Kenshin felt that his understanding of the way of the sword was increasing to the level of a master. However, due to relying solely on his own training without an opponent, Kenshin had no idea how far his abilities had progressed. Therefore, Kenshin decides to look for a supernatural animal as opposed to his training.
He walked deeper and deeper through the forest, circulating his gaze looking for anyone who could be used as an opponent.
After a while, his ears caught the noisy sound of a fight that was quite far from where he stood. Kenshin narrowed his eyes looking in that direction, but the trees blocked his vision.
Alertly, Kenshin's fighting instinct was instantly activated. His sword is ready to launch an attack when necessary. His mind was turbulent, his mind guessing that the voice came from a fight between a usurper and someone who might be defending his treasure.
However, his mouth gaped wide after knowing that his conjecture was wrong. Apparently the voice came from Moegi who was practicing just like him.
Kenshin held his arm, standing leisurely watching him who was practicing. It does not feel good if it bothers him who is in full concentration.
Moegi made complex moves that were even difficult for Kenshin to follow, looking like a good dancer but also looking like a fire cannon that exploded at all points.
Inner Kenshin wondered, "His Spirit Control reached the highest level, Moegi was truly a genius. However, why was he always wasting heavenly resources every time he practiced?"
Moegi closed his eyes, feeling like someone was stalking him. Moegi threw a ball of fire in the direction where he felt it. Kenshin flinched in shock and immediately pulled out his sword to fend off the fireball.
"Ohh, that's you. I think who," said Moegi after seeing Kenshin who grimaced awkwardly.
"Is that how you say hello?" Kenshin put his sword back in. He walked closer to her.
"Heehh... Why be polite to a stalker? Basic shameless," he replied sniffly.
"Huh?! You think I don't have to follow you? I was also training and I was tired of training alone. At first I was looking for a supernatural animal, until then I accidentally saw you," explained Kenshin.
"Ohh, so so. So, by chance seeing me, you're thinking of keeping an eye on me? Then what happens if I'm there and you see me. Are you going to pause for that, too...?" Ask a suspicious interrogation.
"You think I'm Zaraki? A mischievous boy with thoughts peeking at adults?" Kenshin said.
Moegi circulated his gaze, "So so it seems. If you hadn't told me, maybe I'd never have noticed her existence,"
"You mean...?" Kenshin asked not to understand.
His gaze stopped on the bushes that were quite not far from where they were. Kenshin turned to look at the bushes.
"The bushes looked strange. Unlike other bushes," Kenshin murmured trying to compare it with the surrounding bushes.
"Meet!" moegi shouted releasing his spirit essence, a yellowish-orange flame enveloping his fist.
Zaraki who had been there since, gulped his saliva when suddenly Kenshin and Moegi looked towards his hiding place. In a hurry, Zaraki came out of hiding, afraid that Moegi would launch a fireball at him.
Kenshin's eyes widened perfectly round; he did not expect that Zaraki was actually stalking Moegi. It was really unexpected, in front of them, Zaraki always made Moegi upset, but behind it turned out he had even committed indecent acts.
Zaraki darted away quickly leaving his hideout. Kenshin sighed softly seeing her behavior.
"Where do you think you can run, huh?!!" moegi exclaimed running after him while launching a long-range attack.
Kenshin just silently watched her, sitting cross-legged waiting for the two of them to return. A moment later, the sound of Moegi's cry cussed, followed by Zaraki's groaning cry begging for mercy.
Hearing her loud screams, Kenshin was worried that Moegi would overdo the act. Just as Kenshin was about to run after, the sound of Zaraki screaming from above the sky would land right where he stood.
"How's..."
"Don't just stay there..!! I can't control my body, you better get out of the way..!! That lioness is really ferocious..!! He threw me like trash..!! Quick, move..!!" zaraki shouted cutting Kenshin's question.
Kenshin hurriedly got away from where he was standing. As much as possible, Zaraki tried to control his body so as not to land with the head position first.
"Hhhhh...!!!"
Zaraki fell down at high speed into a tree until it collapsed. Kenshin rolled to the side to avoid it.
