At a food stall in New Ferrata City Center, Asteria was so excited about eating her lunch. While in front of her, Viana only enjoyed snacks.
“ Anyway, I have to eat a lot. To keep my energy awake!” asteria said as she chewed her food.
Next to Viana, Neil had already finished his lunch. He swept his mouth.
“If you do not finish your lunch soon, we will be attacked by opponents!” Neil's Comments.
Asteria ignored Neil's words. He continued to eat until the last mouthful. “Ah, good!”
Asteria pushed her plate into the middle of the table. “Alright, I'm done. Let's leave.”
Neil stood up.
Asteria picked up a wooden statue that had no hands and no legs that she had resting on the wall. Beyond the expectations of all the previous participants, the wooden statue turned out to be light.
Asteria was in charge of guarding the wooden statue by carrying it, although she had previously protested because she had practiced archery desperately. He wanted to be an archer, not a wooden cradle.
“You have to keep the statue no matter what happens,” Neil said, not caring about Asteria's annoyance.
Asteria carried him using a rope like carrying a backpack. The small straps made his skin hurt. Being a statue carrier is very wrong and risky.
If there was an opponent from behind who shot the statue, Asteria could not avoid it by turning her body, it could be that the arrow would stick into her body. It takes care and tricks to avoid.
Asteria and Neil walked together among the neatly lined shops along the street. Split with Viana in the store.
“Which island do you live on?” ask Neil.
“Not far from here,” replied Neil flat. Eyes straight.
Asteria found no satisfactory answer from Neil. Neil was so mysterious. During his time with him, Neil never asked or opened a conversation. That guy was so cold.
“Hold!” neil's steps stopped. He looks alert. His hand against Asteria's body.
Asteria stopped her steps.
“What's up, Neil?” Asteria.
Neil did not answer. He even pulled the Asteria's arm. He ran through the streets of shops and merchants.
They entered the market. Asteria who was astonished, could not ask anything more. He just followed Neil.
They finally arrived at the forest bordering the beach. Neil carried Asteria running through the bushes and thorns of beach pandan leaves. The two then hid at the root of a large tree.
Asteria's confused. “There is a Nei ..” Neil immediately smothered Asteria's mouth. He signals that Asteria is silent.
A step was heard from the direction of Asteria and Neil's arrival.
The eyes of Asteria and Neil peered at the crack of the root wood. They saw two teenagers, one carrying an arrow and the other carrying a wooden statue. Looks brave.
“You stay here,” whispered Neil.
Asteria nodded, although she actually felt hate being treated weakly and just hid.
Neil stepped slowly around the tree. His body was slightly bent. He took an arrow on his back.
When the two teenagers turned over because they did not find Asteria and Neil, Neil further sharpened his shot. Asteria watched from behind him.
Neil took off his arrows. Darting and as he approached the wooden statue, the two teenagers simultaneously ducked. The arrows shot past the two teenagers. Neil's wide-eyed.
Neil stood. He showed his body to them. His gaze was firm and bold.
It was unexpected that the two teenagers had run in two opposite directions, north and south. They intend to attack Asteria and Neil from two sides.
Asteria also rose. He panicked. Will there be a fight? Asteria's heart is pounding.
Unexpectedly, the opponent attacked Neil and Asteria with a fist. Luckily, Neil was able to hold the archer with his hand before hitting his face. But unfortunately for Asteria, his face was hit by the fist of a statue guard. Asteria.
Time is so stressful. Neil and an archer are already fighting. Some of the opponent's blows can be repelled, but Neil did not expect the opponent's attack to increase and faster.
Neil's overwhelmed. His body occasionally gets hit. Even his leg got hit by an opponent's kick.
Neil fell. He grimaced in pain. His face that hit the tree was slightly scuffed and bruised. In another camp, a wooden guard from the opposing camp had already locked Asteria's hand. He placed the statue on the Asteria's back facing the archer.
The archer from the opposing camp took the arrow from the tube on his back. The bow was held tightly. He then pulled an arrow after being placed on a bow. The sharp arrow eyes faced the wooden statue that was on the Asteria's back. Ready-released.
Asteria glanced at Neil. Downstairs, Neil was already slumped between the bushes. Neil grimaced with the pain in his leg.
As he glanced at the terrified Asteria, his eyes and Asteria's eyes met each other.
Neil moved his hand. Coding instructions to Asteria. Asteria tries to interpret Neil's intentions. Instincts and beliefs are strengthened, he catches Neil's intention explaining that Asteria turned her body and her opponent's body in the count of three.
While Neil also prepared a bow and arrows in a downed condition. With a blink of her eyes Asteria expressed readiness. Both opponents were unaware of this.
The opponent archer had already pulled his bow. From below, Neil did the same. So far, no one has seen. Asteria. He tried to strengthen his mind. There's no other way to do it.
Neil counted with his finger. Asteria's eye tails were paying attention clearly. On the count of three, Asteria surprisingly grasped both hands of her enemy. He gathered energy in his hands and feet. And, hup!
The two arrows together stick right on the wooden statue of the opponent.
Asteria managed to make the opponent off guard and rotate the position in time. The arrow belonging to Neil and the opponent stuck right in the wooden statue. They gasp and stupefy.
Asteria breathed a sigh of relief.
Neil dropped his bow. “We succeeded! You guys off guard!” the thumb of his hand was raised upside down on the opponent.
*
Upon arrival at home, Asteria broke down her body. He felt tired. After changing clothes, Asteria chose to go to sleep immediately. His clothes were mixed with sweat. It gives off an unpleasant smell, but Asteria will still wear the clothes for tomorrow.
Just as he closed his eyes, his mother shouted to him from the direction of the dining room. But Asteria ignored him.
The door of the room of Asteria opened. Mother stood in the doorway staring at Asteria. “Mommy has prepared warm water, Asteria, you should take a shower first. After that, we have dinner. You can sleep.”
The asterisks remained silent. He pretended to be asleep.
“Colah. I've prepared a lot of food for you tonight. I know you just did a tournament, so I made a delicious and energy-filled meal. I also made food with your favorite spicy seasoning,” said mother.
Asteria rose with a lethargic face. His eyes feel heavy. “Alright, I'm coming.”
