The Heavenly Road: God Hunters

The Heavenly Road: God Hunters
Chapter 013 His departure (revision)

Deep in the endless Ocean, there was a land that stretched from South to North. The land was called the Heavenly Continent Realm, a place that held high power as an absolute thing.

In a world that prioritized cultivation, everyone was vying to increase their strength to become a high-level cultivator. Up to now, the feud between cultivators in the fight for resources and power was still the main topic of every war. Heavenly Art, Artifacts, Medicinal Pills, and other precious resources became the reason why many cultivators faced death.

In the past, humanity was on the verge of extinction because the powers of other races who had from birth inherited their ancestral blood as heavenly mighty beings. For thousands of years, mankind lived as slaves of other races and was colonized. They could only hope for the coming of justice from the Heavenly Law that would free them from the destiny of slavery.

Finally, something that had been awaited for thousands of years in the tribulation period of mankind, a human youth born from a humble background came to the surface. His appearance shook the land and oceans in the entire region of the Heavenly Realm Continent.

Its emergence is like a catastrophe that brings destruction to the oppressors of mankind. With his peerless strength and an eternal-looking body, he single-handedly leveled the 12 Palaces of the Ancient Unseen Beasts Race along with his higher-ups who possessed absolute strength and were able to flatten the entire Heavenly Realm Continent.

In the battle, the entire region of the Heavenly Realm felt the effects, the earth shook violently, the mountains exploded, lightning and thunderbolts boomed, and, and the sea of floating oceans accompanied the course of the greatest battle of all time.

From the results of that battle, the Heavenly Realm Continent was split to create several separate islands until now. Then, in the next few generations, the human race began their great movement by establishing their own territory at every point of the Heavenly Realm Continent. From that movement, the creation of 6 large regions and several small regions that have survived to the present.

Among those regions, the strongest was the Gitou Land, the gathering place of cultivators in the Heavenly Realm Continent and the establishment of the 12 Imperial Palaces of the Ancient Gharib Animal Race. Subsequently were Jian Wu Empire, Han Empire, Arkhan Empire, Yun Empire, and Hong Empire.

In addition to the Gitou Mainland and the 5 Empires, there were also small countries that had their own territories. There are approximately 6 countries, namely the High Cliffs, Sand dunes, Cursed Valleys, Heavenly Lands, Forging Mountains, and Protective Lands.

Although the strength of a country is not comparable to an Empire, but its strength does not mean it is weaker than a great Sect in an Empire though.

Deep in the interior of the Heavenly Forest, in the Huo Province of the Holy Land of Fire, lies the Hidden Temple Village, the new location of the founding of the True Fire Flame Sect.

"No! Nah! Nah! I'm sure he's just practicing increasing aura control in the forest, and it seems he's trying to hide his aura. That's why now I can't feel her aura" muttered Asila Moegi as she ran, trying to convince herself.

Asila Moegi maximized her running speed in order to arrive early in the last place she felt the aura of Asta Raiken. Although along the way he tried to convince himself, but his premonition did not go away, until finally his tears were unstoppable.

"No..!!! Why do I always think negatively? Where could he go without packing and saying goodbye to the others!" asila Moegi shouted, wiping her tears. Moegi accelerated his footsteps.

Previously, after creating chaos in Asta's house along with others, Asila Moegi returned with her parents who seemed to be acting suspicious. Especially her mother, Lan Yue Ru, who very rarely invited her to practice the match, suddenly asked her to practice the match, with the record that no one should leave the fight before the training was over.

During the practice, Asila Moegi realized that her mother was really serious about using her power as a Great King Cultivator. Asila Moegi who was only an Expert Cultivator felt overwhelmed by the attack after attack launched by her mother. Later, Asila Moegi gets a bad feeling, and in fact, she can no longer feel the presence of Asta Raiken or any object she keeps in her pocket to always be able to track him.

Without a word, Asila Moegi left her residence to head to the last point where she felt it.