Even so, there was no time for him to relax. From a distance, Moegi prepared to throw a fire lotus at him. In a hurry he fled. A series of fire lotuses shot out quickly, so Kenshin had to avoid it.
Spitting fire everywhere, the fire lotus created a bigger, more powerful explosion than the fireball Moegi used to throw.
Zaraki lowered his head as the fire lotus passed right above his head, Moegi then took a long leap and landed beside him perfectly.
Zaraki grimaced fearfully looking at his face filled with anger.
"I'm really sorry. To be honest I was just passing by and accidentally saw you. Before I made an appointment with Kenshin to meet and train together" he said stammering, trying to find a justification.
Moegi looked at him sharply without a word of anything coming out of his mouth. Zaraki was getting confused and afraid to speak.
"A. I'm serious. I. just don't. on purpose." he said stammering.
"Tell me again and I'll hit you in the face as hard as I can!" threatening Moegi to pull his collar.
Zaraki gulped his saliva in fear, forcing his brain to think fast in order to survive him. Suddenly a strange idea appeared in his head.
"Emmm... Moegi, I'm actually..."
"What's clear!" Jerk Moegi.
Zaraki gulped in horror. He gathered up the courage to say it back out loud without stammering.
"I love you too, Moegi...!!!" Zaraki shouted loudly.
Kenshin's mouth immediately gaped wide, shocked to see what Zaraki had said. Kenshin patted his eel confused, not expecting Zaraki to express his feelings in a way that might endanger himself.
Moegi's emotions peak at the highest level hearing the ridiculous excuses Zaraki uttered.
"Dumbkk!!"
A violent punch landed right in Zaraki's stomach, making him cough and vomit blood. The punch penetrated into his internal organs.
On the other hand, Kenshin had no intention of helping her at all after hearing her say silly. Kenshin laughed curled up to see him looking down to endure the pain in his stomach.
Zaraki groaned painfully while holding his stomach, never suspected Moegi would be cruel. The blow he felt was more painful than the blow a few days ago.
Zaraki had prepared himself to take the next blow, but it turned out that Moegi had left.
"Being able to attack his physical strength, it's very strong. My stomach contents almost went out all because of it. Fortunately, just a physical attack without a heavenly source" Zaraki murmured.
"It's not strange that he has such strong physical strength, maybe now his body forging has already reached the realm of master. It's just lacking a few things to improve the spirit" Kenshin said.
"Uhukkus! Uhukk! What would have happened if the fire lotus had hit me earlier, maybe I had become grilled meat because of it. The improvement in his spirit and body path was really significant," Zaraki was still surprised at the fire lotus that Moegi had released earlier. This was the first time they had seen him release the fire lotus.
"I'll let you this time, Zaraki," said Moegi.
Kenshin then caught up with him quickly, unwilling to waste the opportunity to train with him. Kenshin was interested in his fire lotus, so he intended to give it a try.
Without further ado, Kenshin immediately asked him to accompany him to practice, seeing Zaraki's condition was weak, Moegi agreed. He believed his reasoned remarks about wanting to train with Kenshin, so he also intended to replace him.
Kenshin smiled happily because Moegi wanted to accompany him to practice intangible swordsmanship. He really needs an opponent to know how much he has improved.
"Zaraki, are you okay?" Kenshin questioned his situation.
"I'm fine. You go train with him, I need some time to recover my body condition back," Zaraki replied calmly.
Kenshin nodded, then gave him a healing pill that he always prepared in the ring for sudden needs. Kenshin really needs him as well to be his practicing friend.
"If you're feeling good enough, I hope you'll help me. It just so happened that I needed some people to try a new technique," said Kenshin who was then replied with a nod of his head.
Afraid of a misdirected attack, Kenshin invites Moegi to move. Moegi followed and followed him. Kenshin is a little relieved because he is worried about Zaraki's safety later.
"I'm really interested in your fire lotus technique. Did you just learn it?" Ask Kenshin curiously.
"You mean this? This is an advanced spirit formation, something I obtained after a long time of training. I was surprised to also be able to master it perfectly just a moment ago, when I was annoyed," Moegi opened his palm, a yellow-orange fire lotus swirled over it.
