bed was not very tall, so talking like this made Camelia have to look down to look at Gerald.

Not wanting to provoke any further commotion, Gerald turned his gaze around and said, "Quick say."

Camellia thought for a moment. With Gerald letting her go with him was already an oddity. Camelia had been holding onto this doubt ever since. He should ask.

"You can't just let me come along. Tell me your reason."

That question he did not expect. Gerald immediately thought that this woman was not stupid. However, of course Gerald didn't want to say it.

Gerald was still thinking about what answer he should choose when he felt Camelia was advancing too close to him. As she turned her head Camelia's face only stayed a few inches in front of her. Gerald reflex distanced his body until he was cornered in the mattress. But Camelia's body continued to advance and even overstimulated her body.

It was too sudden. Gerald's heart rhythm is beating uncontrollably. His mind has even wandered. "What are you doing?"

What she doesn't know, Camelia painstakingly gets up while massaging her temple. "Ah, my head is suddenly dizzy."

Gerald quickly shifted to the other side of the bed. Although he finally understood the situation, Gerald still did not calm down so chose to go from there.

But just as he wanted to open the door, a familiar electric shock sensation suddenly radiated into his body. This time Gerald began to understand what was happening, so he resignedly leaned against the wall before finally slumping to the floor. Next the picture was like a movie spinning in his head.

It all ended quickly. Also this time Gerald did not lose consciousness. It seems he can handle it. As soon as his gaze re-recognized the surroundings, Gerald immediately announced one name, "Nory."

Yep. That's what he saw. Alaric and Nori stayed here.

...••••••...

He eats alone. Last night Gerald left so far that Camelia hasn't seen him. They are partners now. Or rather, Camelia needs Gerald by her side. However, never mind. Camelia was more concerned about her current condition. Rather than playing cat-snake with the ice man, Camelia prefers to sit sweet at the dinner table.

"So she'll be back." That's how Camelia comforts herself.

Fortunately, the speech was like a prayer that was immediately answered. As Camelia swallowed the last mouthful of her meal, she had seen Gerald pass by the exit.

He quickly went after. Not forgetting the hood of his robe he lifted to cover his head.

"Hey! Where are you going? Don't forget now I'm your partner!"

Gerald only turned his head slightly, but did not stop for a moment. He said, "I thought you'd stay."

"Omong empty. I told you we're partners now. So you can't leave me."

"If you can't help, at least don't be a burden."

A burden?

Camelia's self-esteem feels smeared. He would protest, but became oblivious when looking around and remembering his condition. He simply said, "If only we had horses. Maybe things will get better."

Speaking of horses, Camelia finally remembered that she had brought horses before.

"It's so good." Camelia lamented insincerely."Sorry Niles. May your horse know the way home."

The guilt that somehow exists makes Camelia spark her path.

"alright. I have to rely on myself."

After his steps were almost parallel to Gerald's, he immediately asked, "So where are we going now? Aren't you too outrageous to keep me walking aimlessly like this?"

"Finding Nory." Gerald finally answered.

"Norin? That girl? Why search?"

"I found a vision of Nory and Alaric staying at the inn. The girl must know something. He was taken care of by Mr. Malfoy. I asked the innkeeper. Nori was seen in this town."

Camelia nodded to the offending remark about the poor man, but afterwards Camelia rolled her eyeballs.

"You kindly explained it all but you didn't want me to hear what Alaric's confession was."

Gerald realized his mistake, but he remained silent.

Camelia spoke again, "So you said a vision? I heard that the Agrios Clan does have special powers. So that's your power? You're not an ordinary cat."

Camelia hits Gerald on the back because the man suddenly stops.

He turned. "I'm not a cat."

"Really?" Camelia involuntarily laughed. "It looks like you've been so distracted that this time you've finally bothered to correct."

Piqued. Gerald turned around and left.

Camelia noticed Gerald's reddened face. "Hey! So what are you?!" Camelia went chasing. "You're angry about that? Oi! I wouldn't call you that if you didn't like it!"

Camelia paused for a moment to laugh. "It's funny.hey wait for me!"

As she was about to continue on her way, Camelia felt the presence of someone behind her. He relaxed to check. Apparently it was a palace knight who served in this city.

Camelia had no interest in greeting so she was about to leave. However, he only realized that the knight was moving towards him. Camelia finally waited a little. As the knight got closer, Camelia found the knight's movements strange. Camelia even heard a stifled growl coming out of her mouth.

"He's drunk this early?"

Camelia's vigilance appeared as the knight ran quickly towards her while thrusting his hand. Camelia dodged until the knight's body fell to greet the snow. As Camelia wanted to help him, Gerald appeared behind her and immediately held his hand.

Unexpectedly, the knight got up quickly and attacked again. Surprisingly, blood suddenly shot out from both of his eyeballs.

Gerald also looked surprised. It was definitely not something good, so as the knight moved towards them, Gerald reflex kicked him.

The knight lying on the ground was even wriggling brutally.

Camelia did not understand what she was seeing.

"What's going on?"

However, Gerald beside him was no better than him. The man also kept the same question.

"Far away, he can bite you."
