The Forgotten Sins

The Forgotten Sins
CORALS

The first sentence is Gio's father's handwriting as a prefix.

”*FORGOTTEN SIN OF CITY**”

THIS CITY IS NOT A MODERN CITY, EVERYTHING HAS HAPPENED SINCE 40 YEARS AGO.

AT THAT TIME THE TEKONLOGS FOUND A BREAKTHROUGH THAT MANAGED TO BREAK THE LIMITS OF THE SOPHISTICATION OF EQUIPMENT IN THIS CENTURY. EVERYONE WAS EXCITED AND AMAZED TO SEE THE MAGIC CREATED BY LIFELESS ROBOTS, WHEN BEFORE THIS CITY WAS A PLACE OF TRADITIONAL ART AND CULTURE. BUT THE PUBLIC CAN NO LONGER RESIST THEIR ADMIRATION FOR THE SOPHISTICATION OF TECHNOLOGY AND UNWITTINGLY, TURNED INTO A MISTAKE. AN IMBALANCE OCCURS, BETWEEN TECHNOLOGICAL SOPHISTICATION AND A SOCIETY THAT IS STILL NOT READY. FORCING THEMSELVES TO ACCEPT CHANGE TOO QUICKLY, SOCIETY TURNS TO THE EXTREME OF LOVING ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY AND FORGETTING THE ARTS THAT FLOW IN THEIR OWN FLESH BLOOD.

THE ART SCENE BEGAN TO SLACK, AND MANY CULTURANS CHANGED PROFESSIONS, MANY STILL RELY ON ART TO BE THE LIFE FORCE OF THEIR FAMILIES, THIS CONTINUED FOR TEN YEARS AND BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY AT THAT TIME WAS NAMED WITH ‘BABAK LAST’

AFTER THE END OF THE LAST ROUND, THE NAME OF CULTURE IS INCREASINGLY DROWNING IN SOCIETY AND BEGINS TO DETERIORATE. NOT ONLY THAT, THE EXTREMITY OF SOCIETY REACHED ITS PEAK BY ASSUMING PEOPLE WHO STILL LOVE CULTURE IS RIDICULOUS AND DISPLACING CULTURANS TO THE SUBURBS.

BUT THE LOVE OF SOME PEOPLE IN CULTURE CAN NOT FADE AWAY, THEY PREFER TO BE A GROUP OF PEOPLE ISOLATED RATHER THAN FORGETTING THE LOVER, NAMELY CULTURE.

YEAR AFTER YEAR ROLLED ON, CULTURE CONTINUED TO SINK INTO THE MUD OF THE TIMES AND VANISHED. AS FOR TRUE CULTURANS, THEY ARE NO LONGER KNOWN TO EXIST. PERHAPS MINGLING AND BURYING DEEPLY THEIR LOVE, MAY ALSO DISAPPEAR WITH EVIDENCE OF THE CULTURE OF OUR CITY.

SO, WHOSE FAULT WAS IT ALL?

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE TECHNOLOGISTS WHO CREATED THE LATEST INOFASI? OR IS IT THE WRONG PEOPLE WHO TURN AWAY FROM CULTURE? GOVERNMENT'S WRONG?  OR IS IT THE FAULT OF THE CULTUREISTS WHO CAN'T BUILD CULTURE IN THIS CITY ANYMORE?

Note: The final paragraph is Gio's father's handwriting.

“Aih.., this is the weirdest fairy tale. It has nothing to do with what we're looking for! After all, why do the cultureists not just hold a massive show?” Gio whispered in Arna's ear.

“You forgot the part where they were ostracized by the community and lived in the suburbs. But where were they after that? If the culture is to love the culture like its lover, they should continue to struggle to arouse the interest of others. If true like that, there should be a time when they managed to ignite the love of a small part of the community in culture.” Reply Arna while scratching her head that does not itch.

“A fun story. But I found the connection.” Said Gio thrusting a piece of newspaper that was not taped to his best friend.

“Good.., let's read!” Arna said excitedly opposite to Gio who was already ogah-ogahan.

“Basic the class champion!” His word.