"Moe! Where are you going?! We're not done!" shouted mother.

"With the witness of the Heavenly Law, I promise I will deviate from your teachings if father and mother stand in my way at this time!" moegi replied, leaving the two of them silent, unable to do anything.

"The boy was really brave. I hope Asta is gone by now," said Asila Ryu, exhaling slowly.

"Children today are really easy to mention the Heavenly Laws," lamented Lan Yue Ru, who also could not help but leave, fearing that her daughter would deviate to a perverse path.

Ryu and Yue Ru walked following their daughter from behind, yet by giving her a fair bit of distance away from her. Because anyway, they had already planned this with Helio.

---

It didn't take long for Moegi to reach his destination. He was a little surprised to see Kenshin who was also there, staring towards the border. Sensing his arrival, Kenshin turned around with a puzzled look on his face.

Kenshin is shocked when Moegi suddenly appears behind him shortly after Asta leaves. He even wondered how Moegi could have known that Asta had left back then?

"What are you doing here? Where's Asta? I'm sure he should be practicing aura control here? Where's she?" moegi exclaimed at Asta's whereabouts while looking around.

Kenshin shook his head slowly, "Asta? I don't know, I don't know. I was alone here. Who do you think he is until I always have to follow him." replied Kenshin with a cry. But inwardly, Kenshin wonders about how Asila Moegi was able to quickly realize Asta Raiken's departure.

But unfortunately, Kenshin is not as good at lying as Zaraki. Just from the look in her eyes, Asila Moegi instantly knew that she was hiding something from him.

Asila Moegi glared at Kenshin, "Don't joke Utake! You're not good at lying, because your eyes explain everything clearly. After all, I have something that can make me feel the air of his existence as long as he is still around the True Fire Flame Sect, but all of a sudden I do not feel it. Stop pretending and tell me where he is now...?" Ask Asila Moegi once again.

Realizing his efforts were in vain, Kenshin breathed a slow breath. He looked down, looked at the place on his feet, unable to look directly into his eyes as if he could read his mind.

"Don't think you can hide something behind me, fucking Utake! Tell me where he is?!" Force Moegi while tightly gripping the collar of his shirt.

But Kenshin did not answer the question; rather, he could not tell him about Asta who had crossed the border for his purpose. It aims to give Asta more time to go further.

"Huhhhh..!! You fucker! Well, if you don't want to talk, let me go find him myself!" His words were ignored. He let go of his grip and walked to his side.

However, before he walked past him, Kenshin Utake immediately raised his right arm with the intention of blocking him.

Asila Moegi frowned, asking what the purpose of her hand was, "I asked nicely, you didn't answer. Now that I want to find it myself, you're in the way. What do you really want, huh, fucking Utake?" Speak with a high tone. Since then, he felt like Kenshin was trying to hold him back, which actually made him even more upset.

"Keep your hands off me, motherfucker!" Moegi snapped once more as he felt himself being ignored.

However, even though Asila Moegi had snapped him in a high tone many times, Kenshin Utake did not budge in the least. No matter how hard Moegi yelled at her, Kenshin seemed to have no intention of letting her go.

Asila Moegi's patience was tested at this time, whether she would hit him or obey him. However, both of them are not the choice he wants to choose, because the purpose here was clear that he wanted to find the existence of Asta Raiken that he could not feel the air of his existence.

Moegi tried to catch his breath and slowly retreated and turned to choose another path. But unfortunately, Kenshin did not stay there when Moegi moved away from him. Moegi knew Kenshin was trying to hold him back, so he thought of a way to get through him in one fell swoop.

"Damn it! What exactly do you want from me, huh?! Step aside and don't block my path, Kenshin Utake!" Shouted Moegi in anger as Kenshin again blocked him.

After being yelled at by him several times, Kenshin finally lifted his head, while looking fixedly at his eyes, until making him uncomfortable with that gaze.

