Aida looked at the princess with teary eyes, but with all her might she held back her tears from spilling over her face.
Her heart was bitter last night when she overheard the words of Hyuna's in-laws, who said her daughter could not have children. What the iron says may be true, but not necessarily Hyuna can't have children. Maybe God has not given him any children at this time.
Moments later, Mona arrives with her two daughters and Laura who already looks very pretty in a red dress.
"Sit, Laura. Auntie's gonna have breakfast for you,"
"That's not necessary, Auntie. Let me help Hyuna make breakfast."
Hyuna who felt her name was mentioned looked glanced at them, but a moment later she refocused herself on moving the cooked food onto the plate.
Laura moved closer to Hyuna with her sweet smile. "Is there anything I can help you with, Ma'am?"
Hyuna glanced at Laura at a glance, then shook her head. "Sit down, everything's ready." He walked over to the table and put down the breakfast menu he had made.
Laura who was intending to help Hyuna quickly picked up the plate that was near the stove. However, his hand was accidentally hit by the outskirts of the stove which of course was still hot.
"Aw!"
Prangs.
The sound of a dropped plate echoing in that place made everyone jump in shock. Especially accompanied by the cry of someone who makes the atmosphere grow boisterous.
"Are you okay, Laura?" Mona pulled Laura's reddened hand and then doused it with cold water making the woman grimace in pain.
"I-I'm fine, Auntie."
Seeing Laura's reddened hands, Hyuna immediately walked into the living room to pick up the ointment so that the wound on the woman's skin did not get worse.
"What's up, Dek? Why so much noise?"
Hyuna who had turned around and was going back to the kitchen paused her steps when she heard Aksa's voice. She turned and looked at her husband.
"Mas is up?"
Aksa nodded while looking at the P3K box that was in Hyuna's hands. "You're hurt, Hyuna?" Suddenly he became anxious and worried.
"No. Laura's hand was hurt, and I got it"
Hyuna had not yet finished her words, Aksa had already passed away leaving her and walked towards the kitchen making her speechless with cengo.
"Are you okay, Laura?"
Everyone turned to look at Aksa, as well as Hyuna's mother who was near the sink. Hyuna herself walked behind Aksa and placed the box she brought onto the table.
"Look at your wife's actions, Aksa. Because of her, Laura's hands turned red," Mona said, making Hyuna and the others gasp in shock.
Aksa immediately looked towards Hyuna for an explanation, while Hyuna herself looked at the in-laws sharply.
"What does Mom mean? Why am I being blamed?"
Hyuna felt unacceptable because she was indeed innocent. He didn't even know what had happened to the woman, and why it would hurt his hand like that.
"It's not Hyuna's fault, Auntie. But it's my own fault."
"Yes, Mom. Sister Hyuna does not know anything, even blamed anyway," said Rubi, the youngest brother of Aksa.
Mona looked at Rubi sharply to make the child silent and not interfere. He then looked back at Hyuna who was still staring at him nyalang.
"Your body is still hot, but why don't you worry about Laura? Are you trying to get him hurt on purpose, Hyuna?"
Hyuna was astonished by what her in-laws had said. Why was he the one to blame because the stove was still hot? Did he know, if that woman was going to hold the stove that was clearly just turned off?
"Mom, I know-"
"Already, Son."
Hyuna could not continue her words when she heard her mother's voice, and Aida's mother looked at her while shaking her head.
Aksa himself felt dizzy. He then chose to sit down and take the ointment that was in the P3K box.
"Come, Laura. Let me take your hand."
Laura nodded and extended her hand towards Aksa, while Mona still wanted to invite Hyuna to a fight.
"Hyuna, please accompany me forward for a while," Aida asked. He knew that if his daughter was currently being emotional, if left unchecked then it was not good for the relationship between the in-laws and the daughter-in-law.
Hyuna took a deep breath and then exhaled violently. He turned around and followed his mother to get out of the kitchen.
Mona smiled when she saw Hyuna leaving, she then looked back at Laura's hand that was being treated by Aksa.
"Next time you have to be careful in the kitchen, Laura."
Laura nodded her head with a bright smile, she was happy that Aksa was still as attentive as she used to be.
"You're right, Aksa. I don't seem to fit in the kitchen like your wife." Laura chuckles to make Mona hot again.
"What to be proud of in the kitchen? Look, your hand is hurt by Hyuna's carelessness."
Again Mona accused Hyuna of being the cause of the morning commotion, even though what she was accusing was completely untrue.
Rubi who heard the mother's babble passed away from the kitchen, as did Raisa who was Aksa's first sister.
Laura glanced at Aksa to see the man's reaction to what Mona said, but it seemed that Aksa's facial features revealed a disbelief with frustrated breaths.
"I told you none of this was Hyuna's fault, Auntie. Anyway my hand is fine, so there's no need to discuss it anymore."
Laura smiled as she patted Mona's hand for the woman to stop talking about her hand, or Aksa would feel even more dislike.
"You're very considerate, Laura. It's lucky that aunty has a daughter-in-law like you."
Deg.
Aksa looked at her mother sharply, as well as Hyuna who had returned to walk into the room.
