24. Barra's Search

Barra had no choice but to obey Walvin. His mother and sister, two very important things in Barra's life.

"I won't sacrifice myself, but I won't sacrifice the people I love. If there is no other choice, I will sacrifice myself. But you have to remember, release my sister and my mother, let them get out of here as soon as possible then I will obey all your words." Barra explained in a firm voice and not nervous at all. Walvin smiled happily at it.

While the Princess and her mother opened their mouths, they were surprised by Barra's decision. "Anything is not serious, right? The city must come out together, the Princess does not want the brother to be here" said the Princess who quickly pulled Barra's hand and held it tightly.

"Mother won't leave you either, son. We can be together." said Barra's mother in a weak voice but can still be heard by all.

"Bar, I don't want to leave if you don't come. I will stay here." added Ipul who woke up despite pushing himself.

"But you all have to survive. I can be fine here. Trust me." persuaded Barra while looking back at the sweet face of his mother and Ipul the last time.

"Hey! You folks. What are you waiting for, quickly bring Barra to the research room! It could be sitting here casually." reprimanded Walvin who stared at his men standing behind him.

"Well, sir" they said compactly.

The princess cried hysterically, she did not want to let go of her brother let alone let Walvin's men take it. The princess tried to hold her brother's hand, but Barra herself took it off.

"Keep your promise, let go of my family." Barra whispered to Walvin as she passed the man.

"Quiet, it's easy business. You have to secure yourself first" said the satisfied Walvin.

Walvin then coded the army lieutenant to take Barra's family out of this place. It did not take long, the Princess was successfully removed and did not enter to see Barra again.

"Abang! Please return, Bang!" the princess shouted trying to open the tightly closed door. Ipul and his mother could only see in silence, they could not help much. Their bodies are weak and can only lie down.

"Sir Banda, Brother Sindi. Oh, aye. They must be willing to help." said the Princess who took Ipul and his mother to safety first before returning to the forest where Banda and Sindi were.

However, once the Princess was there all the tents were empty. There is no sign of Banda and Sindi being here. The princess searched, thinking that Banda and Sindi were still around the forest, but the Princess did not manage to find her two friends.

"Sir Banda! Brother Sindi! Where are you two?" yelled the frustrated princess. The princess sat down crying. He was tired of running in addition to his heart was not strong enough to imagine his brother would be killed.

"Where are you guys? Brother's in trouble. I beg you to come back and help us" said the distraught Princess.

Meanwhile, Banda and Sindi make it to Barra's house. They were both shocked to see corpses everywhere. Many decomposing bodies made Sindi cover her nose.

"It looks like they've all become carcasses." said Banda with slow footsteps down Barra's house.

"Barra and the Princess are not here, her mother is too. Did they go save themselves?" sindi asked while looking at Banda's face.

"It could be, I didn't see their bodies" replied Banda who walked out of Barra's house. Suddenly Sindi saw the paper that had fallen on the floor, she picked it up and read it at a glance. To Sindi's surprise, she ran to pat Banda hard and showed the letter to Banda.

"Walvin's after Barra, too. He did not feel guilty as a scientist but intended to damage the living things in this world. Does he not want to live too?" said Banda who became upset.

"Do something. Is this the reason the Princess and Barra left us, they want to find her mother and Ipul." explained Sindi.

"Damn, Walvin! I promise, my hand will kill him myself. Sindi, let the city meet Walvin and give him the calculation" Banda said firmly and greeted a nod by Sindi.

"Don't forget, we stopped by to pick up a gun. We can't possibly see Walvin before Walvin's men die" Banda said confidently.

"Ready, captain." said Sindi while saluting. Instantly, the two of them immediately left the village and walked back to the city. Sindi and Banda stop by to pick up a gun like the one they were going to use against Walvin.

On the way, Sindi continued to stare at his pistol which was often used by army soldiers in battle.

"Ban, since when did we become soldiers. Are we scientists?" asked Sindi who was confused herself. He is not good at using a gun. He might have misfired. Not even the opponents are dead friends.

"We won't wear it, just threaten scientists to give us a way in. Use your brain cleverly" Banda told Sindi.

"Then, if they're waiting for us to shoot, what?"

"Basic stupid! Just shoot, they will ask for it themselves." replied Banda who focused on mebgamati street.

"Okay, I get it."

Before long, the two of them arrived in front of the reserve lab where Walvin gave Barra an address to come there. Because Banda and Sindi were scientists, they entered easily just by wearing the uniform they often used in research. No one is aware of them because all their clothes are the same as any other scientist.

"Well, where are we going to find Barra now? I haven't been to this labotarium since work." whispered Sindi who walked slowly and surrounded by scientists who were busy with their research.

"I don't know that either. At least, we can go in and find out rather than stay outside without doing anything." Banda replied with whispers.

"Hem, hopefully no one is suspicious of us." continued Sindi who was worried she was found out.

When the two of them were confused, there were reports that Walvin asked three scientists who had been determined to immediately enter the research room. Banda and Sindi smiled, they had an idea to know where Barra was currently.

However, the two of them could not go any further when they had to use fingerprints as a safety to enter the research site. Banda and Sindi were just standing at the door.

"How do we get in? If we put up fingerprints and it goes undetected, the scientists are suspicious" Sindi said.

Before Banda answered, one of the older scientists of the two approached Sindi and Banda. He had apparently noticed Sindi and Barra from earlier and felt suspicious.

"What are you doing here?" tanyanya continued to pay attention to Sindi and Banda who lowered her head.
