10. First Stage

The night began to show itself, the labotarium was closed. All the workers rushed home with their cars. Barra and the Princess were still standing near the parking lot watching everyone. Suddenly the Princess replied that Barra turned to her sister. "Well, where are we staying tonight? Do you have a place we can stay for the next few days?" the Princess said as she looked around seeing everyone rushing home without caring about them.

"Abang doesn't know." replied Barra who shook her head slowly.

Not long after, Walvin came out and saw the two children near the parking lot. The princess immediately approached Walvin while giving a packet of food to the old man.

"You told me to buy what I like and share it with you. Well, I have a little food for old man. Take it!" said the Princess while thrusting her.

"Thank you." replied Walvin who received it.

"Look, the food is clean. I always wear gloves so I don't run food. You can eat voraciously." said the Princess who ran back near her brother.

"Why do you care about him more than your own brother? I told you I wanted to spend it, you banned it." Barra protested.

"That's why the hell, it's always been a stingy person. Occasionally sharing, we will not bring money to the burrow later." replied the Princess who advised Barra.

Walvin who heard it was a little surprised. He approached Barra and the Princess, offering a place to stay. "You need a place to stay? How about in this lab. Incidentally, Sindi and Banda spent the night here as well to quarantine themselves" Walvin said indifferently to Barra. Barra was not looking at him at all. "I don't think scientists are selfish either. They should wear protective clothing to avoid getting infected. Why stay away from him?" barra continued while folding both of her hands.

"You see for yourself how affected patients experience strange things in themselves. We don't know when Banda and Sindi will turn into such a person. So for the common good, we have to do it. You should also be careful with your sister. On the look of his face, soon he will feel the same." Walvin explained before leaving.

The princess did not understand, she felt confused as to what Walvin meant. However, his hand had been pulled into the labotarium where Banda and Sindi were.

"Hey, Banda! Sindi! You're here, right?" barra shouted in search of the two friends.

The atmosphere was so quiet, plus the darkness that illuminated this place. The princess pressed the button until the light came on. The two of them were immediately shocked to see Banda and Sindi tied up like pets and then in the duct tape of her mouth.

"What the hell is this? Why are you guys like this?" ask Barra who tried to remove the rope Banda first by cutting it. However, he felt that there was something strange about Banda's behavior that seemed to be unable to calm down to see Barra.

"What's up, Bang? Why don't you cut all the rope?" asked the Princess who saw Barra stop.

The princess let go of him making Sindi breathe a sigh of relief. "Don't let go, Banda. He was no longer a Banda, he was already at the first stage. Hungry level. He can escape if you let him go." Sindi told Barra.

"What does first level mean?" ask the confused princess.

"I'm doing fine. Now let go and we find a cure for Banda." said Sindi made Barra switch to release the rope wrapped around Sindi's body. The princess helped him out.

"What do you mean by medicine? Have scientists found a cure?" barra asked after Sindi's situation was much better.

"Yes. But they can only make a small amount of medicine to prevent it. They do not want to share and take everything for their needs later. We can make a cure for Banda right now, before her behavior gets any stranger." suggested Sindi in a hurry.

"Where is the prescription?" ask Barra.