Stared like that, Moegi snorted in annoyance,"What..?!!" Ask someone who feels uncomfortable about it. He went back and chose another path, but the same thing continued to be done by Kenshin.

In the end, Moegi was no longer able to hold back his emotions after many times Kenshin prevented him from passing. Asila Moegi shook Kenshin's hand and forced him to remove it from his presence. However, who would have thought Kenshin's hand was very difficult to move, even with all her might Asila Moegi tried.

"Who do you think you got in my way, huh?! I don't have time to take care of you right now. If you keep getting in my way, for the sake of..."

"For the sake of the Heavenly Law, you would be perverted if I kept you here, right? Enough with your childish nature. If you insist, there will be no chance for you in the future to see him again" Kenshin said.

Kenshin smiled, because this was what he was looking for, and his goal was to hold him back as long as it was to make him emotional and forget his purpose.

Looking at the smiling Kenshin, Moegi grew full of anger, "Bad! Dare you underestimate me, huh, fucking Utake..!!"

Although Kenshin dodged and resisted his attack, he had no intention of counterattacking. The goal was indeed from the beginning to keep him from chasing Asta.

The longer, Asila Moegi grew more and more blind in her attacks. Just dodging alone was not enough, let alone as a fellow Cultivator of the Expert Realm, even though Kenshin himself was treading the Blade Path and Moegi was treading the Way of the Spirit Master.

The two fought hard enough that Moegi was unable to hold back his tears. His heart was really sick as if he had lost something that meant a lot to him.

Asila Moegi began to curse harder while continuing to attack blindly. Without using his sword, Kenshin could not avoid or resist his attacks which were Spirit Masters who were deep in elemental control. Kenshin continues to receive the attack just so that Moegi does not leave the place.

Slowly, Moegi's attack slowed down and his strength decreased with each attack. His deep feelings are no longer able to control him, until finally he can not finish his blow.

With her last fist still lodged in Kenshin's chest, Asila Moegi bowed silently, enjoying her increasingly swift tears. He also realized that no matter how much he vented his anger on Kenshin, it would still not restore what had happened, including the departure of Asta.

"Why.. Hiks..why are you blocking me. hiks.after all is he not behind you.hiks.. " Said Moegi stammered, with a face full of hope for Kenshin's answer.

"No. Asta, he's not here anymore. He left an hour ago, leaving the sect also leaving us to continue his struggle" Kenshin replied.

"You.. hiks..you lied, didn't you, Kenshin?! Hiks.. how could Asta leave without talking to anyone..! Hiks. You're a liar..!" He said in disbelief.

Without many words, Kenshin hugged her tightly, "I'm sorry, but this is his decision and we can't force his will to stay. Even though he left, it does not mean there will be no more opportunities for us to be together again," he said slowly in Moegi's ear.

Hearing that, inevitably Asila Moegi must accept the fact that Asta really has left her. He began to cry loudly, accompanied by Kenshin who let him pour all his sorrow.

The thing that was beyond estimation was that he would vow to hate her for the rest of his life. But the reality is precisely inversely proportional to what Kenshin thinks, it turns out that behind all the hostility nature that Moegi shows Asta so far, is just a mere mask that he deliberately put to hide his feelings.

Not far from them standing, there were Lan Yue Ru and Asila Ryu who were also watching them from a distance, including how Kenshin was trying to hold her back.

Asila Ryu, who had been aware of it for a long time, only let out a slow breath, "In retrospect, she really looks a lot like you," he said that meant Lan Yue Ru.

Lan Yue Ru just remained silent while blushing in embarrassment hearing that. Lan Yue Ru herself was unaware that her daughter had fallen in love at first sight at the age of just 10. Although he himself is not sure if Moegi really fell in love or just feel like losing his best friend.

After a while, Kenshin was surprised because suddenly Asila Moegi was unconscious. Asila Ryu and Lan Yue Ru came out of hiding and walked over to him. Seeing the arrival of these two Hall Elders, Kenshin immediately gave his greetings to them. After that, the pair of parents thanked Kenshin and Moegi's problem was resolved.