“**SIGNING THE RULERS**”

Arakatai Saskara, managed to create a new trend in the city with a special opening show. He managed to steal the attention by playing a shadow drama titled ‘Karang’ with his sister, moving agile behind the thin curtain showing his own shadow as a character. The voices of those in dialogue echoed throughout the room then charged into the hearts. Not a few people sobbed because the storyline slashed the day, not a few also silent like a stone.

Various responses were spoken by the audience, ranging from the sound that vibrates the fur of Rome, the story is very filled, to be amazed by the agility of the two boys performing dances even interspersed with singing and martial arts.

“This is what I mean, but where did all that go? Even I don't know that kind of culture at all.” Arna's response after reading.

“Now, I'm more interested in watching his shadow show.” Answer Gio.

“Wait, this means the events of Forgotten Sin Of City are real.” Arna Mumbles.

“Really? Find next document!” Gio started flipping through the sheets of books.

“Eh, the!”

“LIFT LIFE SASKARA”

Behind the brilliant name Arakata Saskara, it turns out to be a sad story.

People often ask, though,

'Why and how did he succeed with his different work?'

But it's not all that easy, though,

‘*My sister has two, Nayottama and one died with Mom. It all happened when the economic conditions of my family deteriorated, so forced not to eat for weeks and finally Mother who was pregnant went home to God.

They are heroes who died in the struggle, I am proud to have them and now Nayottama is my most prized possession*.’ After coming down the stage.

There is no one appropriate expression for this, only one that I can convey,

‘who wrote also shed tears’.

The young man is sturdy, polite, and relaxed it seems to save a life story that is so bitter. Highlight his own eyes when telling this story of glitter, grudge or tears there?

Gio's eyes dim but light up when reading it, especially Arna who feels his life story is not as bitter as Arakata Saskara. To be sure, more or less Arna understood what she felt. But the greatness of Arakata is his steadfastness in facing all trials in his own way, without having to curse even still strong proud of both parents by continuing the struggle.

“He is very rigid.” Gio commented that his eyes still could not be separated from the paper in front of him.

Arna was silent, only her fingers moved open the next sheet. A blurry photo of two children holding a banner, with captions,

‘From left Arakata Saskara and Nayyotama Saskara.’

“If it were clearer, I'd like to see his face.” Thought Arna.

But as he stared at the focus of the banner they were holding, his heart seemed to be almost free.

“This is the Viper Army crest!” Arna almost shouted.

“Really?” Gio likened the emblem on the poster and his palm.

“Same.” Gio unnerved.

“Wait-wait.” Arna.

“Viper Army is anti-technology, they hate the technologists. The Forgotten Sis Of City fairy tale that has been proven true is a time of rebellion from the isolated community. Could Arakata Saskara be the leader of the Viper Army? So their motive was to restore culture by overthrowing the power of the technolongs? But is Arakata really Saskara?”  arna's mind went round and round because it never got an answer.

On the one hand, the thing he had been thinking about was probably, and on the other hand Saskara's vocabulary was too good for it.

 ••••

“Stop Rezon!” Axton said, but Rezon did not listen.

Axton didn't run out of sense to stop his sister's leg. He sped up the pace and immediately grabbed Rezon's collar from behind.

“Why Brother?! We'll be left behind.” Screeches Rezon.

“Do not pursue!” Said Axton firmly make Rezon not budging.

“Ke.na..pa?”reeko asked with a breath of breath.

“Kita.”

BOOMM..

Smoke fluttered around them, Axton covered Rezon's mouth and nose and Reeko used his hands, while he held his breath. Black shadows began to surround them, suddenly a kick hit the arm of Kak Axton to make it look blackened.

“Sss.., shit!” The fare was slow, but enough for Rezon and Reeko to hear by his side.

Instantly the smoke around them had been filled with shadows swirling like sharks eyeing their prey. A few shadows advanced towards the three with unsheathed swords. Sis Axton quickly pushed her sisters back until their bodies came out of the shadow horde, and she herself remained there.

“Kakak!!” Kak Axton's shadow began to vanish in the smoke, while he himself had arrived outside and hit the wall of a building.
