19. Poisoning

Barra closed his eyes thinking he was going to die here. But his body did not feel pain despite hearing the sound of gunfire many times. Barra opened her eyes and was surprised to see that she was still safe with three of her friends.

"You still have to live and help us save this world" the lieutenant smiled at the Princess.

'What the hell is this, don't tell me if he likes the Princess. Can't!" barra said in his heart. Barra doesn't want her sister to be boyfriend-dating with a soldier.

"What are you two waiting for? Quickly open their rope, let them loose." he gave orders to his men who stood behind him.

Barra became indifferent, she felt in the all-out trickery earlier. Suddenly the sound of the news sounded made them all startled. Barra rushed to see him where the sound of the scream came from the person Barra tied up with. When he got there, one of the patients was unconscious. But the other patient had strange symptoms. His body convulsed to the point of removing foam.

"Help him!" yell at the healed patient. Barra opened the rope and immediately helped the poisoned patient. Long Barra pumped her heart, she stopped after checking the pulse of the patient.

"How's it?" banda asked who was curious to see Barra's cold and annoyed face.

"He died." said Barra briefly as he left.

Sindi opened her mouth as she walked closer to the patient. Trying to ascertain. Banda immediately caught up with Barra who harbored her own anger.

"Damn!" barra shouted in the middle of the forest alone. He was angry, angry with himself who had poisoned someone. I don't know what got the guy intoxication, which is obviously Barra, the last person to feed them.

"Are you sure there's no weird food you're giving them?" ask Banda once again to make sure.

"Am I a murderer willing to poison them? You see for yourself, he's pulling foam out of his mouth. It must have been poisoning." said Barra who raised his voice.

"I was so confused" said Banda who could not think quietly. The army lieutenant suddenly appeared after secretly hiding listening to Barra and Banda talk.

"Do you want that person's body in the atopsy? We can tell what happened to him. Is he really poisoned or not?" sahut the lieutenant made a proposal.

"Is that doable?" asked Banda with an enthusiastic face.

"Yes, could. The soldiers have a special hospital, we can use that hospital. We'd better get the body to the hospital right away." the lieutenant ordered.

"Ready, lieutenant!" said Banda who participated in playing the army.

Barra was still upset, he sat down to the other patient who could still survive. Barra lowered her head, adjusting her breath before speaking.

"Are you okay? Do we need to take you to your family's house tomorrow?" barra asked in a soft voice while looking at the father beside her.

"Is there anything you eat after I'm gone? I just gave you the coconuts. Coconut water or its contents will not make people poisoned. It can even make our bodies fit" Barra explained.

"We eat nothing but what you give us. But our heads felt dizzy after drinking coconut water. I fainted for a while." he said frankly.

"Sorry, I should have checked your condition before giving you any food or medicine. I will be very careful in the future." said Barra who got up from his bed and immediately entered his tent.

Banda had slept there first. Barra also shifted Banda's body so that he could use the father to sleep in the tent as well. Three soldiers slept comfortably on the tree. It is common for them to do so.

The sunlight greeted the wilderness. The soldiers woke up first and took the dead patient's body yesterday to a special hospital for an atopsy. The healed man was returned by the army lieutenant.

Barra then went home empty-handed making Banda laugh mocking him. "You've been hunting before?" ask Banda who is smiling cynically.

"I found something strange in the woods. A lot of rotting carcasses are already there. Even bat carcasses were scattered in the forest. What do you think happened?" ask Barra back.

"Bat carcass?" said Banda who thought. It flashed in Banda's mind that the incident that had engulfed her in the labotarium at the time. The bat goes into its solution and instantly disappears from burning. He didn't even have time to tell Walvin out of fear.

"Don't it have anything to do with this strange disease, Bang?" said the Princess who suddenly came out of her tent.

"True, it's not just humans who can be attacked. Animals too. If we do animal testing and find a cure, we don't have to bother kidnapping strange patients from hiding places" Sindi added.

"Then it's good, dong. Brother won't bother anymore. Just look for infected animals, after that you can do testing." set the Princess who seems easy.

"Test. Where are the rosmarin flowers? We need those flowers too. If not, how can we make a drug that matches this disease." explained Barra.

Banda was silent, the events in the labotarium kept spinning in his brain. He did not tell Sindi out of fear that the child was getting more guilty. Banda had to make sure first what was the cause.

Barra rushed inside the tent, changing her clothes. Banda entered the tent and continued to look at Barra seriously.

"A crush on me?" asked Barra who felt strange with Banda's gaze.

"Then why do you keep looking at me?"

"I have eyes to see you. You're not a ghost either, so you can still be seen" Banda replied in a cold, flat voice. Barra only furrowed her brows for a while then put her clothes back in the bag.
