“They've run, you're great buddy!” The boy helped her sit up, and now they're both leaning against the wall of the building.
“Are you okay?” tanyanya.
“Ya, I'm good.” Arna looked up at the sky with excitement.
The reason he was upset was actually because he could not find his friends until the sun was no longer visible, now he did not know how they were. Not yet the Viper Army business just now, the emblem on his skin was really reminiscent of the market bombing moments. When the woman said strange things, the emblem in her hand began to glow and then spread all over her body along with a dazzling glow and a hot wind, then exploded her body. Arna was still trying to recreate the incident when the child next to her asked her for a second time.
“I'm really good.” The answer.
“I'd better call the police, they'll treat your wounds.” He said while sliding his phone screen.
“Wait!” Prevent Arna
“What happens if he calls the police? I could be a witness and when asked for identity, I could not answer and was interrogated.” thought Arna.
“Hah?”
“Do not call!” He insists.
“But you, anyway this case should be reported. At least I'll call my parents, but just the same they must have brought this matter to the city police.” The boy insisted on his stance which made Arna even more lazy.
“Begin only, now that you are free from danger please leave and do not think to contact the police. If you get into any other trouble you can call the police as you please!” But he himself does not know the way out of here.
For a moment He caught the change in the expression of this child faintly because it was covered in the darkness of the night, but because he was tired He did not think too much about it.
“Well, now this kid thinks I'm a fugitive.” It's entrenched. “Ah, what a fool he thinks I am. The important thing is that he doesn't call the police and quickly leave!” Reciprocity.
“But.” The boy spoke up.
“Huahhh.” Arna's complaints are starting to get worse.
Half-lazy, Arna threw his folding knife into the hand of the child until it slipped from his grasp and stuck on the wall of the building.
“OK..oke…! No will!” Raising both hands overhead requires giving up.
Arna advanced until his eyes fell directly with the boy to give an explanation.
“Don't call the police, your problem today is over. Now go home to your house and don't go near a place like this again! Understand?” when giving an explanation, Arna's eyes seemed to glitter in the darkness.
Suddenly the child's expression changed, making Arna rewind her face a few centimeters.
“The expression.” He insisted on digging up his memories again.
“A-Ar.na??” call the boy with a little hesitation.
Arna jumped from her seat like a cat caught stealing, but immediately controlled herself and tried to see as much detail as possible the child before her.
“You! Do you know where my name is?” arna said while preparing the horses.
“You Arna? right Arnawa?” the boy approached until there was not much space left between them
“Do not approach!” Threatening Arna, it seems that the situation has turned around and now he is the one who is frightened.
“Arna.., is this you? are you really Arnawa, sister of Brother Rabka?” Asked the child who was completely unrecognizable by Arna, but when he said it his eyes shone like the radiance of sunlight from the lake.
Seeing the seriousness of this child, Arna tried to look deeper.
“You...” He guessed the face of the child in front of him then aghast for a moment.
“You are Gio??!” Said not to believe what he saw earlier, the figure of his best friend Gio since he was a toddler looks faint on the face of the child.
“I Gio!” The answer was gleeful, but then “T-wait, Arna is dead.”
“A..I am indeed Arnawa!” arna stammered, believing in disbelief He met again with the only person who became his precious treasure from the past that still remains.
“Uaaaa!!” Shouted Gio suddenly.
“You are the spirit of Arna!” Apparently, the nature of the hibiscus will never disappear.
“I'm not.”
“No, the ghost does not exist.” Said again..
“Gio, I'm Ar-na-wa.” Now it's Arna who convinced Gio.
“Be-when?” Gio asked stuttered and He replied with a nod.
“What happened? Aren't you.you, where are you??” gio asked as he shook his body, water seemed to pool in his eye bags.
Arna soon embraces her childhood best friend as tightly as possible.
“Gio I miss so much, you are my only precious treasure now.” He replied, then both hands Gio returned his embrace was no less tight.
The tears of the two separated friends could not be restrained and spilled. The dark alley that was once a place of battle is now a place of heartwarming encounters.
“I was taken away from the city by the man who helped me, after being hit by a building explosion. Oh yeah, how's the building?” Arna asked as the two walked together out of the alley.
“Huh.., Arna!! I'm worried about you you're even putting the building on hold!” Gio's sigh grunts greeted with Arna's crisp laughter.