Now Kenshin knows the reason behind the resurgence of Moegi's desire to leave the village is none other than Asta. Kenshin returns to his residence to report this to his father.

---

"Teacher, is there really such a place?" Asta asked, not believing in Ace about a place that could increase the efficiency of his training speed.

"Bad brat! Don't you believe my words, huh?!" timpal Ace has now returned to the form of an adult wolf.

Asta narrowed his eyes, "It's not that I don't believe it, it's just that the rotation of the heavenly source in the Hidden Temple Village alone is as great as it is to practice. Is there perhaps a better place than the Hidden Temple Village? That's what I'm asking," Asta said.

Flares, who saw the two of them slightly did not get along, chuckled, "Of course there is. But usually places with such privileges keep a big secret behind them. After all, one of the places he wanted to introduce you to was the same place I originally wanted to select for you to be my student," he explained slowly.

Hearing that explanation from her Master, Asta nodded his head, "Then what is the name of the place that can increase the efficiency of my training? Let me guess, his name must be the Heavenly Land, right?" abugn.

"Why do you shut up if he speaks?!" Ask Ace, what he meant was Flares.

"Because he's my teacher. I can trust her every word" Asta replied.

"So you think my words are unbelievable, huh?!" Shouted Ace, while glaring at him.

"Of course I believe. So what about my previous guess?" Asta said.

"Yes, you're right. That place is called...."

"I'm right, I'm right!" Cut Asta fast.

Ace snorted annoyed when his words were cut, but he continued, "That place is called the Valley of Hell," he said which immediately made Asta surprised not to play.

"Well...?! Glue- Valley Ne-Hell you said?!" Shouted Asta instantly stopping halfway, about to turn around and return to the Hidden Temple Village. But before that, Ace immediately pulled out a rope which he then tied to him in just the blink of an eye.

"NO...!!! I DON'T WANT TO GO TO THAT SCARED PLACE...?!!" Asta did not care and tried to escape, but Ace remained firm and threw it on his back.

---

A few hours later, the day began to darken, and sunlight began to dim at the end of the horizon. Ace decided to stop for a moment to rest, although the exhausted one was not him but Asta who looked resigned with a deathly pale face.

Along the way, Asta kept asking to be taken down, but Ace ignored him altogether. Asta imagined how dangerous the place called the Valley of Hell was, because according to his mind it was impossible that a place with such a terrible name would be a peaceful training ground.

"Excite, don't you want to get stronger faster. If you drown without this life expectancy, what will happen to your two waiting parents?" flares said with a laugh.

"But Master, I don't need that fast time to go to such a horrible place. I still love my life" Asta said slowly.

Ace laughed, "That's just a name. It does not describe how dangerous the place is. In fact, it is precisely the place is a beautiful valley with a variety of green scenery and natural forests, plus the many various types of medicinal plants that we can use to help your practice."

Hearing that, Asta did not believe it. After Ace untied him, Asta just sat still hugging his own knee.

After a while, Flares convinced him and told him many places that had beautiful names, even though his reality was very terrible. Eventually, Asta began to believe. His spirit was again burning after Flares promised to help him to practice Aura Control and Spirit Control, as well as allow Asta to train the Dark Fire God's Heavenly Book. It was a Black God-level Heavenly Book that contained a collection of high-level fire element control fighting arts that were perfect for Spirit Masters with fire element-type Spirit Essences.

Luckily, their location stopped not far from the river, so as long as Ace lit a fire, Asta was in charge of catching fish in the river. Although a little time-consuming because of the conditions that have been night, Asta finally managed to get one fish as big as a buffalo, which turned out to be a rank 1 Gharib Animal.

After eating, Ace called him over to talk about the Spirit Agreement Contract they were about to enter into.

"Now too?! Are you really sure you want to be my Spirit Animal, Ace?"
