Ch43 Forging Level 1

"Teacher really gave a very difficult practice, I think the teacher was just joking," Asta muttered softly as he left Manager Row's room, leaving behind, he also entered one of the rooms that was not used to start making Artifacts.

"What am I supposed to do with this..?" He said in his heart thinking to create what.

After a while of thinking, Asta finally thought of making an Artifact that might have a very high success rate even more it was just a simple artifact, namely a needle.

Asta began to put the material into the furnace starting the smelting process. Until a while later the furnace exploded resulting in its first failure in trying to make two artifacts with only one material.

The Forging Masters who were currently refining the Artifacts in each room wondered if one of them had detonated a fire furnace, the masters then laughed thinking that one of their co-workers had made a mistake.

A while had passed since Asta started the forging process now it was the second time he had detonated a furnace of fire. The Forging Masters instantly laughed again hearing someone detonate a fire furnace.

Upset at Asta's laughter was determined to succeed this time, because otherwise he would not succeed at all. It was impossible for him to be able to create 3 Artifacts with just one material.

Time continued, but the Forging Masters who had been waiting for the sound of exploding flames again did not get anything.

This time it was Asta's first success in the practice, his face was filled with smiles.

He resumed his training until the Forging Masters who had been curious about who blew up the furnace and checked the room. Now the Masters stopped laughing and talking about it because they saw Asta as if he was practicing, they corrected little by little every move that should not be necessary, asta also gets better in every process.

Until the night that the Association Forging Masters had wanted to rest on the other side Asta was still fixated on his training, just as he refined the last 2 artifacts his teacher had come into the room.

Flares opened his eyes wide to see that his student was actually doing what he wanted.

'This kid is really doing really well, ' he murmured inwardly.

Flares settled there watching every movement of his students, he found there were still many mistakes that Asta did but at least he really developed very quickly compared to him yesterday. He thought maybe the Forging Masters in the Association had helped him a little to develop.

A while later the final purification was completed, his face was filled with a smile of pride.

"I finally got it done, now I....."

Just now Asta turned around wanting to return to his room to wait for his teacher to return. Asta was gaping wide to see his teacher who was at the door.

"It looks like you're late, my beloved student," Flares said as he walked closer.

"But my teacher has....." Not yet had he said it clearly Flares directly lifted one of his legs and started beating his butt.

"This is the punishment,"

An hour later, Asta had just returned to his room, Manager Row, who saw him walking with his butt, asked what had happened.

"Asta what happened to you? Did the forging exercise make your ass sick?" Ask Manager.

"Not that, but my teacher did. Teacher is really inhumane when I have completed his request," replied Asta slowly who was then only replied with laughter by the Manager.

Upset that Manager Row was laughing at him, he entered his room to recover.

The next day Asta woke up early in the morning, just before his teacher woke him. Sure enough his teacher this time came with a bucket in his hand.

"Ahh, so my beloved disciple has woken up" he said, trying to smile sweetly.

"What a smile!" Asta shouted at him.

Flares let out a small laugh with Asta's behavior, he gave him some more material and told him to practice after that he went back with Zaru who either Asta himself did not know where he went.

It had been a few days since Asta had practiced forging, but with the direction from his Master things that should be quite difficult to learn became very easy. You could say he was currently a tier 1 Forger even without a Forging badge though.

Asta goes out of his room intending to visit Master Senpu to retrieve his artifact.

"The Sky Slaughter Sword is already contaminated by the aura from the Night Demon Sword, who would have thought that a Legendary Spirit Artifact could have this kind of effect," Asta muttered as he sighed softly, it was indeed positive that the sword had evolved into a Spirit Artifact and had even risen by a level but, now it had the same ability as the Night Devil despite being only about a quarter of its ability.

Due to this the Heaven Slashing Sword became a name change to the Dark Sky sword, although his soul power had increased due to forging training but it was not enough for him to be able to survive the sword aura.

You have to increase your soul power first if you want to use it again, just like what his teacher said to him.

"Junior, where did you get that kind of mask, can you tell me where to buy it?" Asked Yuan Tiandu who was interested in buying the mask that Asta was wearing, the mask with fire motif resembled a wolf head.

The reason Asta wore the mask was to hide his identity that he currently knew, the mask was one of the artifacts he created himself during the few days he practiced.

"I got it from the Manager, if the senior wanted maybe I could ask Manager Row for the senior" he said, lying about the origin of the mask.