Getting the question, Moegi scrunched his forehead, "You read the book I thought to improve understanding, but it seems only dreamy. Your expression is imprecise, spirit formation is the main foundation of spirit techniques which is the main requirement to break through to the master realm."
"I'm even more confused with you, you were born with a god spirit but instead walked the path of the sword" he said again.
Kenshin grimaced awkwardly getting the question, "Forgot it. Don't you want to use your weapon?" Kenshin was ready with his sword.
"no need. My spirit, my weapon," he answered briefly.
"Then can we start now?" Kenshin.
"Yes. You can strike first if you want, whenever you want,"
"Thank you," Kenshin darted swinging the sword, giving the first slash as an opening.
Moegi was calm enough to dodge attacks for the sake of his attacks. Moegi turns the fire lotus into a fire glove, his footprint met with the tip of Kenshin's sword.
For a moment, Kenshin hesitated, making his slash blunt. Easily, Moegi pushed the sword and dealt a punch in his stomach. Kenshin bounced slightly back.
"Take out your power, such a slash will never break through my defenses. Are you underestimating me?"
Kenshin grimaced in embarrassment, and the next attack came quickly.
"His physical strength is this strong?! Since when did Moegi hide his abilities. Without a heavenly source, relying solely on spirit essence, his fire fist was as strong as a diamond. I doubt my sword is capable of injuring his hand," Inner Kenshin was surprised to see Moegi's extremely powerful physical strength.
Kenshin shook his sword, and Moegi quickly jumped back. In one breath, he created three fire lotuses at once.
"Black High Heavenly Art, Dusk Step Dance," Moegi said as he walked in the wind, forming a fire lotus formation into the sky. Instantly, dozens of lotuses appeared in the sky, ready to rain down on Kenshin.
Kenshin could not close his eyes to this technique. Although he had witnessed his dance while on a mission, but this time was different, because he was a target. His eyes were fixed on the dozens of fire lotuses that were slowly growing bigger on it. Kenshin widened his eyes, hurriedly pulling his sword.
"It's not time to daydream. I have to hold him down immediately" Kenshin thought.
Kenshin put the horses up to prepare for an inevitable attack, confined under the fire lotus formation created by Moegi.
"Black High Heavenly Art, Lifesaving Slash," Kenshin said as he performed five quick slashes, slicing through the dozens of lotuses that surrounded him. Every lotus he slashed exploded on the spot. Moegi smiled faintly, adding more fire lotuses quickly.
Kenshin took a deep breath, his sword slash growing blunt as time went on. The lotuses are getting harder to cut. In order to successfully slash it, Kenshin would have to expend more heavenly resources.
His sword became dull and unable to slash the fire lotus. His sword seemed to hit a very hard and hot gem, as a result of being used constantly to slash fire.
Before the four fire lotuses touched his body, Kenshin unleashed an intangible swordsmanship, the first move to try to slash at him.
"The First Movement's Involuntary Sword Science, the Impermanent Sword Trail," exclaimed Kenshin.
Kenshin stuffed his sword back into the sheath, then a flurry of black crescent slashes cut through the dozens of lotuses that pointed at him. Moegi opened his eyes wide, unable to see clearly what Kenshin was doing. All Moegi saw was Kenshin putting his sword back into the scabbard.
Moegi, who was still stunned, felt a chill on his neck. Moegi blinked his eyes, but Kenshin's shadow that was far in front of him suddenly disappeared.
Slowly, Moegi lowered his gaze down his neck, "Ken, explain to me what that technique was. How can you put your spirit in the way of the sword...?"
"Don't tell me you're reaching the stage of sword creation and spirit formation right now" Moegi said, keeping Kenshin's sword from his neck.
Kenshin put his sword back into the scabbard, "Science of the intangible sword, that's his name. Sword creation and spirit formation? I'm far from it" he replied.
"Only the power of heavenly arts? I know exactly, our sect does not have sword arts that have such a dark aura. Where'd you find him, Kenshin?" Moegi asked, slightly interrogating.
"I accidentally found it on the street, about just a regular roll of paper. I didn't expect it to turn out to be something very precious" Kenshin replied as he threw his face the other way.