“Hahaha, right?” asked Arna not to think.
“If you want to see let's go!” Take Gio to satisfy his best friend.
“Okey.” Answer Arna.
“Oh yes! Why didn't you report to the police and declare that you were still alive?” gio asked as he had just stepped out of the alley.
“What can I say? will no one believe Gio...., that I am a child who witnessed his mother being arrested or the child who survived the bomb explosion in the building? Free, you told me yourself that I was dead, didn't you? What's the fuss for?” he replied with a small laugh without any burden.
“You're right no one will believe now, but why not just from the past?” tanya Gio was still curious about Arna's current state.
“Trust me I have found a better solution than that!” Arna answered with a sharp grin that was uncertain of its meaning.
“Better?” ask Gio again.
“Ya, I'll tell you sometime.” The answer.
“That means, we'll see you again?” gio's face looked glittering
“Iya. You still think I'm dead?” arna replied inquiring back and Gio giggled.
“Good, good.., but you promised me right?” ask Gio again.
“Hmh, yes.” He answered while pointing the little finger.
“Iya.” Gio brandished his finger as well, the two of them braided their tiny fingers into a single bond, a pinky promise bond.
“Try to tell us a little about the day.” Said Gio later.
“Mmmm.., that day huh?” Arna thought for a moment.
“Alright!” He said while hitting his fist that looked bruised to the other hand.
“That night a group of masked men broke into the building and searched all the rooms. When one of their members found a meeting file belonging to the mother on the table, he told his comrades to arrest everyone in the hall and blow up the entire building. That's where I understand their plan.”
“Then you escaped?” sela Gio's.
“No..” The answer.
“Then what?”
“Listen first.” Replied Arna with an amused smile.
“Good.”
“I tried to save Mom but I was too weak, Mom put in a black box car that I don't know where to go. A moment after that a criminal chased me and threatened me, forced me to run into the building. Unfortunately when we were on the second floor, right in front of the balcony of the building and the whole contents were blown up.”
“Who is the one who can do such a cruel act?” Omel Gio on his own.
Arna smiled and then embraced the shoulder of his best friend with ignorant intentions so that Gio almost fell. But he soon rebalances and embraces back the newly risen Arna from the dead.
“Well, this is where you died.” Said Gio holding back a laugh.
“Mati..., for the second time.” His eyes moved sweeping the surface of the building, in some corners visible traces of black burning fire.
But this building is not empty, the lights are brightly lit and the yard is filled with parking cars. It turned out that the owner had not wasted this place.
“Renovation yeah?” Gio just smiled lifting his shoulders.
“People now will not waste a profit.” Gio said while Arna smiled.
He remembered the face of the meek mother often greeted him in front of this building after returning on foot from school with Brother Rabka. No one knows where the black car took everyone, but there may be no hope of life for them.
“Mother, forgive me!” Thought Arna.
For a while they stood there.
“Arna, just spill that feeling on me.” Said Gio, Arna was shocked to hear it.
“I..” Again he just fell silent and Gio was still patiently waiting.
“Huh.., have you ever asked ‘why should I be the one with this responsibility?’ and never got an answer that convinced you?” Arna started to open up.
“Maybe sometimes, when I have to be the class president when I do not want to be bothered.” Answer Gio.
“Fact Gio.” Arna. “Often I feel like I should be dead, but not in reality. Unfortunately, this situation makes me not know, do I have to be grateful or vice versa? in fact, this way I lost my family. Dad, Mom, Brother, maybe Brother too, everyone has had it, me too. But why did they have to disappear so quickly? why do I have to be alone, it's not better that we hang out together in nature? why do I have to live but lose the light of my life and always be haunted by revenge, blood, despair, which always makes me wake up in the middle of the night just to remember every drop of their blood splashed everywhere?” Arna closed her eyes with the back of her hand.
“I.., don't know.” He said with a trembling voice.
Gio hugged his best friend.
“You're not alone anymore, I'm here. Indeed I cannot treat the wound in your heart that is deep, at least I can bandage it. But all I know now is that you've treated my wounds with your presence. And no one can replace him but you.” Arna was silent at Gio's words.
“All I know is that you're dead, I died tonight because you didn't save me. Maybe I won't be this happy either.” Said Gio without taking off his embrace.
