Overnight

Arna just fell silent in Gio's tight embrace, absorbing his words slowly but surely, with Gio also removing his embrace still with a smile.

“Thanks.” That was all he could express among a million other feelings.

“Already.., now let's eat. You must be hungry!” Gio led him to the parking lot.

A bowl of warm meat soup served in front of them, soupy food is always efficacious when eaten at night. Moreover, they had just been freed from the clutches of the dark alley that drained the energy.

“Live a meal!!” His words began to scoop the greasy soup without caring for Arna and the smiling merchant looking at him.

“Basic Gio!” Arna nudged his shoulder and Gio choked.

“What?” Gio answered with a hot red face and Arna just laughed like before.

“I finished.” Gio said a few minutes later.

“Hah?” Arna gawking, the speed of eating sahaabat this increased since the last time they met.

“You participated in the Gio eating competition?” Arna sipped the gravy on her spoon.

“You.., alone?” Gio guessed but his face revealed an expression of disbelief.

“No... there are actually many people, we live in a large decent building. Like my story earlier, it was those people who helped me.” Arna answered in the end.

“Owh..., I thought you were transformed into a bat, aka living in forest caves.” Canda Gio's.

“But for sure I must thank all of them for saving my best friend.” Said Gio again.

“Yeah, me too.” Arna Mumbles.

Temporary silence, several times heard the sound of honks or rustic car tires coloring the atmosphere of the night in the city of Medianpolis. The difference is very drastic compared to the forest that is always silent but crowded with an orchestra of crickets, tonggerek and other night animals playing with the desau angina from the mountain.

Arna flinched, Gio's change was very fast even now he himself doubted whether this was really his old friend.

“Hey, what is it??” Arna almost choked on the chili.

“Eh, true also yes?”

“The path of the forest at night was dark, do not endanger yourself Arna. Better, you go to my house.” Gio cheered triumphantly.

But again he remembered something.

Gio was speechless, just like Arna he was also disappointed.

“If I leave now, there is no guarantee that I will see Gio again, what is my thirst?” He thought, while Gio stared at his best friend's back blankly.

“Gio.” Call him with a soft tone.

“I'm coming!” Gio said firmly.

“Don't forbid me Arna, I'm coming!” He said while shaking his waist.

“Alright.., Come!” Arna clenched her hands into the sky.

Gio's eyes rounded so happy to be allowed to participate in the action of his friend.

Several police cars and ambulances were parked in front of their building earlier, seen also some soldiers who were on standby with their full weapons. The two of them, Arna and Gio peeked out from across the empty street because a guardrail had been set up to block the road of the vehicle in front of the building, but humans could still break through its crevices.

“Arna.” Call Gio to look at his best friend.

“We continue through that road.” Arna refers to a small alley in because of the building.

“Good!”

The two crossed the road then settled among the officers and entered the small alley area. Arna walked in front of Gio with the cat's stride continuing forward. While Gio himself several times stopped because of doubt, after all, maybe this area has been included in the police line or included in the investigation area.

Gio stopped, the sound of steps was heard from behind him, but when he saw there was nothing there.

“Hmm.” Mumbled wonder.

When he turned around, Arna's body disappeared, immediately his panic spurred.

“Arna.” Call slowly.

“Arna...” He sped up his footsteps, and again the sound of steps was heard behind him.

“Arna.” Gio looked back but his shoulder hit something hard and he melted again to the front taanpa stopped rakaah.

Again he did not find the object or figure he hit. Out of fear, Gio sped up his pace and over time he ran down the hall until the sound of his steps echoed.

“Arna.!!” Call him, right then and there he was pulled behind the trash can.

“Pssst.., Gio!” Arna's voice made her speechless.

“Arnaaa.” He exclaimed as he looked at the figure silencing him.

“Ups.., what is it?” tanyakanya.

Arna's index finger pointed at the street alley. 

“Owh.” Although not fully understood he peered through the rim of the barrel.

There are some soldiers standing guard.

“Quiet and go up first.” Arna.

“Ba-well.” Gio said even though his hand still had not released the grip on Arna's shirt.

“Quick!” Arna gave way to Gio by holding on to the edge of the stairs with one hand.

With a trembling body Gio continued to exert his hands and feet climbing the stairs.

“No safety check straps, no helmet check, no trampoline check, no courage check.” He muttered at half way up the climb (ladder).

“What floor are we on now?” ask Gio.

“Just entered the second floor.” Answer Arna.

“Okay, that new one? The ground floor looks like a terrible death.” Gio's words made Arna giggle due to the fact that she had already fallen off the second floor balcony.

“Until where should we go up?” ask Gio again.

“Floor three is enough.” Answer Arna. “That's important we don't look.” Further.

Moments later, Arna leaps into the gondola beside them while Gio is amazed at Arna's agility. Gio secretly feeds on Arna's physical body that does not look sick at all even after fighting to save him earlier, but somehow.

“From!” He said with his hands outstretched to Gio.

“You must have learned something cool like this from there, right?” Gio moves up the gondola with Arna's help.

“Huahh..eventually until!” Gio sighed and immediately spread his head staring at the star-studded night sky.

“Ya, you're right.” Answer Arna.

“Sorry you should be involved in something like this Gio.”  His feelings are mixed because it involves Gio in dangerous terms and does not manage to find Kak Axton, Rezon, and Reeko.

“Not true!” Said Gio as he approached Arna. “The truth is forgive me because we did not succeed in finding your friends.”

“No, I'm sure they're okay.” Arna answered with a wry smile at the moon above their heads.

“Come home.., Arna.” Gio whispered in his ear.

A robot ruled by a remote, Arna just nodded.