"Ahh, it doesn't seem necessary that I'll just buy it later," replied Yuan Tiandu with a small smile.

"Where do you want to go?" Ask Yuan.

"It's been 6 days as Master Senpu promised, I'm going to his residence to retrieve my Artifacts" Asta replied.

"Junior wants to go there, well I'll accompany you," he replied with a faint smile.

"No problem,"

Arriving at the residence of Master Senpu who now looks lonely without visitors at all, two young men who Asta had previously seen were calming the queue, now seen being joking on the terrace.

"It seems that today only the two of us came here" Yuan said.

In front of the entrance gate was seen General Nolan who was standing behind the gate, General Nolan squinted his eyes at Yuan who came with a masked figure.

Asta then took off his mask to reveal part of his face, but General Nolan smiled after learning that it was him.

"Is that really General..?!!" Yuan asked in disbelief.

"Hey, how did you know?" Ask the general in wonder.

"I'm just guessing it because right now I can't read a single bit of the General's strength, right now even if I use it it looks like the General won't have any problems," said Asta who then returned laughter by him.

General Nolan then escorted the two of them to Master Senpu's room.

In the room Master Senpu was cleaning his furnace, he looked back and realized that someone was knocking on his door.

Master Senpu then told the two of them to enter his room, while General Nolan again stood guard at the gate.

"It just so happens that I just finished refining your artifact, take this," Master Senpu gave Asta's order earlier.

Master Senpu looked surprised upon seeing the storage ring that Asta was wearing. The ring looked different to him with the storage ring mostly because of its pitch-black color.

'This-?!! Where did this child get it from, isn't this a storage ring equivalent to a storage bracelet, there is only one person in this world who has his method that is the Master, Inner Master Senpu wondered.

"Whoa..!! Master can I try it?"Asta asked enthusiastically looking at the gloves.

"Ahh, after all it is yours of course you can try it. His name was Thorn Taring Claw was a level 4 Spirit Artifact. The left claw has the ability to conduct electricity to shock the target, while the right claw has the ability to poison blood" explained Master Senpu about the ability of the Thorn Claw.

Asta started wearing the claws and tried some simple movements.

"Do you feel it's comfortable to use, Asta?" Ask Yuan.

"Yes, it seems that these claws can adjust their own small size. Master, what do I pay for these gloves?" Ask Asta.

"No need, all of his refining fees were already paid by the Manager a few days ago. He told one of his confidants to take him to me" explained Master.

"Are you going to start your journey back, Asta?" Yuan asked after they left Master Senpu's residence.

Asta nodded, "Yes, as I said before I will represent the Association and go to Hansu City for more fighting experience" he replied with a smile.

"Well then accept this, don't forget to tell me when you've got there. This Jade is the Communication Jade, it just so happens that I am also in charge of delivering the participants representing my Family in the Tournament, so we will meet again there," he said while giving the communication jade.

"Ahh, then why don't we just go together isn't our goal the same?" Tawar Asta while receiving the communication jade.

"Here we go, let's leave soon, we will likely arrive in 10 days' journey, while for the Tournament to be held in 13 days, we have 3 days in Hansu City to prepare," bring Manager Row.

They left Tiandu City for Hansu City where the Martial Arts Tournament was held.

The journey seemed smooth without hindrance, though Asta saw some of their Unseen Beasts as if avoiding them. Asta was surprised by this. Because, when he was with Ace he was always disturbed by the Unseen Animals whenever the Unseen Animals saw him.

Seeing Asta's astonished expression every time they passed by the Zaru Gharib Animal concluded.

"Are you thinking why they didn't attack us?" Said Zaru, Manager Row also looked at Asta.

"Yes, 'cause I had to hide and avoid them before. But now they look like they don't care at all even though they're staring at us" he said.

"Hahahaha," Manager Row and Flares laughed.

"Asta, supernatural animals have a strong instinct for danger, let alone to intercept if they see us they will try to stay away. With Zaru spreading his aura continuously it is impossible for any supernatural animal to dare attack us" the Manager explained.

"But isn't the Godly Wolf Race also one of the 11 Ancient Animal Races? Then why was it that when I was with Ace I even had to take pains to hide, even though I was hiding back then there was still a Blue Feather Lion attacking me. Does the Godhead Wolf Race not have the aura of oppression like the Horned Bear Race?" Said asked.

"Hahahahaha," this time Zaru who was laughing loudly heard it.
