Finding a Way Out

Viana walked through the cold and gripping forest. King Luid did not provide him with thick clothes or protective robes from the cold. To his right left were some oddities such as a darting shadow or a moving tree. This should make him have to convince himself that he is brave. Viana did not know which way to go. He has only the task of passing through this dimension to ascend the later dimensions.

The more he stepped, the more he felt his journey was relentless. Viana entered the forest with very large and tall trees. He walked among the lush roots and paved the way. It is like a termite walking between roots. His body feels small and the trees are getting giant.

“God, please protect me,” said Viana.

The roots themselves are not too cold. But the atmosphere is increasingly gripping because there are many skulls lying between the roots. “What kind of place is this? Why is it getting scary?”

Freed from the roots of the terrifying trees, Viana instead entered an even more terrifying place. A wide and long abyss, as if splitting the land in two. Uniquely, on the other side of the ravine there is a sun that makes it as bright as day. While the side of the ravine where Viana sat was only dark as night.

On the bright side of the gorge are trees with fresh hanging fruits, flower gardens, streams and beautiful snowy high mountain scenery. Meanwhile, the bottom of the ravine was only dark without the slightest visible basis.

Viana nodded at him. There is no bridge connecting the two cliffs of the gorge. “Yes God, how can I get through it?”

Viana sat down and rested herself. He felt tired at his feet akibar long walk almost overnight. “If I have to cross this ravine, how do I?”

Finally Viana went around the edge of the ravine hoping to find a bridge to cross. After being traced for quite a while, Viana did not find any bridge to cross. At the same time, Viana began to feel hungry and thirsty. Her throat was dry and her stomach felt empty.

Viana circulated her gaze and she saw an old hut in the trees slightly go into the forest. Viana entered the forest and approached the hut. It is not wrong, there is an old hut with a sturdy wooden building. But the hut was like long abandoned by its inhabitants. And who has ever lived in a place like this?

In the hut there is a wood that is used as a cot, maybe once used as a bed. Viana sat on the side of the couch. He stretched his legs. From the hut, the view and the other side of the ravine can be seen.

Near the back window of the hut Viana saw one plant that had small fruits a kind of red berry. Viana was tempted to taste it. He picked one fruit and chewed it. There is no taste whatsoever on the fruit, just unsalted. Viana waited for a reaction on her body, and there was no nausea or dizziness.

“This fruit is non-toxic,” he said.

Viana picked another one. Just as she was about to eat the fruit, Viana fell down and fainted.

　

　

Viana wakes up in an arid desert. Is this a dream? Her thought. He pinched his cheek, but it hurt. Ah, this is real!

Viana was confused by all this. Not yet he was separated from the Dimension of Fear, now he was somewhere else. Viana decided to walk and continued walking. He was looking for a way out of that place. But now he felt a very severe thirst. At the same time, he saw an oasis in the distance. He walked towards the oasis.

Upon arrival there, Viana immediately drank water in the lake oase. He felt fresh in his throat. “If this mempi, why does it feel fresh?” Viana was getting confused about all this. “Is this part of the Dimension of Fear.”

“Viana, what are you doing here?” from behind, behind the oasis date palm trees, a familiar voice in Viana's ears sounded.

Viana turned her head, and was surprised to see her mother standing holding a basket of freshly picked dates and looking sweet. Viana approached her mother.

“Mother, why is Mom here?” Viana immediately hugged her mother. Her mother hugged and stroked Viana's hair back.

“We go home, yuk. Dad is there,” his mother said. They both walked together. Viana is happy to be with her mother and father again.

Arriving at the wooden house under the date palm tree, the father hugged Viana. Both look happy and miss.

“Why did you just come home?” ask dad. Viana was confused as to what to answer. Is this in Heaven? Did he die from eating the berry?

“Already, now we eat this date fruit,” mother said. They also ate dates together. It tastes so sweet.

“You don't go again, yes. Tonight and the next you sleep and live here. We harvest dates every day. Here quiet and tasty,” said mother.

“Iya, Mum.” Viana nodded. He was so happy to see his mother again.

At night Viana slept in a different room with her parents. But Viana found a peculiarity during sleep. It was like being in between sleep and not. I don't know what the cause is.

Viana's awake. Why am I having trouble sleeping? Have I not been exhausted all day? Viana looked out the window. The desert illuminated by the moon looks stunning.

Viana came out to look at the beauty of nature. He was fascinated to see the beautiful star-studded sky. Suddenly he felt hungry. “Didn't I eat a lot of dates?” muttered.

Viana had a hard time translating all this. He's thinking. And he also remembered that last time he felt hungry while in the old hut in the forest Dimensional Fear. The same hunger.

Viana opened her eyes. No, this must be just part of the illusion of the Dimension of Fear. I need to wake up. Viana tried to find a way out. And he saw the lake where he was drinking this afternoon clear but not reflecting the moonlight. Something very strange.

Viana walked towards the lake. He stepped into the lake. No matter the cold desert night. “Ya, this is illusion.” Said.

Viana entered the lake deeper. By the time Viana stepped up, Viana's mother and father were already standing on the lip of the lake calling out her name. Her mother asked Viana to come back. He invites Viana to eat dates together again and stay away from the lake.

Viana refused. He remembered that part of his consciousness was lost when he ate the date. Viana's mother cried watching Viana leave. He said that Viana did not love her mother.

Viana tried to hold back her mother's taste. “It's an illusion!” thought.

“My mother and father are dead. I've lost them. And this is just an illusion, I can definitely.” With a heavy heart, Viana let go of her fear of losing her parents and decided to swim to the bottom of the lake.

Viana continued to swim in. At the bottom of the lake, he saw a girl lying unconscious. It was herself, Viana. Viana continued to swim and grabbed the girl. As she managed to touch it, Viana woke up from her stupor. Now he was back next to the old hut in the Dimensional forest of Fear.

Viana walked back. He entered the hut and laid his exhausted body on the cot. Accidentally his hand touched a rough surface due to scratches. Viana checked. And it turns out it was a scratch on someone's hand that gave the message. Whether it is scratched with a knife, wood, stone or nail, the writing clearly contains a clue:

Don't fight your fear. But learn why you are afraid of it. And when you understand it, you will find courage.
