25. Rescue

"Barra, there's a last message for your little family. Soon, your head will be surgically removed. You can't see the world anymore even if you have two eyes" Walvin warned Barra.

"There is no final message for my family. There's only one person I want to give you a message. That's you!" appoint Barra with a weak body condition. Walvin had already injected Barra's body so it couldn't move at all.

"I? Just say it." said Walvin with a condescending smile.

"You are blinded by the world and your mind. You're a scientist, you want to keep producing new things. Until your brain has washed all your good thoughts. Making discoveries against infectious diseases, then now want to make sophisticated robots? You should have moved majors. You don't deserve to be called a scientist." explains Barra.

"Whatever you say, I'll kill you anyway. I need an assistant who's smart in everything. Making a cure, that way I became famous. Ha ha ha." said Walvin who was very excited.

"Wait first. How do you become famous if you've destroyed some humans?" said Banda who came suddenly. Walvin and Barra were shocked. Banda managed to enter safely to the research room.

"You! What are you doing here!" walvin shouted in disbelief. A house mouse like Banda came into his room.

"You ask, I answer. I've come to foil your plans." cried Banda as he shot every corner of the room, intending to tear this room down.

Walvin ran away. He doesn't have a gun and Banda has it. Of course, Banda could have easily killed him.

"Barra, let's go. We'll help you" Banda said, lifting Barra's body.

They came out safely. Sindi, Princess, Ipul and Ibu Barra are waiting in the car. After Barra and Banda entered, Sindi drove and left quickly. They're hiding in Sindi's house.

"All of you take it easy, this place is safe. No one knows we're hiding here" Sindi said when she arrived.

The princess was not worried about her situation. Seeing Barra's handsome face lying in front of her, the Princess' heart ached. He cried silently.

"Daughter, don't cry. My brother is recovering soon. Banda and Sindi could make brother potions." Barra calmed her sister.

Banda got up wanting to say something. However, Sindi restrains herself and takes Banda out of the room.

"Barra should know if we can't make him medicine. We are scientists, but we are still beginners. Never have we made a drug without the chairman's help." explained Banda who was worried.

"Don't tell anyone. Right now, Barra's family is sad. Nor do we know what medicine Walvin injected into Barra's body. So, we have to know first the drug and then give Barra a conclusion." said Sindi in a slow voice.

"OKAY. Tomorrow, we're out looking for a cure that's available in this town. It could be, Barra needs the medicine." exclaimed Banda. Sindi just nodded and went back into the room to see the Barra family back.

Her night...

Banda and Barra were both in the room. Banda then asks the reason Barra went to take the Princess without them. Hearing that, Barra felt guilty.

"Ban, I honestly think you betrayed us. Apparently not you." said Barra who averted his eyes.

"So, who betrayed us?" ask the curious Banda.

"Cleanings. He's angry that we left him. Lieutenant told Walvin where my family lives. He's been the one who's been the injector" Barra said clearly.

"So, you're saying there's a lot more people following us? Who are they, Walvin's men?"

"I don't know for sure. They also stay in the forest. So many footprints that I assumed the guy wasn't alone."

"You take it easy, Barra. Tomorrow, I'll get you some medicine in town. Hope you get well soon so we can both stop Walvin together." continued Banda while patting Barra's shoulder. Barra replied with a smile.

The night was getting late, three soldiers managed to reach in front of Sindi's house. They sent a photo to someone saying. "Sir, they're all gathered here. Barra couldn't move until she was sick. Maybe paralyzed because Walvin gave him an injection before he made it right" he wrote.

After it was done, the three soldiers immediately left from there and went back to hiding in his place as usual. The princess who happened to come checking in her brother's room, caught a glimpse of the shadow of three people from behind the window. He opened the door to make sure. But he saw no one outside.

"Maybe I'm still sleepy" said the Princess as she walked back in and locked the door.

When morning greeted, Sindi and Banda had gone far to find Barra the medicine. How many times they went around, not finding one hospital that provided the medicine they wanted.

"We are forced to make a healing potion for Barra" said Sindi while massaging her temple feeling dizzy.

"I'm not good at making traditional potions. Especially having to look for this plant. I don't know anything." said Banda.

"Then? We should what? Barra's in pain at home. The drug we are talking about is not available. There is no other choice" Sindi said firmly.

"You're very worried about Barra. Are you starting to like it?" sahut Banda who stopped his car suddenly.

"It's not about liking each other or not. It's an emergency. What if this was all Walvin's plan, he didn't want to dissect Barra but wanted to make Barra into a monster as well. Couldn't it?" said Sindi who suddenly thought.

Banda thought for a moment and nodded. Walvin couldn't possibly have the ability to make robots because that wasn't his major.

"Did Walvin have any other plans for us?" ask Banda who stepped on the gas again and immediately turned his car. They were both worried something happened to Barra at home.

Meanwhile, Barra finished eating. His mother fed him. The Pulp and the Princess sat on the chair watching. Suddenly Barra's hand shook on its own and it was hard for him to control. His feet began to follow. The princess was surprised to see it.

"Bang, what's going on? Is it recovered?" asked the Princess who thought that Barra could move her body.

"This, I don't know. My feet and hands move by themselves." said Barra.

Everyone is panicking. Ipul immediately held Barra's leg to not move. However, the vibration made Barra's body getting bigger. The pulses couldn't hold it themselves. Barra began to feel pain until she screamed loudly.

"Akkk.." cried Barra who closed both eyes, unable to endure the pain.

"Abang, what's going on? Don't worry the Princess any more." shouted the Princess who didn't know what to do.

"Daughter, call Banda and Sindi. They have to help us." said Barra's mother.
