An extremely dazzling glimmer of light entered through his eyes. Arna squinted her eyes, two shadows were seen moving in her eyes. They seemed to be talking while continuing to point that light at him. Out of curiosity, he tried to sharpen his hearing. But it was not the human voice he heard, but rather the very high shrill voice deafening. Arna knew this voice well. So he just needs a little time to adapt and easily think positive.
"I'm still in the hospital right now. As usual, they're checking my body." Thought Arna.
But there is something strange about this conclusion. He tried to remember again.
"No, didn't I get out of the hospital? I've been to school, even midterms have been passed." He said to himself. "Then.., last night.." Arna reassembled her memories.
"Mother!" It's in the heart. "I fell from the second floor because of a bomb blast last night. Could I die?" Arna. "No, I have to get up…!"
Arna squirmed, but there was no response in her body.
"Am I really dead?" He started to be pessimistic. "But there's no harm in trying!" Further.
His right hand moved to touch his body.
"Successful!" Inner Arna. "I'm not dead yet."
Then he moved his left hand. But this time the result was zero, as if part of his body was paralyzed. Arna tried to shake her head.
Views clear. Now he was in a room with a mattress on the side of the window. The door is located parallel to the mattress, and various decorations typical of the knight era are displayed throughout the room. While being engrossed in observing the details of the room, his left hand felt pierced with thousands of needles.
"Sshhh.." He hissed.
When held with his right hand, he did not even feel his skin. His left hand was covered with bandages. He tried to sit. But his legs did not comply, even the pain attacked from the right calf. Arna panic. He held his breath and let go.
She remembers last night, Mom taking her to work for a meeting. When Mom left, she waited at Mom's place while staring at the window. Then, there was a series of events that could not be trusted. Again he doubted himself.
“If that's true, why am I here? And what about Mom?”
He breathed longer for the second time. For a moment, Arna felt that someone was watching her from the corner of the room. Thas right. There was a teenager looking at him with flat eyes. At first he was shocked, but the teenager hinted to calm down. But how can it calm down? He didn't even know the boy. Arna is aware, the state of his body that does not allow for self-defense. After all, he didn't think that brother was a bad person. He is quite friendly even though only reflected with a cold smile full of puzzles. In the end he just resigned. There is a possibility that he was the one who helped her.
“hmh, sober also finally.” The boy said to himself.
The boy helped her sit down. Worse even though he was helping people, his cold attitude did not disappear at all, making Arna even more creepy.
“Axton,” he continued while thrusting a glass of water.
“Thanks." Arna received water from the brother's hand."I'm Arna!” answer later.
Arna tried to cover her fears as best she could. But Axton's attitude hasn't changed at all. He just looked at her with a flat look. Then smiled coldly. Arna breathed a sigh of relief. At least that smile looks sincere.
“Alright Arna, drink up! Just for body freshener.” Axton said with a warmer smile to soften the stiff atmosphere.
It seemed like she knew that Arna was a little intimidated by her attitude.
"Owh, yes." said Arna.
He felt blushed because he forgot to drink the water that was already in his hands. It is true, Axton said, the water is fresh.
"Maybe for running all night in that building." Thought Arna.
Because of that thought, he re-thought about the incident last night after being distracted by Axton's cold and sudden appearance.
“Actually..., where are you from?” Ask Axton suddenly.
“Hmm..., I'm from the city.” replied Arna although astonished by Axton's question.
“City?” axton seemed to be in disbelief.
“What's the reason?” Tanya Arna was a bit confused
Axton just shook his head slowly then replied,
“City is still far behind the forest and rarely does anyone dare to go into the forest.” Axton is serious.
“You were found unconscious in the forest, the village is very far from there. The distance from the city, to where you were found is even further. Then, how did you get out of town? did anyone kidnap you unconscious? ” asked Axton. while laying down to the chair beside the mattress.
“it's impossible for you to trust me. But.. I should have died by now.before I was here .there were a bunch of bad guys wearing masks and black clothes bearing the symbol of a snake on his shirt. They arrested Mom and a bunch of other people, they were put in a black box car and taken away somewhere. I they just left and one of them wanted to eliminate me so he chased me to the second floor, at that moment the building exploded. I...I was thrown from the building, and after..I don't know anymore.” Arna told her story in as much detail as possible.
Axton's attitude changed and instantaneously. Seeing that Arna was acting wrong. He should not have told such an incident at length to a stranger. But because it was already so he just continued.
"It is impossible to move from the city to the middle of the forest. But that's all I know, after that, what Axton believes or not!" Arna. "So, I beg you. Can I call the police?" Further.
Axton is seen changing expression when Arna narrates the events of that night. Perhaps, he did not believe in the story of the child who seemed to be making up. Arna's fear was realized with the muttering of Kak Axton.
“Snap yes?”
Long enough they kept silent, then Axton got up and passed outside.
“Wait a minute I'll be back soon.” He said without looking back.
Arna just a little snuggle. He thinks he is in a very confusing situation. He was a little boy with no parents and siblings here in the city. He knew no other family than the nuclear family. Or you could say, he has no family anymore. Then who else could he trust, maybe Gio? The sound of the door opening blew his daydream.
“This is my sister Rezon. Maybe you can accrap, your age is the same?” Axton said as he looked at a child who resembled him.
“Hey, what's your name?” Ask Rezon akrap.
“Arnawa, call Arna.” replied Arna.
“Cool name! Nowadays not many people use names like that, right?” rezon said amazed.
Arna smiled back at Rezon's words. Apparently the nature of this child is far from his brother.
"What kind of switch do you see on the black-clad emblem? ” ask Axton directly on the core.
He didn't even pay attention to Rezon's conversation and his unfinished self. But there is something even stranger, instead of returning to the initial topic that is the reason for its presence in the middle of the forest. He was asked about snakes on the coat of arms of criminals last night. Arna was astonished, did this mean the story was believable? Or vice versa? things become temporarily quiet.
“It...., it looks like it's a Viper snake. But strangely enough, the snake has a crown on its head.” replied Arna.
At least he wasn't allowed to freeze alone in the woods. Tiny pleasantries and answering questions are not detrimental.
Axton nodded, his forehead wrinkled as if he was thinking of something.
"You said your mother was arrested in a building, is that true?" ask Axton again.
"Yes" answered Arna.
"What building?" Ask Axton.
"Vinhana Building, west of town." Answer Arna.
Axton fell silent and said.
"Wait here Rez." His word.
"Where are you going?" Ask Rezon.
"Call the Teacher."He answered without looking exactly like that.
This time Rezon fell silent then nodded steadily.
"Teacher? What teacher?" Thought Arna imagining where she is now.
"This is the strangest foreign place. Now I am confused by something else. What kind of school is in the middle of the forest?" Inner Arna.
He felt rotated by the tornado wind to fly into the sky and then directly thrown on the roller coaster. Dizziness…
