The Soul of the Axton

After the shot Reeko felt floating, he was not even able to open his eyes, all empty filled with fear and anxiety about everything.

“What is it like to die?” thought.

Reeko opened his eyes so easily, simply and without coercion as he thought he had entered the realm of death. But after that he could not say anything, only motionless.

Several times gunshots were heard raining down on them, Rezon and Reeko who were now lying on the ground together. He could only stare at everything, when he realized something, that the bullet did not hit him. But how?

Reeko leaned his head to look at the situation, but Rezon held his shoulder and said,

“Trust me!” He said with a confident smile, bewitching Reeko for a smile and nodding assuring the wishes of his friend.

With a deft movement Rezon slipped between the shots, advancing towards the place for shelter. Reeko ran tailing on his back with a gaze that required admiration. It turns out that behind the ridiculous nature and the chimney stored the soul of a leader, the soul of the Axton.

“We stop for a while here.” Rezon said behind the fence wall of a mini flower garden on the sidewalk.

“What's up?” reeko asked while looking around ensuring security.

“See it!” Rezon pointed ahead, where there was no more shelter for them to go to.

“Sister Axton?” rezon muttered, as he briefly saw the handle of the knife on the person's back.

Axton's sister nodded, looking up at the sky with a blank look.

“Ukh, finally!” Reeko threw the body of the person who hit him violently, then followed silent knowing the situation of Axton.

“You know..” Said Axton then sighing deeply.

“It's exhausting.” He said as he stroked Rezon's hair with his hands full of blood.

Rezon's eyes were rounded because the movement made the wound on Axton's neck clearly visible.

“I can't believe, I'll take you home!” Screeches Rezon.

“I'm not wrong, this is indeed tiring.” Said Axton while smiling flatly.

“Kak, I beg you.”

“Sttt..” Axton grabbed Rezon's hand and the other one was ready with a drawn knife.

Several Viper Army troops emerged from the thick smoke.

“You guys protect Miss Meyl, she is her main target!” Said Axton while moving appeared to the enemy.

“What are you doing Axton?” ask Reeko.

“Their Coupons.” Answer's flat.

“No!!” Screeches Rezon.

He ran up to Axton trying to prevent his departure, but he wasn't strong enough to easily be pushed back behind the wall.

“Or run, back to headquarters.” Said Axton continued his words then ran away from the two children followed by the Viper Army horde.

“Kakak..!” Axton's sister is nowhere to be seen and is pulled away by Reeko.

“Sister Axton, sorry.” Thought Reeko with tears in his eyes.

Actually He did not have the heart to leave Axton alone, besides that feeling Rezon will also be hurt because of this event. But the other side of his thinking says that this is the right action.

 

Some children are walking together towards the school gate while talking, sometimes heard laughter or slurring of mantras (harsh words) sobbing from mouth to mouth.