"Actually, I don't want to do it. But what you can do, "quickly, Moegi throws away Kenshin's weapon and locks him down. Kenshin lay down, groaning painfully, unable to move.
"If you're right Kenshin, show him his fire symbol. If you reason, I'll turn your head right now" he said threateningly.
Kenshin was surprised instead of playing, he hurriedly took out his fire symbol, "It's me, Moe! If you don't believe me, please check it out!" Kenshin tried to make his voice.
Moegi immediately took out his fire symbol and began to examine it. His eyes peeked sharply at Kenshin, he was still less sure that it was him.
"It's me! Are you still suspecting me?!" Kenshin was annoyed that Moegi had suddenly locked onto his movements.
"It's true you are, I think you are, disguised and behaving like her," Moegi gave back his fire symbol.
"That technique is very powerful, stronger than my twilight step dance. Where did you find it, Shiro himself said you were at the inn not following the auction that time. Don't tell me, you're also coming secretly?"
"No, no. I didn't follow the auction at all. I really didn't follow the auction, and this technique is purely unobtainable from there" Kenshin explained.
"Then..?"
"Ah.. I guess I should tell you. But before that, you have to promise not to tell anyone this" Kenshin said.
"Yes. Whatever you want."
Afterwards, Kenshin begins to recount his encounter with the mysterious man who gave him an intangible swordsmanship. Moegi listened intently until his eyes opened wide to hear Kenshin being unilaterally appointed by the figure as his disciple.
"She, really gave it to you?" Asked Moegi, Kenshin nodded slowly.
"Aren't you afraid that that person is actually a Demon cultivator?" Asking again, Kenshin shook his head slowly, unsure.
"Are you really sure you don't recognize him at all?! If you don't recognize him, how can he recognize you. It seems strange, if he knew you he should have known that you were a disciple of the True Fire Flame Sect at this time,"
"His face was completely covered plus the place was so dark, that I found it hard to recognize his face. All I know, he is a man, probably two to three years older than senior Taki. Precisely because he knew I was a disciple of this sect, he intended to ask me to leave the sect,"
"Then why don't you ask your father about this. Maybe he knew your father, or maybe your family? We no one knows, try asking him first" he said.
Kenshin thought about what Moegi said, there is a point also what Moegi suggested. All along, the one who knew that his spirit essence was a Shadow of Light, only his father and himself. The other friends only knew that his spirit essence was a god-ranked star type.
"Ken, I'm better now. Are we going to start now?" ask Zaraki who just arrived. Apparently, he had recovered from his previous wounds.
Kenshin smiled awkwardly, just as he was going home to ask his father this, "Sorry, Zaraki. I've got something sudden right now and I just remembered. Let's just do it tomorrow, how about..?" reply Kenshin.
"Ahhh, fine then. I also want to go back to the city, there is something I have to take now" Zaraki replied in agreement.
"Then we go back together to the city. Moegi, what about you?" Ask Kenshin.
"I'll be back too" Moegi replied.
The three of them finally decided to return to the city. The city guard who was sitting around casually immediately smiled greeting the three children.
"Have you finished training?" Ask one of the gatekeepers. Kenshin nodded with a smile.
"Basic of young people. They are really excited about living life. It really reminds me of a long time ago," said the guard while re-imagining his youth.
"Well, what did you do when you were young other than lazing around?" said the other gatekeeper.
"Hey... It's not good to tell someone bad things in the past. After all, aren't you the same as me. That's why the two of us can only be the gatekeepers of the city at the moment," the guard quipped.
At his residence, Helio seemed to be studying a heavenly art that contained array formations. His eyes seemed focused and focused on his current job.
"I've been studying this arrangement for a long time. I still couldn't understand it any deeper" Helio murmured.
"Dad... Are you inside...?" Kenshin's scream from outside shocked him.
"Can you not scream like that, you surprise me. Hurry in and say it properly inside the house!" Call Helio.
Kenshin came grimacing in embarrassment, "Sorry, Dad. But... just a second. My breath.." Kenshin stabilized his breathing first before asking.
Helio told his son to stay calm and stabilize his breathing, as he prepared a warm tea for his son. Helio was very curious about what Kenshin wanted to say until such a rush.
